Nobody that works here, acts like they want to work here. I sat at the bar and had one of their nasty drinks while I waited for my food. 50 minutes later I decided to leave since my food hadn't come out yet. A big guy came out and focused on being intimidating and doing the minimum. After I explained what had happened he flexed his muscles and asked if I wanted a refill. I asked him if he believed I had been treated appropriately he grudgingly acknowledged I hadn't. I asked for the bill. He begrudgingly removed the cheese sticks. In the process of running my credit card he stopped to have another conversation. Since he does not even care, I will not be back. We ordered the 5-piece chicken tenders and 10-piece shrimp, both hot-flavored and double-dipped for extra saucy goodness. Went to this Hooters a few weeks ago on a Saturday night with my teenage son, and the service was slow and shitty. Waited 45 mins+ for 10 wings and tater tots. When I asked to speak with the manager, our server got annoyed and brought out the manager dude, "M", who was rude and defensive, saying that it's a busy night and everyone is waiting for their food. He also started swearing at us and acted more defensive. Hey M -- are you saying the restaurant THAT YOU MANAGE is so unprepared that it can't handle a night that YOU SHOULD KNOW is typically going to be busy? Guess Manager M was overwhelmed. I asked for a discount due to the long wait for our meals, and Manager M said he would have to give a discount to everybody, then. When I told him that I'll never return to this Hooters, he basically didn't care. So, Hooters of Oak Lawn, congrats -- I'd come here frequently but never again. Was helped today by a waitress named Nina. Extremely excellent customer service, they even helped me charge my phone! Theres gaming available which is a perk, and everyone working seemed cheerful enough where it wasn't off putting. Clean restaurant and welcoming people means to me a returning customer! Arissa was phenomenal! I couldnt ask for better service and better cooperation once we became needy! The new management clearly has the wrong ratio butter for sauce and menu is trash compared to what it was, but she was willing to adjust anything she could to make it as good as we were expecting. She explained the reasoning in a professional manner...so i was less irritated and more annoyed but once i had custom adjustments. My daughter and her friend were on wait list at longhorns but the front desk cancelled and as disappointed as they were. My daughter loves steak; they opted for Hooter's. Excellent choice!!! They said the food wings with Thai sauce were excellent!!! The staff was friendly and the ambiance was fun and happy and loving it was after all Valentine's Day. They gave them complimentary cupcakes (who doesn't like a sweet treat). This definitely made up for the bad experience at Longhorns. We absolutely LOVE the fried pickles at Hooters, so we decided to give this location a go. The hostess walked us to a dirty table & had us wait while she cleaned it. They were not busy. Our server took exceptionally long (10min+) to come greet us/ take our order. Fried pickles, two shrimp lunch specials & ten bone in wings (we were $1.19 for each dipping sauce which was weird to me). Food was okay at best, pickles were fried really hard but I was hungry & I don't send food back so I just kept eating. The wings were good until we saw a bug crawling around the plate! I instantly felt nauseous/ couldn't finish my food. I stopped a random server, showed her and asked her to get our server. After a short wait, our server came and acted as is she didn't know wtf was clearly on the plate. She then said she'd go show her manager (named DJ); she came back (not DJ) and relayed a message from DJ saying that "it doesn't look like a bug" and asked if we wanted anything else. How disappointing that DJ couldn't come over, apologize personally, etc. We will never, ever come back to this location. Like ever. P.S. Haven't been to Hooters in quite some time but decided to try to get some today. Ordered online and paid with credit card. Pickup time was 705pm. Got there at 710 and there were 10 people already in carry out entrance. 715 girl walks behind register and says it will take 45 minutes to an hour for all orders. I told her I wanted my money back. Said she couldn't do it would go get a manager. Came back saying all managers were busy. I wasn't waiting for ever. Just didn't want to deal with all of the people waiting for their orders. I visited this Hooters location on October 2nd 2020. I was highly unsatisfied with my order. Due to Covid 19, you have to make reservations online to eat inside the restaurant. Hooters is only accepting orders online, and no phone orders. Online they do not give clear ordering or pick up instructions, so the process is a bit chaotic. When arriving at the restaurant, there were lots of people everywhere. The parking lot was full, and there was nowhere to park, so I ended up parking on a side street. There was a long line of people waiting outside to pick up their orders. The customer service was decent, and the employees were wearing their masks. The food was prepared quickly, in about 25 minutes. When we arrived, I noticed that the fries were plentily, but they were disgusting. They were cold, stiff, and tasted stale. These fries were not freshly cooked at all, and they had no grease on them. They were old as ever!!!!!!! Moreover, the chicken pieces were small, and didn't have much meat on them, but the sauce was good so that is a positive. I probably will never visit hooters again. Might be one of the worst Hooters in the state. We ordered a $90ish dollar meal for 4 people at 4:30. for pickup. Not only did we wait until 6:00 to actually get the food, but they got everything in the order wrong, so we had to wait another hour for them to correct the mistake, and that's not my only complaint. There was hair in the hot wings, of which (according to my sister) were terrible anyway. The bread on the hamburger was hard, which is insane to me how do you even manage that in a restaurant? The fries were cold as hell and were soggy. Didn't even give us the funnel fries we ordered. When I say it is a complete waste of time and money to order food from here, I mean it. Food sucks too, just make the extra trip to Orland Park. That Hooters is lightyears better. Update: Day after, my stomach is fucked up... My boyfriend, 8 year old son and I came in today to have lunch. We walked in and waited at the door for about a 2 min before one of the waitresses came over and said "may I help you" not in the most friendliest voice. She walked us over to our table and started to do a quick "wipe" with her hand. We started with some appetizers and drinks (she did not card for the drinks). For the drinks we had the Perfect Patron Margarita which was very good. Even though they were out of the Ciroc it was still pretty good. We also had the strawberry lemonade cocktail and that was good as well. Appetizers were bone in hot wings and the lots of tots. The wings were good. Typical hot wings. My boyfriend really liked his lots of tots which are basically loaded tater tots. He also had the fried shrimp tossed in Buffalo sauce and he liked those the most. Dinner consisted of the BBQ bacon burger for me with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles and it was very good. My boyfriend had the Daytona naked wings which he really liked. My 8 year old just had the 4 piece wings with fries. Forgot to mention that their curly fries are very good. The service could be a lot better. I was there yesterday 8/15/24 9pm I was treating my best friend to dinner and this is the place she chosen. The waitress Delilah tried to steal my change of $15. She never came back with my change. I had to ask her for it and she handed me $4. I pulled out my calculator on my phone to show her the simple math. She said she assumed that I was giving her all of it. I told her that not how it works and told her she is supposed to give change back and let the customer tip what they can afford to give u. The food was delicious. Our waitress, Reggie was such a pleasure. She was sweet and attentive. Our son, Jameson, is 7 and they had a lovely conversation. We were there for my mom's 60th birthday. The person that figures out how to successfully package and deliver fried food stands to make millions. The employees at my shop wanted Hooter's for lunch, and since I've always been a fan of their wings, who was I to argue?!? We ordered online - and the process went surprisingly smooth. We ended up ordering a substantial amount of wings and fries, and the food ended up being ready right on time - which was also nice. An associate named Jocelyn was working the pick-up counter, and she was great. She went over the order, made sure we had plenty of napkins, wipes and utensils, and the food was steaming hot. I am trying to watch calorie intake, so I ordered myself The Hooters salad with grilled chicken.. The salad itself was meh, but I can't even ding them on the quality of the salad because I'm the dork that ordered the salad from Hooters. The only issue with the rest of the food speaks directly to the first sentence of my review. It's not even really Hooter's fault?!? No matter how it's packaged, fried food just doesn't travel well.. the wings were meaty and tasty.. but they were also lukewarm and soggy. The curly fries suffered the same fate, and IMO were basically inedible. This Hooters has gotten some pretty bad reviews, and truth be told, the last experience from this particular store was not good. We're we're overcharged for our food and the wings and shrimp were really under sized. This is the only Hooters close to my work, and the boys wanted wings, so this was my only option. Placed a carry out order from Oak Lawn Hooters. The breading was falling off the shrimp and wings and several items were missing from the order. I called and talked to the manager (Leo) that told me i would have to drive back with the entire order before he would do anything about the missing items. If I could gI've this place a 0 for food qualification and customer servic;e; I would. I purchased some wings, kids meal, and a side salad with extra dressing. When I got home; the food was cold. I only live about 5 minutes away from their location; this means it wasn't hot when I received it; I called and spoke to a Manager by the name of Jason.
