Visited on a Saturday night and just missed their happy hour. Our waitress Denise was amazing. Super friendly and funny. My group initially came just for drinks and to watch the games but I ended up ordering a chicken Caesar wrap which was delicious. It could have used a bit more dressing on the wrap. When you walk into this sports bar you can definitely see why they are called a sports bar with the amount of televisions they have around the place! The sign stated that we could seat ourselves. I have ordered to go twice and both times It has not been the same thing that is on the menu. Tonight I ordered the southwest bowl with chicken which, on the menu, had lettuce, corn, black beans, avocado, tortilla strips, salsa, lime wedges and a chili lime aïoli. When I opened the bag that my husband brought home, I could not believe my eyes. What I got was some disgusting overcooked vegetables like zucchini and squash with red peppers on top of a dry coleslaw mix and quinoa with my grilled chicken sitting on top. So not what I ordered! Was there with a party of 16 for a birthday dinner. Shay (not really sure if that's the correct spelling) was the best server ever! She was very friendly and didn't get upset when we asked for separate tickets. The food was great, didn't hear one complaint. I had the steak salad and would definitely order it again. The service is great, we always sit outside since the weather is nice, only downside is that we have run out of drinks and it took a good minute till the waiter/waitress made a round. I love the outdoor option. I am someone who has to take her dog with me and the outdoor area was so laid back and perfect. There were TVs everywhere and you can request to watch specific games and channels. They don't forget about you just because you are outside either which is great!! The food is pretty good. Last and final update sadly. Came back here for the first time after my last bad experience to see how things have changed and unfortunately it's for the worst it seems. Kept things simple and ordered the wings and cheese fries since those have always been good when I came here....until now. The cheese fries had little to no queso on them which is the main reason to order them cause the queso is very good. Then the wings? We were sat at a table in the front and waited over 15 mins for a server, even though the two people at the hostess desk knew we were there. The waiter finally came and he was nice enough but not very attentive. New restaurant in Pooler with lots of potential. It's nice having another option to watch a game - the Savannah area in general has very few sports bars! I met a friend here for lunch. We sat at a high top by the bar and were greeted promptly by our server. I really like that they have lunch specials. I got the 1/2 french dip & fries. He got the sliders & fries. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The french dip was good. I enjoyed the au jus. The fries were very yummy. I enjoyed the seasoning on them. My friend said the burgers were decent. Toward the end of our meal the manager stopped by the table and asked about our experience - she even went as far as asking for feedback in ways they could improve! I decided on the medium which was 10 slices, It perfect amount for both of us. The pizza is topped with spicy Italian sausage, smoked ham, pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, and the classic moz cheese. Then topped with basil and tomatoes. My biggest issue with the pizza was there was too much crust. Service - I would say they started off really bad. Seated immediately by the hostess. Then probably 10 plus minutes before our waitress visited us. I could see at least 5 people talking with a Supervisor/Manager near the bar, but yet no one visited us. After we finally got a waitress things moved smoothly. My daughter and boyfriend never ran out of sweet tea. She even joked about leaving the picture at the table. My wife and I joined a group of college alumni for a get together. Prior to our visit, I never heard of Boston's Restaurant and Bar. I looked it up and found it's a regional chain similar to BJ's Restaurant or Yard House. I'm not sure who is the main owner, but the vibe was very good. Located right off I-95 and Pooler parkway, it's easy to get to, but also easy to get lost with all the other chain restaurants in the area. Our server was Kaylee who was very friendly and attentive. There were 8 of us--- all getting separate checks. I didn't see too much other than Pizza on the menu which is what I was in the mood for anyway. My bill actually says Boston Pizza. My wife ordered the Veggie thin while I had the Deluxe. I should have ordered the thin which is what I would recommend for anyone. The regular crust is a lot like Pizza Hut if you like the fried crust type. Their libations were great. Nice choices for draft beer. I hada Wicked Milk & Cookies which was a high ABV, smooth dark beer. Highly recommend. For 22 oz is $10 while 16 oz is $7.50. My wife had the house Margarita with salt for $7.95. Caution--- not sure if this is for everyone or just our table but there was an 18% gratuity added to our separate check. First impression: We arrived at 10:20pm and the hostess was on the phone and more concerned about leaving than helping us. We were seated fairly prompt and the waiter came over fast as the restaurant wasn't very busy. Our waiter was very nice but very new. We asked about the menu and he wasn't sure what to recommend or what would be a good start. (Needs training) Once we started ordering it was very scrambled. We were told he needed to check inventory to see if certain items were available. (Poor management) We then placed our order. After ordering our waiter returned to tell us that we were unable to order any of our fried items because they turned off the fryer 30 minutes before the kitchen closes. We again had to review the menu to place a new order to replace those items. We waited for 10 minutes before the waiter returned saying they turned the fryer back on. So we reverted back to the original order. 10 minutes later, we were then told they were out of large pizzas. So we put in an order for a medium pizza, and a small to replace it. A few minutes later the waiter returned again to tell us they were out of medium pizzas. [Previous to this visit we had come before and the bartender had made comments about needing to bring items from home because they didn't have stuff needed to bartend properly.] Our waiter seemed flustered and upset with the kitchen. Food came out after an hour of being seated. One pizza came out with chicken on it when it was supposed to be without, then the boneless wings were brought out as bone in. Food was great, even though it came out wrong. Experience wasn't the best. Our waiter was really nice, but this restaurant needs some work. When one of our party went to the restroom, they were out of toilet paper and paper towels. Ultimately, I think the management in this location needs work. My family enjoyed the good. First, the meatball appetizer. It is sooo good! I told my husband that it is something I can eat myself as a main dish. The meatballs are so tender and juicy and the marinara sauce which it was on has perfect acidity and flavor. The bread it came with is sooo cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside. I think it has some italian seasoning on it which added a really nice, mellow flavor. The pizza is not too oily and came fresh out of the oven. Perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. It was great! Went thanksgiving night with the family and had a great time. The waitress was amazing and the food was great!

The place seems to have a really good atmosphere especially for the people who love to watch sports games there are a lot of TVs that you can look at. Everybody seemed really friendly as far as staff goes. Although our waitress was a little too friendly we don't need to here about her personal life with other co workers or what they did the night before. I would say that the food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely come back for the food again. Maybe this time they will have to dough for a thin crust pizza. On the downside I had to ask for refill and when we said we did not want a Togo box for the extra fries we had she still brought us one. Over all not a bad experience. read more

We've been to BP's a handful of times now, and our first three visits were great. Tonight's visit was a second chance, after service during our 4th visit was subpar. We left after being seated at a table and not receiving service from a server tonight. Our 4th visit was the same, but we waited since we had the kids and ultimately someone showed up after 15 minutes. I understand that staffing may be an issue for places these days, but seeing people walk in after us and having drinks at their table before we even see a server does not sit well with me. Came here with my husband just to try it out on a Thursday after work. Once we were seated, our waiter didn't come to our table until the hostess came back to ask if we had been served. She finally came more than 10-15 mins later and was apologetic, but she did the same thing to the table next to us less than 5 minutes later. There were indeed 14 pieces because I did count, but their sizes were tiny. It looked like a chicken tender cut into 14 pieces. It was good but left me hungry still.
