Hooks Pizza is the best in Chillicothe. It's good if you can locate it. This is kind of far from the business district on Paint Street. It's literally up a hill. This is a carryout only. As the name indicates, this is on a hill. It's the big hill west of downtown. This is actually pretty easy to get to. Go west on Main Street until you get to the intersection at the hill. Then go up the twisting road. It will turn into 5th Street when you straighten out. The pizza place will be a few blocks past this. I had a vegetable sub. It's about $8 for a footlong. This comes with mushrooms, olives, and tomatoes. Hours can be weird so pay attention. On weekends it opens later. The place is small inside with no seats so it's only takeout. read more

Me and my father ordered a pizza from here when we received it they have messed up. They put onions on the pizza did not have onions when we called them they did say we can get a free one but it will cost five dollars for delivery or we could come get it from the restaurant and we asked if we could have our money back he said no you have to Contact whoever delivered you the pizza. read more

ONE Slow Service and disappointing food! I ordered food at 3:30 for delivery around 5pm. The driver came with food after 5:00 and with only part of my order. I waited another 45 min for her to bring my salad (so my family was finished eating) and my soda. The salad was supposed to be an Italian salad. I asked that the black olives be substituted with green olives. I got this very small side salad container with a partial salad in it and black olives. I called Hooks and was told to hold so I could talk to the manager and the same woman came back on the phone. I was looking for something different to try and was wanting pizza after a hard day at work. Quart my daughter will always go long with me if I say "lets just get pizza". I usually order pizza on line before I leave work so that limits my choices. We had driven to Hooks one time to find out they don't really don't have inside dining. I still wanted to try their pizza. I ordered a simple pep and cheese and it was delivered right when they said it was. Nice and warm ready to eat. The crust was simply wonderful, a thin pie like crust. Simply excellent. A good cheese blend of some kind, and a couple pepperonis. There was the problem. Hooks is so close to having a real winner here, just dont skimp on the toppings. Their pricing is up there with Christys and Dontaos pie's. Just compare a photo of Donatos pep pizza vs Hooks and you'll see the topping difference. When you have the best crust in the city, be proud of it , top it right and you'll have the best pie around. I order from here when the wife is tired and I look forward to their variety of food and I decided to get the 3 of us are favorites customized like to one Italian sub with no cheese, no ht peppers and no pepperoni which don't know when that started, and only Italian dressing, vinegar and oil and nothing else. Mine I usually get is the Mucho Nacho with extra sour cream and salsa but instead was delivered a taco salad and I just looked and it close to $2 less but I paid for the Mucho, and last a Ham & cheese sub without the cheese and only lettuce and Italian dressing and that's it but received the full thing including cheese and mayo. So the girls mad put food back in bag and put it on the kitchen table and went to bed. And the i called Hooks and the girl said the manager just went home and this was to be a treat after spending the past 10 days in ICU at OSU (No Covid) and just getting put on hospice at home only to throw money away for food I didn't order like the salad or getting the subs the way we wanted and not like a suggestion. We had seen signs for Hooks before, an drove up the hill to check it out. This place sets on a corner lot in a residential neighborhood, which isn't a bad thing, especially if it's your neighborhood.
