Ordered the fried pickles. Presentation was unexpectedly good and quality was up there. Impressed overall with the food here shoutout to the cook for hooking me up. Devoured in 2 mins.

Came here on a Friday night for the first time and it won't be the last. Donna is an attentive, kind bartender/server. Phil made us some great bacon wrapped peppers, tacos, and chips with salsa (all which are freshly made to order). We had some pizza too. The space is also very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms have been remodeled and were pristine. That says a lot. The people there seemed to be regulars and my party had a great time.

    A sign worth finding.

The sign may read "Casual Dining", which it is, BUT "casual" never tasted so good. Chef Phil, an alum of the Hancock's 95th Floor Signature Room, has brought his talents and creativity to the South Side. DELICIOUS and plentiful. The place is clean and spacious, so you can find an intimate corner or a section for a group gathering; a stool at the bar or one by the slots, or a table where billiard's played. Warm, welcoming and fun, that's BRICK TAVERN. Don't think about it, GO!

The prices are excellent, staff is nice, the food is awful. My wings were black and burned. The fried mushrooms, sauces, fries lacked flavor and salt. The egg rolls were good, hence the one star. The cook supposedly worked on the 95th floor at the Hancock building; he cares about food and presented himsef and the food well, however, the food should be seasoned. Quiet and chill atmosphere.

Great service and food. Quiet place with a nice outdoor area. The crowd is hit or miss.

Typical neighborhood bar. Nice outdoor area. Food is good- especially the egg rolls, cheese sticks and poppers.

We loved the pot roast poutine and again, the pizza was my fave. The service was fine, the staff was busy and running around. But friendly when we did see them. The ambiance is what you'd expect from the location and type of establishment. No big surprises. I'll go back for the pizza when I'm in the area.

This review is one that should've been done a very, very-LONG time ago. We've been coming to this…read morefine establishment for 4+ years. Since then, we've had the privilege to sample quite a few items on the menu- and can't say that one was mediocre or needing improvement. One of their top appetizers would be the pot roast egg rolls- mouth watering, filling and very satisfying. However, today I'd like to talk about their breakfast menu and the service that makes your meal even better. We've come to the conclusion that Clancy's (on 103rd) is by far our go to breakfast place- no questions asked. Dana, who is the opener, manager, bartender, server & class act- is who makes us keep coming back. You know she cares about her clientele- always greets us by our first names-she knows what we drink- remembers it- and has our breakfast orders memorized, as well. Of course, she verifies if we're doing the same- and of course- we always do. If you haven't met her- you probably should- great sense of humor- the sarcasm is on point and an overall- real, down to earth, kind person to start your morning with. . Clancy's is lucky to have her on their team. On to the breakfast.. The pot roast hash is what I order..EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The pot roast is cooked to perfection- comes with potatoes, onions. two eggs (I choose over-medium), toast (I recommend the sourdough- which they get fresh from the bakery next door), and then complete this dish with a Guinness gravy. I can promise you that this favorite breakfast of mine is also a generous portion-They really do hook it up and trust me...you will want whatever you don't finish for later. Keep it up, Clancy's!!!My husband and I will continue to advocate your establishment. You're greatly appreciated.
