I was a bit intimidated at first when I walked in with my family since the art pieces are so delicate and the gallery was pretty quiet. Kim greeted us instantly and made us feel so welcomed -- and we set off to explore after learning a bit more about the gallery. The gallery is two-stories high, and you're able to get an AMAZING view of the Chihuly chandelier from the second-floor opening. The art pieces on display were incredible and featured artists like Martin Rosol, David Huchthausen, Lino Tagliapietra, and many others. It was my first time seeing a lot of their art up close and I would recommend coming to this gallery if you're interested in exploring different types of glass art. I wish I had checked in on Yelp for the free catalog! Remember to do that if you visit.

I brought my item to Certified Framing & Gallery and they put in new glass, repositioned/centered the lithograph, they appeared to have polished/cleaned the frame and put on a new backing with new wire and hardware to hang. They had it done within 3 days for around $40.00 Looks GREAT and I couldn't be happier. True professionals!

However, the matting and the glass in cheap frames leaves a lot to be desired. I brought everything here, and we worked out a deal where they would custom cut replacement matting, UV protection glass, and then attached the pictures to the matting. When we picked them up, we just had to reinstall everything in the frames we already had (which they confirmed we pretty good quality frames). We are very pleased with the results.

So many unusual and beautiful pieces of art in this gallery! A photographic piece including people walking with umbrellas was my favorite and my husband loved the photomosaics by Candice CMC that involved donuts. The Wit Gallery is definitely worth a visit while in Lenox.

Love the friendly atmosphere, and I got to meet so many creative people while practicing during the open studio hours. I do wish they had longer hours so it was more convenient for me schedule, but I understand this was mainly fitted around school-going children. They have a lot of cool workshops for kids, and the instructors are all very amazing from the art that I see the kids produce. There are so many different things they offer! They also allow adults a lot of resources and space to exercise their own creative projects, which I think is excellent. Everything is pretty reasonable, too! They had a variety of items--jewelry, souvenirs, framed prints of artwork, comics, maps, and something I found particularly unique: framed book spines. As we browsed, the employee working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we were initially on the fence about purchasing an art print, we ended up getting that along with some of the framed book spines. We recently returned to the area and decided to stop by again. This time, the owner was there, and he was just as friendly and helpful. A few years back, some coworkers had given me a gift certificate for the store after I told them about it. I had completely lost track of it, but the owner called his wife to see if she could locate any record of it--and within 10 minutes, they found it! We left the store with another large framed print, another book spine, and an enlarged, framed vintage train ticket from the Northeast Corridor. If you're ever in Pittsfield and looking for wall art or unique souvenirs at good prices, definitely stop by this cute store.
