Service is quick and price is right I usually make reservation ahead of time by filling out its online form. The company sends me confirmation email and gives directions to locate the driver after arrival in the email. I then make payment online and prepare cash tip for driver. The driver monitors my plane arrival time and sends text message promptly. Instead of fighting through taxi/Uber crowds, I get direction to locate the driver at a private parking lot across the arrival hall. The driver is always polite and pleasant. He keeps his car clean. I compared with a few companies and got the best rates for roundtrip airport shuttle service from Go808Express. I was impressed by how quickly they responded to emails so I booked the airport shuttle and another ride during the trip with them. All 3 drivers we had were prompt and great at communicating - even texting photos of the meet up location to make things clear. Before each ride, they email or call to confirm whether you want the car seats forward-facing or rear-facing so they are already set up and ready to go when the shuttle arrives. I appreciate this attention to detail since we were traveling with a large group of 9. When I realized the night before our return trip that I arranged for pickup at the wrong time, I was so grateful that they were able to accommodate a last-minute time change for us so that we were all able to make it to our flights on time. The minute we landed into Honolulu I got a text from Dale. He was our driver. He was extremely nice and let us know he was there waiting for us and where we should go. The only way go from Honolulu airport to Waikiki. Taxi companies have pushed through laws banning ride sharing vehicles from picking up passengers at Honolulu airport. Went to www.go808express.com 24 hours in advance and reserved a round trip pickup at Honolulu airport to Waikiki. 2 people and luggage for $25 cash plus gratuity, each way. They require an airline flight number in case of delays. Day of the flight, our Alaska Airlines flight out of San Jose was delayed due to lack of ground transportation to tow the airliner from the gate. That's a first, with us spending 25 minutes on the tarmac. Got into Honolulu 25 minutes late, and instead of being at the luggage carrousel at 1:05pm, we got there at 1:30pm. Called 808-489-0000, and they said I put in the wrong flight number. Fortunately they were waiting for me, still after half an hour, even without a credit card advance payment. Walked about 300 feet outside the exit doors, and there were two go808 vans waiting, but the other for another flight. Our driver Lei was a bit bummed about waiting 25 minutes, but helped us with our luggage, and loaded us in the clean, recent model shuttle van. The two of us all by ourselves in the 12 passenger shuttle. Felt secure and safe with our driver, who wore the usual Hawaiian service outfit: Hawaiian shirt and black pants and black shoes. Only employees servicing the tourists wear those loud Hawaiian shirts. Takes us 20 minutes to drive the 7.8 miles to Hilton Hawaiian Village, through a maze of lane switches and turns. Which is why you don't want to drive here yourself, when in Waikiki. Lei puts to rest all those stereotypes about driving while Asian, and is a smooth driver, safe lane changes, no speeding, no hitting the curb when turning, and no parking over the parking lines. Delivers us door to door to the Grand Waikikian. Says that on the return trip, she can't pick us up in this spot, filled with expensive black taxis, but will have to go to the bus pickup area of Hilton Hawaiian Village. Better than losing your shirt forking over $45 for an 8 mile taxi drive from the airport!. read more

Took a private van tour of island today with Go808express.com. They also provided us with round trip airport transfers. If you are going to Oahu anytime soon and have a larger party (we were 6) , don't waste money on the commercial tours. They were able to hook us up with a private large 15 passenger van, we had plenty of space and our driver was able to take us to all our north shore spots. He dropped us off and stayed in the car. Parking now is a nightmare and there are thieves all over these touristy spots. Our tour was from 8 am to 6 pm. Highly recommend them. read more

Our driver was awesome. From the beginning, making our reservation online was super responsive and very clear. Love how they have specific information for those traveling with pets and incoming army personnel. I had a text from our driver on my phone right when I landed. We came from an international flight and he was very informative and upfront about what extra time would cost. Picking up our dogs from the animal quarantine was very long process and our driver was helpful and kind the whole time. We took way to long to leave the airport, bc of pets/army sign in/customs and even with the extra charge it was very reasonable. Joe called me at 9:20AM to let me know he was nearby and that he could pick me up anytime. I called him back at 9:45am and he was literally at the stoplight right next to my hotel. We booked three rides from go808 during our trip. The first two were great and went smoothly. Our last ride was to the airport at 6:15AM. Rodney, the driver arrived early at 6AM and texted me at 6:08Am that we need to leave immediately at 6:15AM. I came down with my daughter at 6:14AM and told Rodney my wife and son are coming down soon. My son was throwing a tantrum. Rodney told me that if they don't come down soon we have to call the company and book another shuttle. We already paid $120 for this shuttle. Can't he give us a little grace? This made things especially stressful because this shuttle was the most important. It's for our flight home. I asked Rodney to give us five minutes. He called the shuttle company and told them we are running ten minutes late. My wife and son came down at 6:18AM. Because the driver threaten to leave my family and make us call for another ride. I would not book this company again. An Uber or taxi driver would more preferable. Edit: The driver never mentioned a late fee of $1 per minute which I would have happily paid instead of being threatened to have a cancelled shuttle. I pretipped $25. read more

He was waiting on us when we arrived to HNL and a few minutes early when picking us up from the hotel back to HNL. It was great that he was on time.
