There's nothing worse than not finding transportation to the airport. Used to use roberts hawaii during past trips but very thankful I found Aloha airport shuttle on Yelp while I was here. Just wanted to add another 5 star review (rightfully earned) so it could help fellow Hawaiian travelers! Called 2 nights ahead for a 5:45AM pick up and the representative was very friendly and took my name and hotel pick up. We just paid cash to the driver. It was 30$ from Waikiki to HNL for 2 people. The driver was on time and called me about 10-20 mins before he was on the way. Give them a call if you need airport transportation especially since the island's uber and Lyft service are so sketchy right now due to the pandemic read more

Awesome ride to the airport! With concerns about parking at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, HI on Memorial Day weekend, we called Aloha Airport Shuttle less than 24 hours prior to our Sunday flight. Jay was awesome in taking our reservation for a 5:00 am pickup. I confirmed by email and he responded immediately. You know how you worry about your ride coming? Joanie texted me early to let me know she was on her way and arrived 5 minutes early. Van was new and really clean. (Don't be surprised when you see it's a Charley's Taxi.) Thanks to a lack of traffic we got to the airport in record time. It was a smooth ride and we felt safe through the whole thing. Price was a little cheaper than the Uber XL option I checked for booking in advance. And it was a fixed flat rate. We'll do it again! read more

I called to book a shuttle from Hauula to HNL, which is listed as $85 on their website. The dispatcher told me it would be $110. When I asked the difference he claimed that I was close to the PCC so he was charging me that rate, even though my house is in Hauula! This is totally shady, as they also list Laie as $100 on their website, which is between our house and the PCC. I found North Shore Shuttle actually honors their website price of $85 and would not recommend dealing with this shady business. read more

I was reassured a shuttle bus would pick me & my 2 kids up and I would NOT have to worry about any car seats. Some taxi driver came instead WITHOUT car seats. I tried to contact the business what had happened, also emailed to request to speak to a manager. No answer. Unreliability is stressful when you travel with 2 toddler twins who are in need of car seats. read more

I would highly recommend Aloha Airport Shuttle if you need a way to get to the airport. Making a reservation is simple. You can call or email them. I emailed them and Jay replied right away. On the day of our pick-up, I got a text letting me know who my driver was and when they would be here. They were prompt and we got to the airport in good time. When we returned, I texted them when we landed and they texted instructions along with pictures of where our driver was waiting for us. They communicate with you from start to finish and they're always courteous and friendly. read more

Whenever we need to use an airport shuttle service. Aloha Airport has been the best. They are very prompt, give you a reminder call a day before pick up and a text in the day you arrive if the pick up is at the end of your trip. We have used them over the years for domestic as well as international flights and we have never had problems with their service. The drivers we have had are always courteous, professional and drive effectively and efficiently. (This means giving adequate lead time to make your flight. We always add extra time, especially if we have to leave in the morning during rush hour traffic. If it's an airport run, Aloha Airport Shuttle will always be our first choice. Guaranteed. read more

My 84 yr old father-in-law really enjoys the upfront pricing and dependable service. He likes the confirmation calls so he knows he is not forgotten. I just call, give the dates and flight for dads pick up/drop off, get the flat rate quote and you're set. Easy. Cheaper than him parking in the airport lot. When he returned home at the airport, he called them and was directed to the shuttle location where they were waiting for him. Again, easy for him. Relaxing for me. He paid cash. Also, it was a direct ride both times, no sharing. read more

We booked with Jay at Aloha Airport Shuttle for drop off and pick up for our trip. Booking was done the "old fashioned way" with a phone call and a simple verbal confirmation. No tech issues, no hassles. Both drivers communicated in advance as promised. They were courteous and friendly, and their vehicles were clean. Knowing that all domestic travelers are going to Oahu this Summer, the Uber/Lyft are more expensive and give you a smaller cars and we consider we have lots of luggages with 10 people traveling, we called Aloha airport shuttle 2-3 weeks ahead of time to reserve the shuttle service. Chris gave us a flat price price for 10 people which is far cheaper than Lyft/Uber going to the Waikiki hotel. We arrived on 7/29 late evening, the drivers were already there waiting for us when we landed. They texted us the instructions/ directions where they parked. After we got the safe travel clearance and got all luggages, they were there almost 1 hr, they held a sign with my name. Two mini vans came and we felt we were greeted very well. If you don't want to wait in line for the taxi, or be in a Lyft/Uber (small cars), I recommend having Aloha airport shuttle to take care of you. read more

I highly recommend Aloha Airport Shuttle. Based on favorable Yelp reviews for Aloha (there were a few that weren't), I called Aloha the day before our flight to Honolulu and made a reservation for a ride to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. $35 (2 people) cash to the driver. When we landed, our driver Jon texted me to say where he was waiting for us. We exited the airport through Baggage Claim, walked a few minutes to the Pre-Arranged pick-up area, and Jon called over to us. Jon placed our carry-ons into the vehicle--a new minivan (Honda Odyssey?), very clean and tidy. Automatic sliding doors! He had the air conditioning on, which helped because Honolulu was humid that day. Very pleased with Jon & Aloha's service. read more

Although the service was on time, people were friendly and communication was timely. My ride home was in a van that was infested with baby roaches...they were crawling on the dashboard and even on some of us during the ride home. I leave this comment in hopes that they take better care of their vehicles and hold their drivers to a higher standard. Using this service again would be out of pure necessity. read more

This is the best, fastest and most efficient airport shuttle in all of Oahu. The best thing that I loved about using Aloha Airport Shuttle is that you call the number listed here and you get to talk to a real person. Jay helps set up everything and is super flexible and accommodating. The drivers I've encountered were prompt, friendly and gave us a great service! You also pay at the end of each ride so its super convenient. I will never use another airport shuttle when coming to Oahu. All the other airport shuttles I found were super unresponsive and online-reserved only. This is the best you're going to get, plus the prices are great! read more

We initially chose Aloha Airport Shuttle for the good price, as they are much cheaper than Uber or Lyft. We ended up using them 3 times on our vacation for their professionalism, aloha spirit, kindness and generosity. Our family of 4 had Brian as our driver for day 1, John for day 2, and Jay the owner for day 3 which consisted of a tour of the east side of the island. Jay took photos of our family and showed us fun things like the spot from the movie from Here to Eternity, where Tom Selleck lived as Magnum PI, and Dog the Bounty Hunter's old Da Kine Office (that one was our request :) Chris who sets up all the appointments is great too! He is clear, friendly, and he remembers you even though you only talk to him on the phone. We are so grateful to have found a perfect package car service. THEY DO NOT ONLY DO SHUTTLES TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT. Use them for all your needs! We recommended them to friends who went to Waikiki the week after us and will keep recommending. We've use Aloha Airport Shuttle three times now. Perfect service. They always call the evening prior to confirm pick up from our home and are always waiting outside a few minutes before the scheduled pick up time. And at arrival back at HNL, they're waiting just outside baggage claim. Very professional and prompt. Wouldn't bother with any other shuttle company on O'ahu. read more

They picked us up from our home and from the airport when we got back (they ask for your flight number so they can be there at the right time) Everyone was very friendly. Easy to book. Communicative and reliable! Excellent and clear communication when booking over the phone. Found this company the same day I needed to get picked up from the airport and they were able to accommodate with no problem at all. I had reached out two other shuttle companies days before and they were either booked or didn't respond! So thankful I found this company! We had Laurence as our driver and he was fantastic! . So I called Aloha Airport Shuttle to pick us up 7/3 with no issues. The driver was prompt and polite and text me with instructions on where to meet as soon As our plane landed. . Same week, I called the driver to pick up my daughter on 7/8, but he forwarded me the Aloha to call. Long story short, I called Aloha on the day of pick up and Mr rude guy with a thick accent tells me that he has been doing this for 10 years and I never called and my family did not show up on Sat? He will send a driver anyway. Long story short, 2 drivers showed up and my daughter was picked up by Honolulu Shuttle and the same rude guy started yelling at me. Two days before departure from Oahu, I called Honolulu Shuttle to schedule a ride to the airport. Day of departure, same rude guy called to inform me that no driver will show up. Fortunately I got a hold of Gina's King Shuttle ($45) who is also connected with private taxis in case their driver is running late. Uber was difficult to find on that day. Don't call Aloha Airport Shuttle or Honolulu as they are somehow affiliated. Price is $35 but comes with too much drama, unreliable ride, and definitely zero Aloha spirit. read more

A great transportation option from Windward Oahu. My wife and I have tried many options over the last twenty-five years with mostly disappointing results. Very hard to find a reliable, reasonable transportation option in Windward Oahu. A friend that lives in Kaneohe recommend Aloha. Our Aloha driver, Jay, picked up my wife and I at a scheduled time and place in Kailua and zipped us right to Honolulu Airport. Can there be 6 stars? Everyone is flocking to Honolulu and transportation is tricky right now. We only paid $35 for Jay to take us from airport to hotel at Waikiki. You need to ask specifically for Jay. He's knowledgeable and such a pleasure. When he picked us up to take us back to the airport he had Hawaiian snacks for us to take home. This shuttle was recommended by our vacation rental and we called ahead to book a shuttle from and to the airport on our trip to Honolulu. That process was easy. I don't know if Eric, our driver who was dropping us off to the airport was having a bad day but he was extremely rude to us the morning of our drop off. We were running a few minutes behind from a scheduled pickup time which I had already communicated to him. Upon seeing us, he was visibly annoyed and made a comment in a frustrated tone that we were already so late from the scheduled pickup (pickup was 6am, I had come down 6:11 am). When we were all in the van, Eric then told us that he was going to charge us $15 extra (he didn't tell me this when I had communicated our timeline with him earlier). I politely but firmly told him that we did not accept the extra charge. He then got out of the van and then opened all the doors and the trunk as if he was going to kick us out and take our luggage out. At this point, I was shocked at his behavior. I believed he was going leave us hanging outside our vacation rental right before our flight. I hadn't raised my voice at all and was extremely apologetic about being few minutes late--yet that was met with visible irritation and annoyance. He appeared to talk to someone on the phone and then came back in the van and changed his mind and said "nevermind, i'm not going to charge you extra". It was a terribly awful and awkward start to the morning. I have never been treated that way by a pickup service (shuttle or uber etc.) Regardless of us being minutes late, I don't know why he was so disrespectful to us. I can't imagine that this is the first time someone was minutes behind schedule. As you can imagine, the rest of the ride was so uncomfortable. The only reason I'm giving any stars is that our driver upon arrival (Chris) was extremely gracious, pleasant and nice. We had a wonderful experience with him. Unfortunately, the other driver had a terrible attitude and was disrespectful. Bottom line--I would say this company gives inconsistent service depending on the mood of the driver. We all felt uncomfortable and will not be using their services because of this. read more

Aloha Taxi Service was a life saver!!!! I was going to use Lyft or uber but when I read the bad reviews I found this service with transparent prices on their website. I called the night before, 12 hours before, I wanted to be picked up. They accomodated me, thankfully. I called them in the morning to come 30 min later than I requested and they accomodated me again and were very professional every step of the way. Thanks to Jay and his staff, I got to the airport safely and super fast with great conversation along the way. Thanks again for taking all my worries away! Aloha! read more

Because of this, we of course gave Wasa a very decent tip, but he deserved it due to all the inconveniences our delayed flight created and his professionalism when driving. Because of this, we decided to use Johnny Cab again the next day when we needed a ride from our hotel in Waikiki to our new hotel in Ko Olina. This time we were picked up by Johnny, who graciously came 30 minutes earlier than our scheduled pick-up time at 1:15pm, per our request. Unfortunately, the things I didn't like so much about Johnny was that he drove a little aggressively, almost tailgating another driver. Albeit this driver was in the fast lane, it wasn't something I expected from someone who drives for a living, and we never said we were in any rush to get to our destination. He also got visibly angry at some jaywalkers. I get it, when I drive and people jaywalk and block my car, I get mad too, but I also don't drive patrons for a living. Finally, we tried to make conversation with him, but the vibe overall was really off. It's hard to explain and maybe our personalities didn't mesh, but it was reason enough where we decided not to use his services again for our final ride. The other tax company we used to take us on our final day from Ko Olina to HNL was much more professional. You can see my review of them as well. When booking with this new taxi company, we received an email and text confirmation right after we booked our appointment. We didn't get any type of confirmation from Johnny Cab. Also, with the other taxi company, we also received a link by text so we can track our driver when he was on our way to us. Finally, the morning we were about to leave (at around 5am - our pick-up time was at 6am), we received a final text confirmation that our driver was coming. He even came 30 minutes early. After using the other taxi service, who charged the exact same price as Johnny Cab, I definitely won't be using Johnny Cab again and would rather use a more established and reputable taxi company. I think Johnny Cab is just a 1 or 2 man show, while the other taxi company has a fleet of over 100 taxis. Maybe we just got a good driver for our other taxi company, but they just seemed more professional overall.

We booked this company since we couldn't get reservation at Hanauma Bay. So this is the only option to enjoy Hanauma Bay with transportation BUT you still have to purchase Hanauma Bay tickets at the ticket counter BY YOURSELF. And depending on the time and hour, the wait can range between 30 minutes to 2 hours. So the point I'm trying to get across is BOOK YOUR HANAUMA BAY TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME so you don't have to purchase from any third party company. Second issue. is the driver. Unfortunately we had such a RUDE, IMPATIENT, and DISRESPECTFUL DRIVER, JAMES. I had two teenagers kids with me who unfortunately were late by 5 minutes by the time he picked us up. You know what he did/said? He made rude and degeratory comments, jokes all the way from the moment we sat down until he dropped us off. Also, this guy has a short temper problem for sure. The way he drives endangered the passengers. During the trip, somebody stopped in front of him and pissed him off. The guy ended up whipping out his phone and taking picture of him. Not long after that, two ladies were trying to cross the street, he didn't look carefully and almost hit them, then he got angry for no reason and gave them a hand. Those were just uneventful experiences that we witnessed along with 8 other passengers who sat inside the van. After reading all the one review from this company, there are some people who got irritated by the driver named James as well. I know I'm not alone. We still had an awesome time snorkeling in Hanauma Bay regardless this awful experience with the driver. Mind you we paid a lot for this transportation service for total of three people. But what's more painful is the feeling you received after someone made you feel less by his degeratory and sarcastic jokes in front of family and strangers.

We know the state now has a lottery that requires you to sign up 2 days in advance, and the tickets go quickly. We did not want to risk not getting to go, so we booked an excursion, as they are given spaces for their guests.I checked the reviews and choices and booked with Hanauma Bay Snorkel Adventures several weeks before our trip. We know that mornings are best for water clarity and calmer surf - and we've found the fish tend to be more abundant in the AM, so we booked the morning slot. We received emails and were told the van would pick us up at our Waikiki hotel at 5:40 a.m. We were waiting a few minutes, and then the van came to our hotel. We climbed in, and with 2 other couples and the driver, we were off in the dark. First stop was their dive shop - on the way, on the other side of Diamond Head. Snorkel gear was distributed (we brought our own), and then we climbed into the van and drove a short distance to the Hanauma Bay entrance. We gathered as a small group and went into the park together (you'll bring $25 cash each person for the Hanauma Bay ticket - not included in the excursion payment). There is a mandatory short movie (around 15 minutes) that is primarily a primer to keep the reef and marine life safe. We took the free tram down to the bay (you can also walk - a bit of a steep hill). They have bathrooms with changing stalls at the beach. We were on the beach as the sun's first rays shone across the bay - it was a beautiful morning. We got in 3 separate snorkel sessions going out into zone 2 (through the buoys and past the first reef) where it's deeper, and we saw greater numbers of fish. If this is your first time snorkeling or you are less experienced, I would caution you to check with the lifeguards on the beach before doing this.About 3 hours later, it was time to pack up, and we took the tram to the top, where we waited a few minutes with the group we traveled with in the morning. Our van showed up and drove us straight back to our hotel. We very much enjoyed the day, but honestly would have preferred to be on our own so we could choose when we wanted to leave. But for many who visit Oahu and stay in Waikiki, this is a good way to snorkel at Hanauma Bay. NOTE: I do see a number of reviews that speak of rude staff and substandard transportation. Fortunately for us, we did not experience any of that on our trip.
