Lol... so all of this to tell you I highly recommend either having the chapel do your hair and makeup or making sure you wake up early enough to get it all done because most hotels will make you leave by 11 am! When we arrived at the chapel I was a nervous wreck, the women that work there helped me get into my dress, helped me put my jewelry & shoes on.. helped me every step of the way. I am so grateful for them because without them I do not know how I would've ended up walking down the aisle lol! The venue was beautiful, the reception was amazing and we even got to decorate it ourselves, how we wanted to. My mother & I made our centerpieces, we bought most of the decorations from dollar tree, some came from Amazon. I ordered our party favors from Amazon and put them together myself. Our guest book was custom printed for us it also came from Amazon. I used Spotify playlists on my phone for our ceremony music and reception music and one of the people that worked there played it for us had no issue so no need in spending money on an expensive DJ. ( you just have to be sure you have a headphone jack or an adapter for one/ these are cheap I got ours from Walmart the day before for 10 dollars) I can't recommend this chapel enough. Angel's view is the place to go whether you're wanting a bigger wedding or a small elopement package! They are so friendly, helpful & professional. We opted to do a custom plan- 25 guests, photography, and video, 2 hour long reception with finger foods cheese fruits and veggies salsa & chips etc, a beautiful decorated custom 2 tier cake (they put our custom topper on for us that I got from Amazon lol), my bouquet, my husbands boutonnière, our unity candle and memorial candle and I think we ended up spending around 3K on it. Thank you Angel's View!!! *EDIT I also want to add that I originally requested a 40 person guest list. I paid half as a deposit, and then the month before we went ahead and paid the rest- we told them we only had 20 for sure coming so we settled on a 25 person guest list and they lowered the rest of the cost of the wedding- I believe by around 800 dollars! So they do work with you and won't force you to pay for guests that are not going to be there (unless it's within 30 days of the wedding, after the 30 day mark you can't make changes which is perfectly reasonable!) and if more people than expected showed up, you would just pay the fee for that person that day. Again- totally reasonable

Do not use them. And definitely do not use their Pastor. I was not going to post a negative review…read morefor them but their pastor pushed me over the edge. This company is basically a middleman that wants you to pay them and they have their own vendors that you are unable to check out ahead of time. So to make a long story as short as I can, we had already chosen our own pastor ahead of of time, and so did not use their pastor. And my main complaint is that THEIR pastor, who was not involved in our wedding in any way, posted a VERY NASTY comment and LIE, that we didn't like nor pay for our photos. The real story is that they do not clarify the 20-photo package and that THEY choose the 20 photos to send to you. When we wrote a very professional email to Kim explaining that we were very disappointed that we did not receive the photos we hoped to see, and are willing to pay the difference btw the $500 we paid and the extra $200 for the flash drive to get all photos, Kim said she wanted us to be happy and so will send us the flash drive. We first thought this was a nice gesture to resolve the issue. However, after I posted a photo on facebook, their pastor, whom was not our officiant, not involved in our wedding in ANY way, posted the very nasty public comment that he was told we did not like our photos and got them for free. We feel whatever we agreed with Kim was not his business and he had it all wrong. And this is supposed to be a man of God? No thank you. We are so happy we chose our own very professional, wonderful pastor. Kim tries to accommodate brides during the process, however she has a hard time returning emails or phone calls while we are trying to make decisions. Many emails have to go back and forth rather than a more organized way to handle plans. We hired our own caterer, pastor and videographer. While it's a huge help for them to bring tables and chairs, we do not feel $250/ hr is necessary for day of wedding help. The day of the wedding, we paid $250/ hr for them to come decorate/ set up but my friend did most of the work already. The wedding coordinator forgot to hand me my flowers, therefore I walked down without them so no help there. Mostly, this is about the fact that it is just easier and best to pick your own vendors. They did have a great dj that we were happy with. But thank goodness we picked our own Pastor. Find a beautiful cabin, hire someone to drop off tables and chairs and hire your own pastor, photographer, caterer and videographer. That way there is no middle man charging you extra fees and you know who your vendors are. And Pastor Buddy, how can you call yourself a pastor. My wedding was none of your business. Shame on you.

My lady and I live in the heart of England, many thousands of miles from Smokey Mountain Weddings…read more We chose Pastor Buddy's team to help us cement our union based upon his web-site, a couple of phone calls and some emails. We could not have asked for a more professional, friendly and smooth ceremony. Our big day in front of Cataract Falls was superb. Managed superbly by Pastor Buddy's joyous team. Our travel plans meant we had to leave Pigeon Forge the next day and head for part two of our "grand tour" (Nashville) but a visit to Smokey Mountain Wedding HQ on route was a a pleasure because the photographer had pulled out more stops to get our photographs ready. Ang they were excellent. Have I forgotten anything? Nope. I don't think so. A brilliant day, leading to marriage to a brilliant lady. Did I mention the date? August 19th 2004. Every moment of the day is like it was yesterday. We could not have improved it in any way. And we still have the flowers preserved, and the photos on display. Of course the Marriage Certificate from the County of Sevier takes pride of place in our entrance hall. If you want a wedding ceremony that will live in your heart forever, head to Smokey Mountain Weddings. Graham Wood, England.

Do not get drug in by the gorgeous venue and beautiful photography. We spent almost 2 years in…read moreadvance planning this wedding, spent about $5k, and traveled 8 hours for me to leave in tears on my wedding day. We arrived 10 minutes early and started to get ready. I asked them multiple times to please put out our favors. None of our guests got favors. We had paid extra for a wedding cake and 3 dances which should've added an extra two hours onto our event time. They did not extend our event time like we paid for. They cut our photo time short and we had to choose between getting photos on the deck or in the field because another wedding was arriving and there wasn't time for both. When I mentioned that they were cutting our event short the coordinator tried to blame us saying that we were late, I mentioned that we were actually early and the coordinator responded by attempting to blame us again and saying that we weren't ready on time! (Which is NOT true, I have selfies on my phone with a time stamp showing that We were dressed and ready to go on time.) i am assuming that's her go to excuse when SHE messes up! I did not appreciate her attempting to gaslight me on my wedding day!! Mistakes happens, I get that. But they should've pushed back the next wedding by 30-45 minutes so we could enjoy our moment! Instead they made an announcement over the speaker telling everyone to leave. After that announcement it's like we didn't exist and they just wanted us out. I did not get to eat cake with my guests, I did not get to have my first dance with my husband or my mom. My guests didn't even get napkins and had to eat their cupcakes standing up! We had guests come all the way from Ohio and Florida to be treated this way. I am disgusted by the way they treated my family and I. I poured my heart and soul into this wedding and wanted it to be special and they just treated us like it was a drive through wedding and rushed through it quickly so they could squeeze another wedding in. We ended up dancing to our first dance song on the back porch of my moms Airbnb. The whole reason I chose a destination wedding is because I wanted to keep things low stress since I struggle with my anxiety and they made our special day insanely stressful!!! These people should not be in charge of happily ever afters!!! I was so upset that on the way back to our Airbnb my husband had to pull over and I got physically sick on the side of the road. I spent the first few days of our honeymoon in tears, mourning our reception. They did call and apologize and offered us $200 or 10 extra photos in our wedding album. (As if $200 could replace the priceless memories we lost.) I asked for them to instead refund the full amount of money we paid for the cake reception and they agreed. (The photographer was the one who called us to sort everything out when it wasn't her responsibility, It should have either been the coordinator or owner who called since they're the ones responsible. Extremely unprofessional.) Having the refund eases a tiny bit of the pain but it truly isn't about the money. Nothing can fix this. The memories we lost are priceless. I spoke with them many times before the ceremony because I wanted to make sure that everything would run smoothly. They reassured me time and time again that they had everything under control when in reality they couldn't even handle the 3 hour timeline we had booked and paid off over a year in advance. My heart is shattered. Please believe me when I say they DO NOT care about your wedding! All they care about is the money. Do not trust them with your big day!! There are so many destination wedding venues in Tennessee and you deserve a lot better than flower mountain!! The only highlights of our day was Kate and Ethan. Our photographer Kate was phenomenal!! She had a beautiful personality and was very fun to work with. The photos she took are absolutely breathtaking, she was the perfect wedding photographer. Ethan was our officiant and performed a beautiful ceremony. The ceremony was perfect. It was our coordinator/management ruining our reception and placing the blame on my shoulders, that ruined our flower mountain experience.

Very shady business right here. We were looking for a venue in Tennessee and came across this place…read morewhich sounded great! We exchanged emails between them a couple times before expressing interest and then was asked to put a down payment to reserve our date. After the reservation was scheduled and the down payment had been paid, the company then sends us a contract with some very concerning details that we we're not willing to agree to. We discussed our concerns with the company and decided that we would not be going with this venue because of the contents of the contract. We asked for a refund after choosing not to sign the contract and have our venue here and they blatently refused to refund us our money. I feel that this company flat out deceived us into putting a down payment to reserve our date before presenting us with a contract which any right minded person would not agree to. I don't typically rant about businesses but these people are straight up thieves. DO NOT put money down for any event at this venue without first asking to view any and all contract details and specifications. I personally would not recommend this venue based on my personal interaction with the company and the staff.
