I read about them on wikipedia... and apparently Oklahoma was the first one to create them. they were made during the great depression, were the owner would mash onion with the beef patty to stretch out the meat.... and back then, burgers were 5 cents. Fast forward to almost 100 years later, my burger was about 11 bucks. Don't get me wrong, the burger was decently sized, but it was just alright. I mean, if i wanted to get an onion burger i could simply go to in n out and get a burger with grilled onions and raw onion as well. so, while the burgers were good, it didn't wow me and maybe it was too hyped up and it didn't live to its hype, is the reason i only gave it 3 stars.
