We recently moved into a home that had numerous minor maintenance issues including a hole in an interior wall where a pipe had leaked. It turned out to be very difficult to find a drywall company to fix the hole so I gave Rich of Honor Handyman a call. Rich returned the call promptly, gave a reasonable quote, and showed up when he said he would. He did an excellent job with the drywall and charged us what he said he would. He also finished some work that a dishonest flooring contractor had abandoned. Rich was courteous, professional, honest, knowledgeable, competent, personable, responsible, and mature. After hiring various contractors over the years I've found these qualities to be somewhat rare. We scheduled some more work and Rich clearly communicated what he needed us to do in the way of preparation and what he would do. Based on my experience with Honor Handyman so far I would recommend him without reservation. Update: Rich came back to our home to work on the additional repairs we needed. Once again, he exceeded our expectations in every way. He fixed some broken siding on the exterior of our home, fixed two windows that were hard to open and close, fixed a vent cover, swapped out a dented doorknob, and a couple other things. My garbage disposal had stopped working (thanks to small metal objects lodged inside). Rich came the very next day and tried everything he could to avoid a replacement, which I very much appreciated. I came across Rich from Honor Handyman and totally worth it. We needed a washer water pan installed underneath the washer and connected to the drain pipe in our laundry room upstairs. Rich set up an appointment with me for the next day service, and finished the job in 1 hr. or little less. He was very professional, friendly and very nice. I would totally recommend him for handy work, my husband and I are thinking of using him for our future handy work needed around the house. We want to install hardwood floors upstairs including stairs, and we are definitely calling Rich for this job. I will definitely call him again, and would recommend to others. Every homeowner needs "a guy" (or girl!) -- that person who's your go-to on a certain thing, be it roofing, electric, plumbing, irrigation, the pool, trees, etc. We've been in our house a little over four years now and have played Yelp Roulette for various jobs. The casual racist window cleaner, the dirty plumber, the overly political windshield repairman, and so on. With Rich, I think we've found the answer to a lot of these problems moving forward. Highly recommended! We needed someone to install two bathroom fans and fix some grout in a rental property. Yelp to the rescue again! Rich came and installed two light pendants in tricky, hard to reach places. He was a real pleasure to have in the house, very personable and friendly. On completing the job I had an issue with how one of the lights was hanging, which was down to the the weak electrical box in the ceiling rather than his work; he suggested some caulking and it looked great afterwards. Refused to deviate from the quote he had given me over email, even though I thought perhaps the job took longer than foreseen and so I would have been happy to make an allowance for that. Was working on a kitchen remodel with Home Depot for over a month and got tired of the run around. They could do this but couldn't do that etc. I finally found Honor Handyman and Rich came out and was able to complete all of my needs immediately and at a fraction of the cost from Home Depot.
