She may have mentioned they moved up here when everything hit the fan in '20(?). Located in Lenox, MA, Craftsman carries metal, wood and glass pieces handcrafted by local artists. We kept our gifts very reasonable when we picked out something locally made in the Berkshires and settled on a vase for my Mom and another for my auntie-in-law. Irene was super kind and topped it even more when she delicately boxed and ribbon-tied our vases. While prices aren't completely accessible, each piece is unique in style and has a story behind it.

100% worth a visit if you're in Stockbridge!…read more I've been a fan of Chihuly's art ever since his exhibit at the NY Botanical garden, and have been dying to see some more of his art ever since. I was a bit intimidated at first when I walked in with my family since the art pieces are so delicate and the gallery was pretty quiet. Kim greeted us instantly and made us feel so welcomed -- and we set off to explore after learning a bit more about the gallery. The gallery is two-stories high, and you're able to get an AMAZING view of the Chihuly chandelier from the second-floor opening. The art pieces on display were incredible and featured artists like Martin Rosol, David Huchthausen, Lino Tagliapietra, and many others. It was my first time seeing a lot of their art up close and I would recommend coming to this gallery if you're interested in exploring different types of glass art. I wish I had checked in on Yelp for the free catalog! Remember to do that if you visit.
