They were a little late in picking us up from the airport, which was annoying but acceptable. However they were very late (at least 20 minutes) in picking-up us from the hotel back to the airport. So much so that we gave-up and just got a taxi. Stay away from these guys. read more

Eek! Me thinks not indeed. Idiotic business model describes Honolulu Airport Shuttle perfectly; it's a miracle that they're still in business. They provide a break down of discount prices -- for airport transportation, in this case -- on their early-90s looking website. These "local deals" are designed to hook you and begin to reel you in. Once you call, they "regretfully" break it to you that nearly no times are available for pick-up -- even six months ahead of time; that they don't have any drivers available -- ever. While I have never managed a driver service, I would imagine that actually booking transportation reservations is a fundamental pillar to staying in business. Unless they are essentially a front, one is baffled that they are still open for business, let alone a working phone number and a website. If you're serious about finding a driver service or airport transportation and want to avoid playing games avoid this establishment at all costs. read more

DANGER!!! they tried to put my 26 pound, 17 month baby in a booster seat instead of a proper car seat! when i confronted them ,they said it was "ok" because they are a public transportation company! its not ok its infact illegal for a child of that size and ageto be in a booster. they didnt do anything to make this right they kept up there arguement, and we got a ride to the airport another way(with a proper car seat). read more

We were given a flyer on the streets of Honolulu for this shuttle service, saw that the prices "Looked" good; so called them for a pick-up. The 8:30am pick-up was arranged and out on the street we waited. By 8:45 we were concerned because we needed to be at the Airport By 9am. At 8:55 we gave them a call, and waited. At 9:10 another call and they said to be patient they would be there. By 9:20 (50 minutes later) we made another call and the dispatcher got very rude and told us to "JUST WAIT and to not call again". By this time we were getting panicked and knew we were going to miss our appointment, so ONE hour after waiting on the street for the Honolulu Airport Shuttle, we hailed a taxi. NEVER - NEVER will we ever use this company. I suggest you stick to more Reliable transportation or Miss you flight. read more

7/24/2013 Edit " Wish there was a zero star. First, they take forever to confirm. When you arrive they take forever and you can barley understand the operators when you call. They tell you that you must turn on our cell immediatley when you land as your driver will be waiting for you and even then they have your number wrong, even though on our confirmation its correct. They pick you up at the end of the terminal and then drive you to another location in a dodgey industrial site where you have to change vans and move all your luggage, reinstall car seats etc Resulting in having to TIP TWO DRIVERS. They claim its because the airport authority is changing their pickup permits and they have not received their new permits yet. Bull. I think they do not want to pay for commercial shuttle pickup as their car they pick you up in is unmarked. We had 7 bags and two car seats, just a big pain. But I can live with that experience. Told to call after 6pm night prior to confirm traffic and pickup time for departure flight, which we did, twice. We were told to be waiting at hotel reception promptly at 4.30am for a early morning flight and to ensure we have our cell phones on. We were there at 4.25am which was a mission in its self with a young family. 4.35 came and went. At 4.51am we made the decision to take a cab after serveral attempts to call their offices, it said mail box was full (probably of people wondering where their transfer was). We were lucky that we were at a major hotel where there were taxis just sitting there at almost 5am. Otherwise we would have missed our flight, which we barely made as it was. I called their office when I arrived home and was told someone would call me back. I have called serveral times and nothing, keep being told someone will call me back. no explanation or apology, nothing. Infact they did not even sound surprised to me, I am disputing my credit card charge and have contacted the Better Business Bureau. I understand that errors and mistakes can happen, but i confirmed this inside 12hrs prior and after contacting, they have made no attempt to rectify the issue, not even a made up excuse, just ignoring me. That's what makes me really angry. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. GO WITH SOMEONE WHO GIVES A DAMN. Update: We were emailed with an explanation, no call, just an email. Apparently just before entering the pickup area a family flagged them down and the driver loaded them in. The driver picked them up not verifying any details, took this family to the airport, never once verifying names or anything. Those people got a free ride to the airport! read more

Definitely need to work on your customer service. Should be nicer to Kamaaina! Will never call or use your service. Spoke to a very rude person who has know knowlege on customer service. You need to hire a customer service trainer who will educate you on Branding and how important it as a marketing tool. And worst yet...you never answered the email I sent to you last month! I could tell you my long and drawn out story, but instead, I will share with you the managers classy reply to me after I refused to use their horrible service. " It was unfortunate that you could not use our service on your arrival today. Even the animals in jungle these days follow certain rules and regulations, and it is surprising how people who call themselves citizen of a country cannot adhere to the state rules and laws. We cannot bend the rules for anyone. The chauffeur was there on time to provide the service, but you refused to use it. I booked Honolulu Airport Shuttle on line. As a non US citizen, to pay by credit card involved an international call. That was okay. The E mail with lengthy instructions asked that I call from baggage claim on arrival. (why not allow a TXT message). I duly did this. To cut a long story short the driver was at least 150 metre down the middle pick up island well way from International Arrivals. That involved a couple more calls to locate him and a very rude response from what I later discovered to be the owner. The driver had not been told the number of passengers and had spelt our name passed over the phone wrong. Pretty poor internal organisation systems clearly the prime cause. Also had problems on departure. Asked for 1800 pick up, rang as requested two hours prior to pick up to be advised pick up at 1830. I was happy with that but then asked to pay $20 "late fee" when we rolled out of the hotel at 1820. I discovered from the driver the company owner manned the phones. I fully concur with other comments. He is one of the rudest, non customer service orientated individuals I have ever encountered. In my 40 years of regular travel I have never had such an unpleasant exchange with anyone. "Rude little twirp" is the way I would also describe him. The van and drivers (once contact made) were fine but overall I would NOT recommend using this company. read more

DANGER!!! At pick-up, they tried to put my 11 month baby in a booster seat instead of a car seat. I had requested a rear-facing car seat at booking. I had to send the driver back to the company to get another car seat. Upon return to the airport, I called the company not just once but TWICE to make sure the driver brought a suitable, rear facing car seat. The driver still brought an infant seat that could only be installed in the forward facing direction, not rear facing (said so on the car seat itself). I called the company to complain and ask for my $10 back for the car seat money I had paid. John told me I would need to e-mail and I told him I didn't want to e-mail it and I wanted it resolved now because I was busy John told me it was my problem and that they wouldn't refund me. I argued with him and he hung up on me. I called him back and he hung up on me 7 more times, telling me each time that he would call the Honolulu police if I kept calling. The 8th time I called, he talked to me and asked me to e-mail my complaint to them. read more

Stay away from this company! If you do take a chance on them, don't make advanced reservations or give them a credit card. We were supposed to spend a night in Honolulu on the way home from Palau, but our flights got changed making that impossible. These guys refused to respond to emails and phone calls for days, and once they finally did they refused to refund any of the charges. We ended up paying full price for a service we never used. There's enough competition in Honolulu airport that we could have hired whomever was available and competitively priced when we arrived. read more

This is a really nice airport shuttle service. It's like a taxi. It picks you up and takes you directly to the airport without stopping for other people so the trip is as short as possible. I found this business online using Google, and though I knew nothing about them, I thought I'd try them out so my family wouldn't have to leave work to take me to the airport. My driver picked me up right at the agreed upon time in a very nice, immaculately clean, comfortable mini-van. The driver was very pleasant, very professional, and an excellent driver. This is a great choice, especially if you are staying someplace outside the service area of one of those really cheap shuttle services that takes large groups to and from the resort areas. I paid $35 (with small kama'aina discount) from my location in a mauka section of Honolulu. Leaving Hawai'i is always painful. If you can, why not treat yourself to a pleasant ride to the airport. read more

I had very bad experience with their service. We requested their service from Honolulu Airport to Waikiki. Did not see anyone after I picked up our luggage so I called them. I was told that the traffic was bad in Waikiki due to road construction and a driver will be there in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, no one showed up, I called again, and was told the driver was on the way, it will be another 10 minutes. 15 minutes passed and no one showed up. I called again, same answer, driver was on the way due to bad traffic. The driver finally arrived after more than 1 hour, to be exact 1 hour and 10 minutes. The driver kept blaming the traffic because road construction was going on in Waikiki on that week. If they anticipated road construction, shouldn't they allocated more time to travel to the airport to pick up their passengers? I think they only left Waikiki to the airport after I called. I sent them an email the day before I left for my trip to confirm my appointment. read more
