We had our son's first birthday here. It was a very positive experience. The decorations all done by the venue exceeded our expectations. We had a private party, and the venue to ourselves which was totally wonderful for us and our family and friends. Some things to consider: I read through everything and in the middle of the party, we were asked for plates and cutlery for the adults. We had read through everything, and there must have been some miscommunication about that because we weren't aware we needed to bring that. Also, the structure of the party and a schedule provided to us would have been a nice addition. The two hour party went by so fast, we blinked and it was over, so having a small schedule would have been nice. So many memories were made here. The decorator is OUT of the WORLD! They were closed even though their website showed they were open. We drove 35 minutes with a 2-year-old for nothing. Imagine explaining to an excited toddler why she couldn't go in--she cried for 15 minutes while we drove to another place, which honestly had a much better layout and customer service. read more

Very clean establishment with punctual and helpful staff. We have been going to Hooray playground for several years when we are in Houston. My toddler and I love the consistent fun experience. Everyone is extremely courteous and helpful. We have a punch card membership that is an excellent value for those that plan on frequent playground trips. We had our son's 3rd birthday on 8/3 at Hooray and it was simply amazing!!! Tiffani and Geydi were just wonderful to us. We arrived late and they helped put our items up super fast. They did all the balloon decor and set up the tables. First year I haven't had to be stressed all thanks to them! Tiffany and Geydi were on it they made sure everything ran smoothly and handled the food as well as the cake cutting. I'm extremely grateful and plan on doing our birthdays there in the future. Definitely came here super excited only to have felt bamboozled. It's not the cleanest. Lacking in upkeep. Your child (possibly 4 and under) will still find themselves entertained but do not have high hopes -socks only was not being enforced -a lot of broken/missing items in play sets offered -broken gym fixture that are just stored on the side of the big jungle gym but still very accessible to children (a couple of chairs on the outside of the gym and a large barrel) this area could have easily been blocked off if they needed it for storage -dusty (I'm sure it's hard to upkeep a large gym but it was everywhere) -trip hazard on the mats in the jungle gym area and on the video interactive floor (mats were starting to bulge up in some places and the interactive floor is literally being held together by tape) Also, we came here on a slow day and one of the storage doors were kept open. My child was able to access it which could have been dangerous if nobody was watching. Still pretty new to visiting kids places (and tired parents will take what we can to entertain the little ones for awhile) but it doesn't mean they too should settle for mediocre play. read more

Drove up... and drove off. This place is specifically designed for infants and children under 6. If you have kids older than this, honestly this isn't the place for you. I gave 2 stars because they semi misrepresent this place online. I honestly don't know how kids would like to be in here for all day play. I walked in and thought it looked boring.. but again for smaller children it may be ideal for a quick play date... so the owner reached out and asked I elaborate on my review and explain why I feel it's misrepresented. So... here we go The website states this is for children 10 months to 10 years of age. I had children with me ranging from 2-10 yrs and all the children over 5 looked at me like, seriously what are we gonna do here?? So again it's misrepresented because this place is 100% designed for a younger/smaller child. Hope this helps because I drove out of my way to come here and when we got here we had to reroute and went to inflatable Katy. Small indoor playground for little ones. This playground is specifically for the younger ones, maybe less than 8 years old. Age limit is up to 10 years old (or 50 inches tall). The staff were nice and friendly. The left side is a cozy cafe where you can buy snacks and drinks, middle part is for smaller children and the right side is where all the fun activities are. The place is clean but wear and tear are visible. The fee is a bit pricey for a small play area. I paid $12 something dollars for 1 toddler. I don't like the fact that socks were not strictly reinforced so I am taking 1 star. Aside from that, this place is good for your little ones to spend an hour or two. I may or may not comeback. Very disappointed at Hooray this weekend. The roof of the play area was ripped (see the attached pics). An intrepid child could climb up on the mesh and go out over the edge. A drop of about 20ft. I spoke to two people there about it. The first hardly understood English and the second didn't care and was more interested in checking people in than the safety of the kids. The owner here is a nice guy and I asked the people there for his number as I could see the people actually working didn't seem to appreciate the danger the kids were in. They wouldn't give me his number hence having to post this here. read more

In regards to Vannak K. Review: I am the friend that was spoken about in this review and everything that was stated was accurate. I made it very clear to the person working I was not with the playgroup and was meeting a friend there both to the person working as well as the playgroup leader. I was greeted by the leader of the playgroup and was told to come in and that I was welcome. When I noticed after my friend walked in there was an issue, I packed up my kids and left after she told me she wasn't allowed in. I was very uncomfortable in the situation and will not be returning to this business. This is our current go-to when the kiddos need to exterminate some energy but it's just too hot outside. I really enjoy the space. It's big enough for it to feel like an adventure for the kids but small enough to put me at ease and not make me feel like I'll lose them if I turn away to sneeze. It's pretty clean required shoe covers to enter the play area. A lot of seating available throughout the play area. We rolled in on a weekday around noon, and it was not busy. There were about a dozen kids age 6 and under.. kids older than that may get a bit bored. If they had all the bouncy balls and shooters and ball dump, maybe older kids will be more involved. Careful, those shooters are really loud and can unsettle infants. It may be minimally set up due to covid. The check in was quick and easy. The staff was really nice. The place is on the cleaner side. There's a common variety of snack if you don't come prepared. Fun place to bring the kiddos with lots for them to do. It big enough that adult can climb up to help the littlest kiddos too. They even offer discounts if you buy multiple entries (say a 10 pack or 20 pack) The drawbacks? They are constantly renting the place out or holding events, and either won't let you in or won't let you use the entries you've paid for. Today, for example, I brought my little girl here because all she wanted to do for her birthday was to play here with her sister. Her BIRTHDAY. They were holding yet another event (meet the character - my kids couldn't care less about this) and wouldn't accept our prepaid entries. It was $20 per kid and we could only stay for 1.5 hours before we would have to leave. Though we've come here for years, they wouldn't make any exceptions or help us out at all. There were only 2 other kids there... and we were told that we should have checked the website. Horrible. My daughters cried the whole way home. It's not the first time. Great place to escape the houston heat on a July day if you don't mind loud noises. Has a toddler space and preschool/bigger kid space. My 6 yr old had a great time. My major complaint (which knocks this down to a 3 star review) are the "air soft" guns that they have in the 3-6 yr old kid area which shoot tennis ball sized soft balls. They have 4 (two of which are broken) and when they are shot they are extremely loud. My 4 yr old is very sensitive to loud noises, and he spent the time either with his fingers in his ears or crying. Definitely do not bring your kid here if they are on the spectrum. Also i don't think the concept of kids shooting soft balls at smaller kids is a good idea. And at the very least they could have sold ear plugs, but unfortunately they do not. My three kids, ages 4, 3 and 1.5 love this place!!! I love it just as much! It is never busy....just the way we like it! We come at 10 when it opens and can stay most of our day here! Our 3 year old boy loved this place! I think it's most appropriate for 2-5 year olds as a lot of the activities include slides, swings, "cannon ball guns", and a ball "dumper". There's an interactive projector game that he loved as well. I felt like I was able to keep an eye on him and he was still able to explore and enjoy independent play with me in eyesight/earshot. Sunday was crazy busy. Also it was 100 degrees outside so it limits what most parents can do with their kids. Overall would totally come back. There's a lot of package deals that give you a discount. If you live close and come often I think it would be worth it. For us, since we live about 25 minutes away we got the one day play which was $15 and it included the little guy and myself. read more

So this happened today 8/4/21. My wife and child were going to meet a friend there for a playdate. The business didn't tell anyone that there was a private gathering going on this morning until they opened for the day and posted on Facebook same morning, my wife had made reservations the night before as they planned on going at opening. My wife's friend arrived a little earlier and was permitted to enter the facility no questions asked of her. My wife arrives with our child who has a darker complexion than the other kids there and is denied entry. There must've been a mistake because my wife had made reservations the night before like I mentioned and has an Entry Pass as well. So picture a room full of blond ladies with their kids allowed into a business and then the brunette lady at the front desk telling my wife and 2 year old they aren't allowed entry because it's a private event. Picture my wife staring in disbelief as her blond friend's child is allowed to go play with the other kids. Things get very awkward as they finally realize that my wife's friend isn't part of this private party, and was only allowed in because she looked like everyone else attending this private event. She even said that she wasn't here for the private event and she was here to meet a friend, my wife, for a playdate. This may have been a mistake but the staff assuming the friend is allowed while my wife and kid aren't just looks a lot like discrimination. Hopefully my 2 year-old won't remember this morning as she is being lead away by her mom asking why she can't play with her friend in the store. i am extremely upset with the way the situation panned out. Hooray should've posted earlier about the private party, put a sign up or something to avoid this humiliating situation. We have been a couple times and my 3 and 6 year olds had a blast every visit. There is a vacuum that sucks up the balls and a button the kids can press to drop the basket down below which my kids loved, also the cannons that launch the balls and they can compete with the other cannons. There is also a large 2 story play area with lots of obstacles and slides so they can really run around and have fun while getting lots of exercise! Highly recommend you bring your kids by and parents can have a seat in the snack bar area where they also sell coffee and healthy snacks or you can enjoy the fun with your kids. My kids really enjoyed our visit on a Tuesday morning to Hooray indoor playground. We stayed for several hours and they had so much fun and freedom. My girls are 4 & 7 and they are the perfect age for this indoor playground. My two year old nephew also joined us and there was a section perfect for his age as well. Wonderful alternative on a hot Texas summer day. They have an age limit which is great so bigger kids don't trample the littles. My girls loved it so much they begged to come back so we made another trip on a Saturday afternoon and while I expected it to be too crowded, it was actually not too bad. Don't waste your time taking your child to this place. I walked in there on a Sunday afternoon so my 4 year old could have some indoor time since the temperature was super hot outside. Once I walked in, a staff member told me it was closed due to a private party, which couldn't have been more than 30 people in there, it's a very small place. Being disappointed at the time it was the best thing that happened to us, because we ended up going to Urban Air at Katy, which the admission was about the same as Hooray Indoor playground. Urban Air is 50 times bigger, more things for your child to do to have fun and you don't have to worry about not getting your child inside to have fun due to a private party. read more

My children LOVE this place. It is clean and loads of fun. After speaking with the owner we learned more about how intentional the design is. They have a background in child development and created play structures to help limit children's fear of heights and also loads of sensory play. It's also nice how both my 2 year old and 7 year old are able to safely play in the same structure but there is a structure available for smaller children to feel more apart and comfortable if they don't want to play with the older children. read more

My son absolutely loves this place however after our last visit, which was just after opening time, I can only give it 3 star. 1. Most of the balls were trapped underneath the equipment, my son has an obsession with balls at the moment. I tried to retrieve some only to get covered in thick dust. A sure sign that the balls are perhaps never retrieved after a day of play. 2. The wheel peg wall has only a few wheels available to play with, the majority are trapped under the slide, I couldn't retrieve those. 3. The mat that the interactive projector projects onto is slipping apart due to the adhesive tape no longer sticking. I had to push the pieces together after my son tripped. 4. The ball vacuum was broken, what a pity, the kiddos love this. I'm hoping all these issues will be rectified soon, so we can go back to giving Hooray 5 stars!!! Update: We visited Hooray. Once again my son loved it. Thank you for dealing with all the issues mentioned above. One thing I have to mention after our visit is how difficult it is for the Hooray staff to get the kids to stop putting other objects into the ball vacuum especially the plastic wheel pegs. Perhaps the peg wall should just be removed. It appears to be more entertainment for the parents. I have built many creations, only to await destruction by little hands!! read more

Pros- nice staff. It was smaller than the pictures depict. The activities are packed into a small space, so if there are a lot of kids, it gets cramped. It was hot inside. I wasn't even running around, but I was sweating. Please turn the ac down. Even a degree or two would help. A good dusting is needed under the structures. This is more suitable for a walking kid. A crawler can still have fun chasing the balls though. I would take my kid back but I hope it's cooler next time. . read more

We went for our first time on a Friday afternoon with my children 2 &5 yrs. I was so disappointed that they charge $12.99 after 3pm on Friday. This information is not updated in their website. How can you tell your kids no when you already there. Also, it does not says it required socks. It turned out a bit pricey for the average place. It is relatively small and some people were walking with their shoes on inside when is supposed to be socks only. The toddler area is ok but not the best. My children had fun, but after 1 1/2 they were ready to go. Do you think we would like to go again? My answer is No. read more
