What I loved about my Lion Physical Therapist is that he asked me right away what my goals were and then the team worked with me to get to the point where I could start to do the physical activities I loved to do pre-surgery. I've been through PT many times in the past and Lion Physical Therapy is the most I've sweated (and cursed lol) during a PT session. I highly recommend them! I do not and was shocked to see about 8-10 other patients being treated in the same small store-front office. There are no private spaces--the treatment tables are literally a foot or two apart. What's more, they called to cancel my first appointment with no explanation. When I finally arrived for my rescheduled one, I was given redundant paper and iPad forms to fill out. I then had to compete with three other waiting patients for a chair in the waiting area (there are only two). My PT seemed friendly but she totally misdiagnosed my injury and did not help me feel better.

James was able to get to our apartment within a few hours, I'm very grateful for how quickly he got back to me. My boyfriend isn't an acupuncture skeptic per se, but he's less likely to turn to it than I am so I was a bit apprehensive about it but he LOVED James. They bonded over basketball (the injury was basketball related) and James had very very thorough knowledge about sports injuries. It was incredibly impressive. He even offered strengthening exercise for my boyfriend to do, and advised us on an herbal tincture to take the swelling down which really worked. A week later I saw James for some digestive issues and also had a fantastic session. I really left feeling so much better and hopeful that I could resolve a semi-chronic issue.
