I have used King Airport Shuttle several times for HNL airport drop offs and pickups. They are always on time and communication is excellent. Most recently, our return flight to Honolulu was delayed by two hours, arriving past midnight. The driver was waiting for us and we were picked up as soon as we got our bags. (This the opposite of what happened when our outbound flight was delayed and the transport we pre-arranged in Portland refused to wait and refund our money.) I booked online for pickup at HNL. I followed the instructions to meet outside of baggage claim and to call when I arrived. I left 3 messages before finally getting a call back that the driver was stuck in traffic. Total wait time 1 hour. Unacceptable after a long flight and no communication from the company despite the instructions saying they will monitor your flight arrival. Very disappointed. read more

When my family and I travel, for some reason we never travel light. There will always be a minimum of 1 check in bag per person and a wheelchair for my mother. For the holidays we were travelling to the continent to visit my sister. But trying to find transportation was hard. Especially when they quoted me a very affordable price for 8 check in bags, 4 carry ons, 4 humans and a wheelchair. It sounded too good to be true. I'm so happy I took the chance. Not only was the pickup at our house early but the vehicle was huge. It was able to fit everything. In fact, we could have added a few more bags and humans. The driver was friendly, professional, and helpful. When we returned, it was easy to find the driver. And received the same great service in a vehicle that accommodated everything. We just got back from our trip to Oahu and I wanted to highly recommend King Airport Shuttle for any transportation https://www.kingairportshuttle.com One of the kids' favorite things was all 10 of us driving around in the bus together. We contacted them on a whim to transport us from Aulani to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and they were on time, confirmed the day before and provided great service. On the next day, we had a tour scheduled with another company and they informed us the day before that they would not have the van to accommodate all of us. Seeing as how much the kids loved being together, that was unacceptable and we contacted King Airport Shuttle again to see if they could rescue us, and they did!! The van came on time and provided a cooler of drinks for us. We had an idea of where we wanted to go and the driver, Bob, had the knowledge and insight to guide us on our tour and make any changes needed. The children loved being together and having the driver and it was half the price that we were paying for the other tour. We ended up hiring them for the next three days to take us around and back to the airport on our final day. We were relieved to have reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Our driver opened the door for everyone each time, waited for us at the sites for as long as we wanted, and kept the van cool and comfortable for us. "Bob" was our driver for most of the rides and he was great! While their website seems unassuming and their name implies only "airport shuttle", they are so much more. We are so happy that we came across this company and will look forward to contacting them again in the future when we make it back to Oahu! read more

I scheduled the shuttle to pick me up at the Honolulu airport mid-week around 12:30 PM. I called when we got off of the plane and said I would call again when we retrieved our luggage from the baggage claim area. I called and was told 15 minutes, so we went to the pickup area. 20 minutes later, no van. So I called and was told the driver had a delay on the previous customer and it would be 15 minutes. The van finally arrives. On the return trip, I called the day prior to our departure to make sure the van was coming at the agreed upon pickup time. We were at the pickup location in front of our hotel and received a call that the van was 15 minutes late due to traffic. The driver said it would be van with King on the van. We didn't see a van with King on it, however the driver parked and came up to us. No where on the van was King printed or labeled. The price was good, however the service was subpar. I doubt I will use them again and I don't see how I can recommend them. read more

We travel with a toddler who requires a car seat, so I usually drop my wife and daughter off at the airport, because Uber's usually refuse to let my daughter ride without a car seat. King Aiport Shuttle came up at the top of the list. I ask about the vehicle use and how they work. I was surprised to find out that it is for a private ride in a 12 seater van. I actually needed to haul a lot of luggage to the airport. It was a little extra for the luggage, but very competitive prices. I called last minute and they were able to accommodate appointment. We were picked up promptly at our designated time, so don't be late because these guys are prompt and reliable. The van was clean inside and out. Our driver from Waikiki to the airport was Bob. Bob sent us a text the morning of departure with his ETA and he was actually a few minutes early. The van was very clean and Bob was great. Bob saw a wreck on the freeway that would slow the trip to the airport so he used an app on his phone to get us around the accident using side roads, we actually got to the airport early. They even ask for flight info, so they can check if you arrive early or are delayed, and they will wait for you. King Airport Shuttle, YOU are awesome sauce! I had a fabulous experience with this airport shuttle service and would happily use them again in the future! When I booked my flight to Honolulu last year, I learned that ride sharing services are prohibited from picking up passengers from the airport. They can drop you off, but they aren't allowed to pick you up when you arrive. I did some research on popular airport shuttles in the area and many of them had some nightmarish reviews. I came across King Airport Shuttle and decided to use them for my transport from the airport. I called a couple of days in advance to reserve my booking and the gentleman on the phone said that they would send me a text confirmation with instructions. I was able to give them my flight number and they were able to retrieve the flight information immediately. I received the text about an hour or so later with easy to follow instructions about where to stand and about payment details. They charge a $25 flat fee to be transported from the airport to Waikiki. There is a 5% added fee when paying with card and they charge an additional $5 for pick-ups and drop-offs between the hours of 9pm and 5am. My flight was set to land around 9:30 in the evening, but it actually ended up landing earlier than expected. I called the driver to let him know that I had landed, and he told me that he would try his best to arrive earlier than the scheduled 9:30pm pickup time. When I got to the pick-up stop, I waited for about 5 minutes until the shuttle arrived. I didn't get my driver's name, but this guy was a true stand up! He opened and closed to the door for me and put my bags in the car and took them out when I arrived. I know this sounds like it should be common sense but you'd be amazed how many driver's DON'T do this and still expect some kind of astronomical tip! Um... no. But this driver... he was such a joy! He chatted with me during the entire ride and gave me some great suggestions of places to visit while on my trip. The ride seemed so quick and he knew exactly where the hotel was. The one thing that I am always nervous about is "will the shuttle service be on time". King Airport Shuttle was on time. They were courteous, helpful and able to accommodate several changes in my itinerary. Here is the awesome thing that happened. I left my cell phone in the shuttle. It fell under the seat and it was on silent. I called the dispatch at 0530 in the morning and asked for help. He was back to me in 15 minutes and he said that the shuttle was going to pull up in front of my airline service and I could check to see if the phone was in the car. It was and my day was saved. These are really good folks to work with. They are also very economical to use. read more
