Let's be honest, you come here for the experience. It's in a very touristy area, and part of the appeal is being able to say you've been to Blake Shelton's restaurant. The food is fine, nothing bad, but not the main reason to go. The atmosphere is really what stands out. We visited during the off season, and the live music was great with only a small crowd, which made it much more enjoyable. The decor is well done and adds to the overall vibe. There's also a small gift shop, but it's definitely on the expensive side. This feels like more of a one or two time stop rather than somewhere you'd go regularly. If you're a Blake Shelton fan, it's worth checking out at least once. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, and I definitely wouldn't come during peak season, but in the off season, I would stop in again.

Stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday night. There was live music playing and no wait at 5pm. We were sat upstairs with a party of 4. We couldn't see the live music from where our table was, but there was a tv that we could watch. The menu has GF items marked. I informed our server of me being celiac and asked if the beyond burger was GF. She confirmed with the kitchen that it was. I ordered that on a GF bun with a side of cheddar mashed potatoes. They do not have a dedicated fryer for fries. When my food came out, the bun looked very suspicious and seemed like their normal potato bun. I asked the server to confirm with the kitchen. She took the food, came back with a GF bun and confirmed the original bun was incorrect. I asked her to remake everything since I cannot have cross contamination. The person who brought us our food came out and said he is going to have everything remade including the mashed potatoes. When my food did come out, he had gloves on and gave me new silverware. I still ended up not feeling well after so I must have had some cross contamination. I didn't eat anything from the first plate though. The server was not very knowledgeable and didn't really check on us after the fact. Would not recommend for celiacs.

Food quality/price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is Country Concert Hall. This venue is backed by Blake Shelton and features live country music all day long. I had the grilled Cajun style chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. It was excellent. The wife had the Taco salad and said it was very good, especially since it didn't have the big taco shell but instead had the corn chip strips. The drinks were well made and the service was good. Definitely a great vacation experience.

The singer was great, lots of great old country and classic rock covers

Back in Gatlinburg for a weekend visit, wife and I decided to stop in here to take in some live music with dinner. The music was great, however, my wife ended up with food poisoning and we had to cut the weekend short. Next time we're in Gatlinburg we will likely eat someplace else and only stop in here for live music and drinks

    Billy Brown dinner music!

Great music great food! Love Blake's Old Red. Recommend Ma's Meatloaf & Ribs. Nice relaxing vibes.

Great food, great service! thanks ROSE! Man had we missed out by not going there sooner. We ate right next door a couple days before and although it was pretty good, it wasn't OLE RED good!! Stop in and enjoy yourselves while in Gatlinburg!

Destiny was awesome!!! While we weren't quite ready for lunch, we enjoyed music by Nathan Morgan. We've been to the Nashville location and gatlinburg did not disappoint!

Keep on walking... We were starving after a long hike and saw this place and it wasn't busy (I know why now) - one and done place. Live music is great but there wasn't any when we were there. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a Bluetick Burger both with the tater tots. Burger is supposed to be cooked medium per the menu. Chicken sandwich was the better of the two but sadly the chicken was DRY. The bun doesn't hold up to the avocado and slaw. The burger/ I honestly can't believe they even served - shame on the cook and the server. The meat was so overcooked and add a 10 day old dried out bun... I asked for some BBQ sauce because the burger comes with no mayo no ketchup no mustard just a dried out (literally) bun - I was charged for the BBQ sauce. Service was OK - it's really disappointing when you spend hard earned money and feel cheated. That's all I have to say about this place.

We stopped into Ole Red for lunch while walking through Gatlinburg, and the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd been transported straight to Nashville. The vibe is undeniable, great layout, solid service, and live music that's genuinely hard to pass up. On atmosphere alone, Ole Red delivers five stars easily. The food, however, didn't live up to the setting or the price tag. I ordered the Pulled Pork Bar-B-Que Sandwich with house-smoked pulled pork, vinegar slaw, pickles, Ole Red BBQ sauce, on a potato bun, plus a side of fully loaded tater tots with white queso, taco meat, and sour cream. The BBQ pork itself was a major disappointment. Honestly, I've had better pulled pork reheated from the grocery store. It lacked flavor, depth, and anything resembling "house-smoked" character. The fully loaded tater tots were solid and easily outshined the sandwich. The surprise star of the table was the cornbread. We tried to sub it instead of fries and were told it had to be ordered separately... once it arrived, I understood why. It came out in a massive cast-iron skillet and was some of the best cornbread I've had in years. Warm, rich, and absolutely worth it. All in all, Ole Red feels a bit like a tourist stop: great energy, live music, and a fun experience, paired with mid-range, predictable food. I probably wouldn't go back specifically for a meal, but there's nothing wrong here.. just don't come expecting the food to match the hype.

This is your typical Tennessee local bar, but it's packed with tourists. I stopped by on a night when Joe Lee Stevens was performing, playing some great old school country tunes. He was the main reason we decided to pop in, as we love live music. The place was pretty crowded for a Sunday night, especially during spring break, with lots of families and kids around. I can't say the bartenders left a particularly friendly or welcoming impression, which made things feel a bit awkward. Still, we ordered two drinks, enjoyed the music, and made our way out quickly. I had the Hillbilly Breeze, and my babes had the Dirty Tractor. Both drinks were refreshing, but honestly, they seemed a bit light on the alcohol, more like juice than a proper cocktail. We both choose the option with the souvenirs glasses, 2 sinks with glasses came out $48, kind of steep is you ask me.

Visited Ole Reds on a bachelorette trip thinking it would be pretty basic over priced food but it ended up being one of my favorite spots of the weekend. The waitress was wonderful. We got cute glasses (they have lots of take home options for an upcharge) and fun/delicious drinks. I would also recommend the nachos and the biscuits.

Before I could get out of earshot, they bragged to a co-worker "I can always tell what they are going to ask for." They couldn't tell what I was going to ask for because they didn't ask. They were a nice person, but they acted like they really wanted to be somewhere else. The tasting was rushed and messy. There was moonshine all over the counter. There were only three others at the bar other than myself and the in the distillery was slow. There was no pride in the product, the service, or business itself. The bartender reminded us several times that "this is not Sugarlands, you can drink when you want". It was excessive. The tasting ended abruptly when the bartender just walked away from the bar. The person at the snack bar was watching movies on their phone as I walked out. The ambiance was non existent. Most of the time I was there, the staff complained about the customers and expressed their sincere interest in going home. Moonshine tasting at Sugarlands Distilling Company has become one of our annual Gatlinburg…read moretraditions. At this point, a trip to Gatlinburg without stopping at Sugarlands would feel a little like visiting Disney World and skipping the castle. Sure, you could do it. But why would you? This year's tasting was hosted by our guide, bartender, entertainer, comedian, and unofficial life coach... Jeff. And before I go any further, Jeff specifically requested that his name be spelled correctly in this review. So one more time for the people in the back: Jeff. Jeff absolutely made the experience. He was fast, personable, engaging, and knew his products inside and out. For each moonshine sample, he didn't just tell us what we were drinking. He painted a picture. He described the flavors, explained what to expect, suggested mixers, recommended serving ideas, and somehow kept the entire room entertained while doing it. That's harder than it sounds. After all, you're standing in a room trying a dozen different moonshine flavors while competing for attention with alcohol. Yet Jeff managed to keep everyone engaged from start to finish. And let's talk about the value. Where else can you sample roughly a dozen different moonshines for five bucks? Seriously. Five dollars. In today's economy, that's approximately the cost of half a fast-food combo meal or one gallon of gas and a prayer. The pours are small, but after a dozen of them, you'll have a pretty good idea of what you like. And the flavors are genuinely fun. Some are sweet, some are fruity, some will sneak up on you like a ninja wearing overalls, and all of them make for an entertaining experience. But here's a pro tip many visitors miss: Don't leave after the tasting. Head to the bar in the back. The cocktails are surprisingly good and very reasonably priced. We're talking about seven-dollar mixed drinks and five-dollar shots in a tourist destination. In Gatlinburg. That's practically community service. Good moonshine. Good value. Good entertainment. And another successful addition to our annual Gatlinburg tradition. Five stars. And thank you, Jeff. (Spelled correctly.)

You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

Unsure we came at 7 they said pick tickets up 720, we returned 2 lines, the only sign saying prepaid tickets proceed through scanners. Went through scanner, nope VIPs only. The security directed us to the long line that wraps half around the building. It's frustrating and we weren't the only ones to experience this. Once in line, you proceed through the metal detector, past security, there is a booth, where the employees ask your name. Once you provide it, they hand you tickets, and you proceed to the photo area. The staff takes your photos to sell to you later during the show. Before getting to the show and seating, you stay in an area where there is a 3 person band playing, and signing. They do country, as well as some classic rock. The band themselves were very good, and got the crowd to participate in their show, calling out where they are from, and being overall interactive. While in the area, they sell refreshments, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, popcorn, glasses and so on. At approximately 820pm, the staff directs you upstairs to proceed through the red curtains into the seating. If you buy regular tickets your in rows 4+ going up. These seats provide an overall better view of the arena, it's not so high you can't see, maybe 10 rows to top? The premium seats are first 3 rows, if you have small children who want to be more interactive in the show and have a better view I would recommend these seats. Our waiter Tim, was a great guy, funny, and attentive to needs. The dinner, was served, starting with a roll, vegetable soup. Next came the Cornish game hen, then mashed potatoes, corn on cob and brisket. Overall the food was good, and lots of it! You get your own mini rotisserie chicken, and 1 scoop of each of the other. Before the show starts you pick your desert, our options were apple crisp, or chocolate coconut cake. We got the crips, which came to us hot, and delicious. You can order drinks from the scan code at the table, or the waiter will come by pre show and ask what you would like to drink. Options were coke products, tea (sweet and unsweetened) lemonade, and water. Moving into the show, so first and foremost, i haven't been to a lot of dinner shows. This one however was great, they had horsemanship, races, competitions and more. Once the show begins the show master, begins by amping up the crowd, 1 side is the north, 1 side the south, they have friendly competitions for both sides during the show. They have you cheer on your team, as they race around obstacles, pick up flags and return the competing against the other side. They also do pig races, where you cheer on the north or south, overall I believe there is 10-11 completions, all fun, and gets you amped up. During the competitions they will bring out people from the crowd (2-3 times) and have them participate in the games, and also a little wagon magic tricks. Besides the completion thy putting shows such as riding horses through and around obstacles, a butterfly show (horses with wings, lights and people acting as butterfly's). They also have some aerial displays and parts of the show. Overall a fun experience minus the mass confusion at the beginning, would recommend going especially if you have children. You won't leave hungry, the food I would say is worth it, the show is worth seeing. Things worth noting, it is a little expensive, tickets for 2 can be north of $100, the drinks, for 2 plastic mason jar alcohol drinks with tip $50+. Be prepared to spend a little. 2 show times, 6 pm, and 830pm.
