Came here while stopping on a road trip for the night on a Friday night. Service was good, food was fresh and there was plenty of sushi, shrimp options, and Mongolian grill. Salad looked fresh, ice cream, desserts and all the regular things you'd expect. The place was clean and nicely decorated, not too loud, very relaxing. These guys are pretty elaborate Asian buffet. They've got all of the favorites and a couple of pretty innovative things. Love the green beans and mushrooms. Love the potstickers. The food was nothing like the photos , there was no sushi , there tapioca pudding had no tapioca, me and my boyfriend was pretty let down . He got the hibachi grill and the guy was just on his phone , normally in our home town they take longer to cook the food the guy is very engaged and smiles , this dude at this restaurant was on his phone while the food cooked and it was done so quick , the noodles weren't cooked enough , there's also no snow crab like in the pictures showed either . Truly a let down . I used to come when I was tounge but it's truly changed and not for the good the atmosphere was laid back but the women brought are check really early and kept looking over at us and the check to see if we had paid or not, personally will not be going again . read more

Since reopening, the buffet has been ok, but the real reason why this is a 5 star restaurant is because of the HIBACHI GRILL. Oh yeah, the grill in the back of the buffet can make can really good food. You can choice your meats, noodles and vegetables before it gets on a grill. When it's on the grill, you can pick a sauce to put on your meal. When it's done cooking, you can have your plate and enjoy. The meal is so good that it alone is worth the $9 price at lunch. Went here today with my cousin for lunch. The prices were cheap only 7.25 for lunch and it was a great deal. The food was all great with many different healthy options and vegan and vegetarian options. There was a fruit bar and a dessert bar. There was also an area where u can get ur meat and things cooked to how you would like. My only complaint is that we sat down and the waitress asked us how we were doing and my cousin started to say good how are you and she cut her off and then asked us what we wanted to drink. It didn't seem like very nice etiquette at first but then she made up for it in attentiveness to us and she made sure our glasses were always full. Good visit read more

It is not bad for a buffet. You really need to be a fan of quick and cheap Chinese food to enjoy it. They do have some sushi and a Mongolian grill type of service. I tried the sushi. It was okay but not great. The buffet food was hit and miss. Some of which you could tell was sitting there too long and was below the prime temperature. I did enjoy some of the buffet items that I tried though. The good news is that the food did not make me feel sick or hungry again an hour later like you sometimes get with this type of food. Overall I would give it a par score for the type of restaurant it is. If I could give half stars it would be 2.5 stars. read more

Went to Sidney for a business meeting and tried out Hong Kong Buffet. I'll say this, this one is definitely better than China Garden Buffet in the same town. Is it good? It's okay. But for people living in Sidney, it's probably the best choice if they don't want to drive far. read more

Typical Chinese buffet with a very good variety. They have a Mongolian grill included with the price but during busy times you will wait to get your food cooked. One weird thing is that they give you a fork but no spoon. Spoons are found on the buffet. Also grab a napkin or two because only a few tables get those as well. The main restaurant area is clean and tidy. The wait staff is friendly and prompt with drink refills. Swiss cake rolls and ice cream for dessert. Nice touch. I judge a lot about a place by how they keep the bathroom. This place rates weak with me as the bathroom was not clean and kept up very well. I hope that doesn't translate into bad things down the road. I've eaten here about a 1/2 dozen times have on occasion had food that was just warm and not hot as expected. The favors are put together well but I worry about quality as this place continues down the path. Overall satisfied but could be better keeping the food hot and the bathrooms much cleaner. read more

Very nice buffet. Modern restaurant, clean and staff was attentive. Many choices on the buffet from sushi (tuna, salmon and eel) to hibachi grill to Chinese dishes to fried appetizers and dessert bar. This was definitely a better Chinese buffet. read more
