The patty melt 66 was very good. An 805 beer is always good, the vanilla cheesecake with graham cracker crust was cheese -cakey but no vanilla taste. Unfortunately the dessert was not on the menu and when I discovered that slice was $11.25, I was truly not happy...it's going down as the most expensive slice in my life...so be sure to ask the price! 3 Years ago I would have given this a 5 star rating. I went in with about 15 people, the large tables that would sit us had 3 or 4 at each one, We were told that we could not move tables around to accomodated us. This is our favorite spot when we go to Oatman for the day, and when we RZR with a group of people. They are very friendly and take care of us well. We really like the wings and the Philly Sandwich. It is nice sitting outside during the winter season, and the drink prices are reasonable and the beer is always ice cold. Much better than the high prices at other places close by. read more

Had two of the best salads last night! The taco salad was full of incredibly flavorful taco meat. They did not skimp on portions. First visit...we arrived @ 1 P on a Sunday, and all the hard-guy Harley crowd had filtered in by 2. Waitress was very nice, friendly and took care of us, always good for 20-25% gratuity. However, the chicken quesadilla with guac was very mysterious...a side of sour cream would really have helped, and I had to ask for salsa- WHA? It had a strange, kind of "gamey" taste to it, was underwheming in both appearance and taste...like they'd slathered the tort in butter and pan-fried the whole shitaree. Greasy. Odd. We came in in May, and it was awesome. Came here just last weekend, and the ac does not run very well, and employees make sure you know that at least it's cooler inside than outside. Mgmt needs to work on air conditioning. We enjoyed our food but couldn't wait to dip out asap as all of us including other customers . Lesson learned. Don't come here in over 110-degree weather. Good food and good service. Food is fresh and delicious. There are plenty of drink options. A wide verity of whiskey to choose from at the Whiskey Bar located in the back. We stopped at Hooch's on our way to the Grand Canyon and harvest hosted there. First off, the spot was completely level which was great. We went into the restaurant for dinner and had the best experience! Our waitress Michell was amazing, super nice and made sure we have everything we need. Great little road side bar and restaurant in Topock! My husband has stopped in a few times with friends, but I this was my first time there. The inside is clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and talkative. There are a lot of locals and most of the patrons know each other, but it's a fun crowd. They have a Touch Tunes Juke Box so you can DJ your own party. Now, for the important stuff! They have a full bar and a decent beer selection. My husband said their mixed drinks are always a good pour. The have all of the domestics you would expect, but also a good variety on tap, including 805, Sierra Nevada, and one from College Street Brewhouse out of Lake Havasu City. The menu has a great variety and things are reasonably priced. I had the Cob Salad and was very impressed. Sometimes it is hit or miss when you order salad at small places...sometimes they are just day old romaine with a few shredded carrots, but that was not the case here. The greens were fresh. It was a real mixed salad! They didn't skimp on the goodies either. It had all the toppings. The dressing was good and served generously on the side. My husband had the Western Bacon Burger with fries and was very happy with it. It's his second time ordering it. He said the French Dip is also really good. Hooch's was subpar at best, I got a BLT without mayo with a side of fries, and a blood Mary, they put so much ice in the Bloody Mary that the amount of liquid was less than a shot glass. The BLT was more of an LT, the little amount of bacon was cold, the tomato was overwhelming, and the lettuce stuck out the sides, and the bread was toasted yet room temperature. WOW! What a fun place! First the bloody Mary's are insane! Order it spicy! Then the food - from scratch! I promise you! Still operating under COVID. Neat place that I stopped it while visiting the Pirate's Cove Resort. They have a veggie burger that's surprisingly delicious since I find most veggie patties bore me. Great flavors. The server was very sweet. Even though she was busy with her bar guests she made sure to take care of us and even apologized if she felt she took too long. We love accountability. A friend bought our meal but we still wanted to personally tip her so we had her ring some fries in for herself so we could tip her something. The fries and tater tots were also fantastic here! There aren't a lot of other options in the area, so it's awesome that this bar/grill is actually really good. We were the only POC there so some other patrons did stare a bit (just as a fair warning), but everyone was very nice. read more

Traveling on Route 66 to the Grand Canyon, we had no idea where to have lunch and took a chance on Hooch's. We're we glad we did! Friendly and welcoming, all the way down to the delightful decor. A "Used Beer" sign leads you to the restroom. Fun and happy! Best part: really good food!! How many roadside diners can make such amazing Cobb salads??!! Sandwiches and Taco salad absolutely delicious and satisfying as well!! I loved the added touch of fresh blueberries in the Blue Van beer that was on tap. Great experience.
