This is hands down the WORST hooters ever. Took about 45 mins to get seated while the restaurant was empty, another 30 mins to have a server come up to you once you're seated, and about a hour to wait for the food.. the restaurant is disgusting, no one picks up tables apparently. MUST WEAR A MASK signs everywhere but the servers or cooks don't wear one and just yell over the food... finally got the food and the quality was terrible. Stay away!!! read more

By FAR the best Hooters I've been to! The food is always delicious, and is a cut above just about everything else at the I-95 and 204 exit. Trust me, your choices are Hooters, Cracker Barrel, or Waffle House if you want a sit-down meal with a server. They're known for their wings of course, but the specialty tacos are a secret home-run choice. I'll order a Build-Your-Own Burger if I've skipped breakfast-it's steak house level and I choose the brioche bun w/ Monterey. Prices are great-it's hard to spend more than $15 on a plate and some entrees are as low as a number 5 at the nearest fast food place. Jessica the manager runs a tight ship and keeps the place clean and organized. The young ladies who wait the tables and bartend are mostly college girls from local Georgia Southern campuses in Savannah and Statesboro. Aside from just the often lauded beauty of Hooters servers, they're all friendly and well spoken and help provide a laid back environment where it's ok to have actual conversations, join in on cheering for the sports teams, and even meet new people and families dining at the same time. NOT mechanical and rushed like so many understaffed restaurants these days. It's right next to the Indian motorcycle shop and an easy no-hassle stop just yards from the exit. Great location just off of I-95. Our group stopped here on our return trip from Florida and the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant. The is an older property. Their walls still have framed copies of Hooters Magazine covers from over a decade ago! Facility looks like it hasn't had any renovations in some time. Our Hooters Girl was friendly and conversational. Food was served promptly and was enjoyable. The bathrooms were deplorable. Men's room trashcans were full and overflowing, with wastepaper scattered across the floor. The report from our female in our party was that bathroom was bad too. We were apprehensive to go to this location on our trip due to the overwhelming amount of negative reviews. But the service was good, food was good, and atmosphere was friendly. The hostess greeted us right away and got us sat. Our server was with us in a timely manner, and food came out quickly. I never leave reviews but I have to warn people of the lack of quality of this place.. I thought initially it was because I'm a woman and assumed that I won't tip as well as an all male party, but after speaking with co workers that have gone, I realize that's not the case. You will spend a minimum of two hours there on a good day. Your food will always be the worst possible quality. I showed up at 11pm and the the restaurant closed at 1am. When I walked in I was not greeted by a hostess as I was told she was sent home earlier. There were several college football games on and the noise level was VERY loud. I've been to many other Hooters and the TVs were a lot louder than necessary. I stood at the front looking like a fool for about 4 mins. Several male patrons looked at me and then told me to seat myself. Finally Iman came over with her bubbly self and greeted me with a hug. She was amazing from the beginning. She kept my diet Pepsi filled and she interacted with me. The interaction wasn't just a "what can I get you?" Kind of thing it was more like "I am so glad you're here and I don't even notice what time it is and you're important" kind of interaction :) The food, pickles, buffalo chicken sandwich and curly fries were PERFECT!! For being so close to closing everyone was on point and it was refreshing. Curtis was manager on duty tonight and he went above and beyond trying to find me something I wanted to purchase. As an out of towner he said he would make sure to sit one aside when I come through in a couple days. If it wasn't for standing at the front and feeling like a fool this would've been a perfect visit. The decor is up to date and renovated and the bathroom is out of date. Who cares about the bathroom? I give this 4 stars for the location. I stayed in a hotel nearby this 95 exit-mini-city and reading the reviews of other places around here, this seemed to be the best. I brought my whole family here, including my grandma, on a Sunday night and were surprised by the large and loud crowd in house for Sunday Night Football (I should have realized this). (BTW, there are over 20 TVs, great place for any sport game). The overall experience was pleasant. Although it was a little loud, the food was great. Speaking on behalf of both myself and my family, the seafood chowder soup was very good, my wings were HUGE! and very good. The cheesesteak was tasty. Our waitress was very nice and even the manager came by to say a friendly hello. If you're with a grandma and are considering hooters, use your judgment. I have eaten pickels in other hooters and I have to say that they are not any where near as good as the ones here. We were so disappointed on our last visit to Hooters in Savannah. It seems like this particular restaurant has been going slowly downhill. The last time we were there, about six months ago, we stood in the lobby for almost thirty minutes waiting to be seated. Not one waitress or manager came over to greet us, let alone seat us. We finally left, along with several other parties and went to Spankys! We decided to go back on Memorial Day and try again. After waiting for twenty minutes, a server came over to finally seat us. When our food finally did arrive, it was cold! Awful!! None of the staff were wearing masks and no precautions were being made for prevention of the spread of Covid. Myself and a friend went here for lunch today , our server's name was Keeley , after serving our food she disappeared. I asked another waitress if she could get her twice , trying to get drink refills. When we got the bill , we were both charged an upcharge for waffle fries after she told us we could substitute them I asked her if she knew the difference in substituting and an upcharge and she said no I told her I've been a server for 31 year's so I explained the difference and her response was "my bad " I paid the bill & left & you can bet she didn't get tipped & as a server I over tip a good server but she could have cared less. It wasn't so much that she didn't know the difference , it was her response & the fact she disappeared & the other server could have cared less also When I was going to my car , I saw her hanging on the deck chatting with guy's. Currently sitting at this restaurant, we have been here over an hour. The issues began as soon as we walked up to the hostess stand. We asked for a booth and the hostess disappeared for awhile to go and find a booth. The waitress is apologetic but her co-workers are no help. There's one girl at the bar and she is not pushing out any alcoholic beverages to anxiously waiting patrons. Our poor new waitress goes to ask her for the drinks and gets shooed away by said bartender. We ordered the kid's food so it could come out first and here we are 40 minutes later and it comes out with the rest of the food. Come on hooters get the service together. This restaurant is going to hell with gasoline drawers on. They are out of wings because the refrigerator broke and had to discard all of the food Yet they are still selling boneless wings and chicken sandwiches. The air conditioning is out and they are always short staff. The server even told me they were out of silverware. I was in there a few weeks ago to pick up a carry out order only to get an empty restaurant at 9 pm to be told the kitchen had to be shut down due to an emergency. The manager David which I don't think was his real damn name, wrote his name on my receipt and offered me a free meal when the kitchen reopened but I am not able to redeem that offer because no one in the restaurant knows the manager David. I had to wait 15 minutes for a seat because they only had two servers and one of the servers was "just sat" by the way there were only 6 tables seated at this time and the other server was sitting on her ass at a table entertaining a customer. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the other staff friendly . That said the food was very slow coming out and then when we got it, it was cold. Although it tasted good still, it was not hot and after waiting that long disappointing. Seems like a lot of mismanaged teens... The hostess' boyfriend was hanging out at her stand with her most of the night which is awkward for customers coming in-that was our first impression. Our waitress Skylar seemed friendly enough, but was very distracted and/or just not at all interested in couples type customers -we realize the entire chain is aimed at men, but men don't always go out without their wives. She ignored us and the couple seated behind us, while she stood talking to the male customers on either side of us. The couple behind us sent food back and tried to pay their bill at the hostess stand because Skylar just never came back. We experienced the same problem when she finally did bring the bill, we had to call her back over to cash it out. Terrible service is tolerable sometimes if the food is worth it-in this case it though, it definitely was not. Wings came out late, no sauce, tough chicken. We'd already waited too long or we would've sent it back-plus we knew it'd come back with spit or smthn. Looked like the manager was making the rounds, but he never checked on us. 2 stars for the service, cleanliness , and general lack of good food. Stopped in while passing through town because all Hooters should be similar with decent bar food and service. This was not the case with this Hooters. The service was pretty bad considering the server only talked with two of the three sitting at the table. In fact, I'm not sure she even looked in his direction while taking the order. She did drop off a new water after asked twice, though. The buffalo chicken sandwich that I had was decent but it was your typical fried chicken sandwich with sauce poured on top. Fries were cold. Ice cold draft beer however it took a while to get one. Also, grease had been spilled on the tile floor near the restrooms and it was super slippery. I usually don't go to Hooters. As much as I enjoy the view of these young ladies I am quite a bit older and don't need the entertainment on that level. I did however want to get a good burger maybe a salad and a couple of iced teas before I went back to my hotel for the night after a long day of driving. I had recently gone to Hooters with a buddy in Boca Raton Florida and the burger was exceptional. On that basis I figured that I might get a similar meal this evening. Sadly I made the mistake of ordering make your own burger on Texas toast with my usual toppings of lettuce tomato grilled onion with jalapeños. The burger took a bit longer than I expected and when it arrived it was as poorly constructed as anything I've ever seen. All the toppings were strewn all along the plate and the patties were beyond well done they were dry and overcooked. The grilled onions were the size of onion rings barely cooked. Being as hungry as I was I ate it and accepted the fact that there were very few choices at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night although they were supposed to be open till 10 based on their yelp listing I had expected to watch some of the football game. The salad was also very lacking the only thing redeeming about the meal was the waffle fries were pretty good and the bartender who was waiting on me was a very pleasant girl and of course easy on the eye. Now if your sole purpose for going to Hooters here in Savannah Georgia is to ogle gorgeous young ladies well then maybe this place is worth tolerating the horrible food I won't be back at least not to this location. read more

Had family visiting from the west coast one being a hooters girl. I was very disappointed in this hooters. I have visited many hooters restaurants all over this country among other countries being that we have been a military family for 26 years and this was the worst hooters I am not kidding the worst of all of them over the years I have ever been to. Not only was the food horrible and took forever and there was only about 15 people including the 4 of us in this restaurant at 2:30/3pm on a Wednesday. Just the fact that we waited for 3 orders of 10 boneless wings and one order of a classic hooters wings for over 45 minutes with it not being busy and it didn't come out all together and two of the boneless wing plates were cold. No I did not say anything nor did I send it back because I did not want to wait longer and I don't send food back. Even if I wanted to complain to the manager which never even came to our table to say hello but I watched walk around for about 5 minutes with a black jacket on when we first sat down and then the rest of the two hours we were in there we did not see her again. The managers name is Melissa and not only didn't she come out to say hello we wanted to see if they had any hooters shirts that said savannah GA on it. Server (Kim) went back to ask manager(Melissa) who was in the office and had been in there most of our stay at the restaurant. Restaurant Not busy at all. We should of been in and out of there at the longest an hour. But over two hours wasted because of waiting for cold food and for a shirt we never got from a manager that must not have munch experience or just doesn't care about customers. It's very sad. It started with my choice of a glass of beer. Who would have thought that a simple yeungling could not be purchased here? They were out. Then my appetizer choice was onion ring tower... Yep you guessed it. They were out of onion rings. I know we all have different taste, but I prefer flats. I received all brunettes. When questioned, I was told that they were out of flats. Using the app to order food for pickup to keep people employed, enter in that I will be there at 4:30 to pick it up, get there and it's not even ready yet. No big deal at first cause that should mean everything is fresh and hot........ yeah right. Have people in the kitchen playing grab ass instead of their jobs. Get the items home, on the wings the order was put in for 6 naked wings extra crispy with mild sauce (how we got them, Luke warm and hardly any sauce), chicken strips no sauce, no rub (looked like some sauce was poured on them as well as rub/seasoning), two chicken sandwich combos (one garlic parm barely any sauce on the sandwich at all) the fries for both combos and the separate order of fries..... cold, like they were just thawed out or sitting all day. To have spent $70+ and gave a tip...... over $80+ on substandard food. Just made the list of never being visited again as well as the only recommendations to others I'll give is to go elsewhere. I placed an UberEats order from Hooters in Savannah. My food arrived late and when I got it, it was completely cold. My daughter picked up her burger and a long strand of hair was hanging from it. I called them, the manager's response was the guy in the kitchen is bald. I expressed that other people handle and bag the food. She agreed it could have come from the girl at the bar. She said I could not get a refund because it was an UberEats order, but she could have it remade with no guarantee the driver would bring it back out. I declined her offer. I contacted UberEats who only provided me with a refund for the one burger even though I expressed wanting a full refund. I will NEVER eat at Hooters nor will I use UberEats again.
