I would not recommend…read more I initially got a rave review from a coworker. I was dealing with sciatica issues and a lower lumbar disc herniation. On Sept 6th I had my first and only session. I sent my MRIs. I talked about desiring a PT program. The person I met with "K" wanted to do some chiropractic adjustments. I was in so much pain after K's adjustments I needed to lean against the wall to stand. K saw how in pain I was, but just went back to his computer like this was normal. There were two front desk representatives. They also saw me leaning against the wall and just diverted their attentions to their computers. I was so horrified at all the pain and utter lack of compassion, I just cried. Took me a couple hours to get home. Some other points: The facility has a dog on site. I have no clue what the purpose of the dog is. Various staff had come in and out of the session room I was in with K. Knowing looks would be shared between staff, which indicated to myself that attention was easily pulled from focusing on patients. I wrote Johnny wanting a solution. He recommended I go to a different PT center entirely. I was hoping he would have used the opportunity to look over my charts, ask me to come back in, reassess. Nope. This is why I can't recommend. If Warrior NYC is so committed to their patients and understanding body mechanics they should jump at the chance to fix any situation that left their patients in debilitating pain. At the least, offer a refund, yet that would probably admit to incompetence. To me, this interaction demonstrates a complete lack of faith by themselves in their own work. Any other kind of contractor would want to fix or repair the body or at least their reputation. On Nov 20th I ended up having spinal surgery at NYU Langone. I truly believe the actions of Warrior NYC led to my spinal surgery. If anyone else has experienced a similar circumstance, contact me.

I've only had four sessions with Dr. Cucci but as far as I'm concerned the man is a miracle worker…read more When my neck first started hurting I thought that maybe I had some kind of injury from exercise but when it spread to my shoulder and arm and hand even after I stopped exercising I knew I had to see my doctor. My primary care physician sent me for an MRI which did show some nerve impingement but he didn't think it was bad enough to recommend surgery and neither of us wanted to start down the road of constant painkillers. My problem had been going on longer than I realized and I was looking forward to non-ending pain if I did nothing. It was my doctor that suggested a chiropractor might be able to help. I was very impressed by how nice and helpful Lisa was before I even got to the office. Both she and Dr. Cucci are VERY personable and it went a long way to assuaging my anxiety. I love that Dr. Cucci took the time to listen and then thoroughly explain everything, both before and during the treatment. He's got a fantastic bedside manner. These are people who care about the patients and the practice. I didn't expect much after the first session but I was pleasantly surprised that I could raise my arm again after only one visit. I also started sleeping better right away because I wasn't waking up every time I moved my arm or neck. He always asks about the progress and where things are hurting before he starts working on me and with every subsequent visit I have found myself with less and less pain and more range of movement again.
