Wow wow wow. This food is so hot , fresh , flavorful, absolutely perfect!! Look at the vibrancy in my pics. For a place so off the beaten path in the Pee Dee (a term I learned 10 seconds ago) the food & service is outstanding on the level of a dine-in, city restaurant . Seriously, go here. Previous reviews made mention of the friendly staff, but the Southern hospitality still caught me off guard. They were SO NICE. Contrary to other reviews, there is seating inside, about 6 tables with four chairs each. We dined inside and watched the lady at the counter greet every customer with a broad smile, kind voice and dancing eyes. Hong Kong is by far my fave Chinese place in Florence. The food is always super hot, they have things ready super quickly, and their sesame chicken is def the best around. Crab Rangoons are awesome and always steaming hot as well. read more

Excellent Food! We just moved here from Myrtle Beach and this was fantastic! The Szechuan chicken was soo good. Stir Fry style, tons of veggies, great flavor. The white rice though, was some of the best jasmine rice I've ever had! Huge portions, will definitely be back! Thank you!! read more

The only Chinese restaurant we enjoy I our house! We've been ordering from here for probably 20 years. The food is fresh, seasoned well, and the containers are packed full. It's the ONLY place in town you can get Shrimp Toast. The Steamed Dumplings are very light and flavorful. I'm sort of old school and still enjoy Chicken Chow Mein and an Egg Roll. The Pork all Mein is delicious, and so is the general Tsoa. A good value are the combination plates, they have a large variety. Not really an eat in restaurant but when we order take out, they are very prompt and friendly. They also deliver through DoorDash. read more

Hong Kong is the only Chinese restaurant that I eat from in Florence since I've been living here for 11 yrs! Food is always at it's best taste and anything that I order is correct every single time! I started going here because a friend recommended it. It is across town from me and the food is decent. What is not decent is the customer service i received on 12/10/2023. The lady seemed to have an attitude and was just rude. She made me feel like I was interrupting her time and the least little thing I said or asked pertaining to the food, irritated her to no end. I will be taking my business where I am welcomed and wanted from now on. Good customer service is priceless... please learn some. read more

Hands down the worse Chinese food I have had this far! The egg roll was overstuffed and salty. The french fries (I know I shouldn't be ordering this from a chinese restaurant.) Were soggy and unsalted. I am not sure what recipe they used for the General Tso's Chicken, but that is a recipe that I have never encountered and one that I wish not to encounter ever again. My teriyaki chicken on the stick was edible. Please do not waste your time coming here. read more

A great little strip mall Chinese food place in a dying shopping center. My new favorite strip mall Chinese where I live. Wantons are a fair size and always hot. The Cantonese Boneless chicken in brown sauce is really great. It's my go to order any time I have spare money. Sadly the prices went up but due to COVID everything has gone up. I've been sampling the different fast food Chinese restaurants in Florence City and so far I think is the best one. Their food is consistently good and well seasoned. I especially like their general chicken, shrimp egg foo young, egg rolls, and their fried chicken. The egg rolls depending on who makes it is either not greasy or overly greasy. What sets then apart from the others in Florence is that their food is seasoned and not bland. Their food tastes just like the Chinese restaurant I order from since I was a little kid back in Virginia Beach VA... The only Chinese place I order from unless I'm craving some authentic Chinese dim sum. I recommend you try this place if you're ever in the mood for some fast food Chinese in Florence. read more

I had once rated this place very high. Thank you Yelp for letting me change my review! I don't know if they changed ownership or just hired an awful staff. The young man behind the register was rude and the kitchen was dirty, egg rolls laying on the floor. I didn't eat the food but it smelled old and burnt. I have nothing more to say other than stay away. It's a shame. Wish I hadn't pre-paid. Live and learn. read more

This place came highly recommended, however, it appears that it has changed ownership. The place is super filthy. Having little kids running around the kitchen is probably not a great idea. I wish we had looked harder at the surroundings before we ordered. Couldn't eat the egg rolls after the first bite. My wife even called a friend after we left to tell them where we ate in case we wound up in the hospital. read more

The best Chinese Food in the area and I have tried quite a few places. Everything is well seasoned and tastes super delicious; even the crispy side noodles! Prices are very reasonable too. If I didn't know that I was eating Chinese food from SC I would swear it was Chinese food from the NJ/NY area where Chinese food tastes amazing.
