Whenever my card expires and I am waiting for a new one the gal waits on charging until I can get her an updated card, she also calls me or e-mails me to let me know; Moving in was incredibly easy when I first enlisted; They offer a military discount on top of their already stellar prices. Additionally I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. It is now time for me to move my items from Loveland since I no longer have family in the area and I am on my way to the East coast and established enough to no longer need storage. Were my circumstances different I would definitely continue using this storage facility, or would definitely use this facility again. Caution: Targeted Theft? We have used this storage facility two summers in a row for our college…read moreage son and his housemate. The first year all went smoothly and we had no complaints. This year, someone picked the lock on the storage unit and stole a 4000.00 bike (that the kid saved up for) and a yeti cooler and then re-secured the lock; there were lots of other misc items in the unit that were left untouched. Even though no one was in sight when these items were brought in, someone knew to target their indoor unit. Either there was a rash of random break-ins or someone was watching, and I'm sincerely hoping it wasn't an employee. We are told there are no security cameras except at the gate. We will be requesting to view the footage. Lesson learned for us, be sure to choose a facility that has more layers of security and don't store items of value.

Don't rent from these guys. In under three months time of renting a space they raised my monthly…read morerent by $100. That was a 57% increase in monthly rent. I was a good renter, paid all payments on time by auto pay, no issues at all from my end. These guys are just greedy. They give you a low rate to get you in and settled and then quickly jack up the rate as if you're hostage to their tactics. I'll never rent from Extra Space storage again. Oh and I did attempt to work with staff on the rate hike prior to posting this review. It was met with a very slight reduction in the rate increase which still reflected nearly 40% rate hike... and again after less than 3 months. I've rented several storage units in my time and never have I had a rate hike that soon or that steep. There's honestly no excuse. Management can call it 'trying to maintain competitive rates' or 'keeping up with rising costs to provide top notch service' but that large of a cost increase in such a short time proves the reality is they're trying to maintain maximum profit with a bait and switch model. You all be the judge. But I'm a believer... when a business shows you who they really are your better off to just believe it up front and move on. I certainly will be and I encourage others to avoid this business.
