View from the parking lot. Awesome, converted garage into a brewery.

Tucked away in an old car mechanic shop, Hop Hill transformed the space into a tasting room with TVs and games galore. I've tried this place out twice now, I can't say I am a fan of the beer (unfortunately). It almost tastes flat or room temperature to me. They do bring in some great food trucks to change up the menu weekly and you can follow them on social media to find out who is serving up that week.

The beers are lacking carbonation and hops. They aren't bad, they just aren't good. Unfortunate because the overall vibe is cool.

We stopped by and had a great conversation - turns out it was largely a misunderstanding but he was still more than willing to self-reflect, apologize and let us know that we were always welcome here. He also let us know that one of their goals as a business is to be open and welcoming to EVERYBODY. They definitely proved that to be true this time around and we've definitely found our new place to walk to and bring our friends! While we had a FANTASTIC experience our first time here, when we came back around 5pm this past Monday (7/26/2021), it was the complete opposite. We sat at the bar, had some delicious beer, and the bartender was lovely. Then one of the owners came behind the bar and started chatting with a man two seats down from my fiancée and I. They started spouting off about a whole host of controversial topics quite loudly, but what really killed the vibe was when the owner said "those f***ing f***ots" loud enough for the whole bar to hear. My fiancée and I are a queer couple and felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome.

If you're super-organized, Seven Sirens Bethlehem is a decent value, but don't expect the level of…read moreservice you see at The Blendery in Easton. Our 100 guests brought in huge bar revenue on a holiday weekend while keeping the space open to the public, yet we felt like an unwanted burden. Bait-and-Switch Pricing: I laid out a very basic party plan that was much more like a birthday than a wedding, and Rob gave me a quote. Hours after agreeing to the price and securing our date, he called back claiming his "partner" said they couldn't do a "wedding" for that price, raising it by several hundred dollars with no other explanation or change in my basic plan. Nickel-and-Diming: Rob initially pitched add-ons like a chocolate fountain and a coffee bar - I loved both ideas until it turned out they'd cost more than my caterer charged for our whole dinner service. In hindsight, I have no idea where he would have even put these in the space we were given. He also wanted to charge $150 to set out 10 centerpieces, $150 for servers, and extra fees for tables he wasn't even sure if he had. I declined and found help with these things elsewhere. Lost Payments (DO NOT PAY CASH): I dropped off my 50% deposit check on June 25 (cleared July 1). Rob confirmed by text that he had received it. On Aug 10, Rob texted (in the same text thread) asking if I had ever paid a deposit or sent the contract. I had to text him a photo of the cleared check because he also forgot the amount. Ignored Messages & Sarcasm: A week before the wedding, Rob read my FB message and texts across two days with zero response. I had to ask my DJ to nudge him (they're friends). When Rob finally called back, he was sarcastic and hid behind being "off." A simple "I'm off, I'll call Friday" would have sufficed. Music Caps: Rob wasn't sure he could accommodate my request to play some Greek music for my family between dinner and the DJ starting, claiming it "impeded normal operations." When he finally agreed, he capped it to 15 minutes. If you've ever been to Seven Sirens on a Saturday evening, you know there's never much going on before 8pm; not sure why this was even an issue when I was renting out the space and providing a normal DJ & karaoke for the remainder of everyone's entertainment. Dirty Venue: When I arrived to decorate a couple hours before the reception, the tables and seats were dirty. I had to wipe them down myself (in my wedding hair & makeup) and remove a messy extension cord left across the booths where my guests would be eating. They also failed to set up our 4 catering tables. The poor single bartender on duty was completely uninformed and had to haul heavy tables out by herself. Mid-Reception Interruptions: The first time I ever met Rob was while I was trying to enjoy dinner with my guests. He interrupted to say I could play my Greek music after all because--exactly as I'd predicted--there were no outside patrons there anyway. By then, dealing with music logistics wasn't something I wanted to manage mid-reception, and so I said 'forget it.' He also asked how I was going to pay the remaining balance, and I had to inform him that his bar manager already received my check the night before. The Bright Spots: Bar Staff: The bar manager, Sam, and the bartenders were fantastic and kept the many tabs for all our guests very well-managed. We're still trying to figure out how one couple ended up with a $400 tab for only two of them, but we think they stuck to their signage that you'll buy the bar a round if you don't close your tab before you leave (they returned to retrieve their forgotten credit card the next day). DJ Dave Waldron: Their preferred DJ was amazing and made our party a fantastic time. Bottom Line: Management misplaces financial records, leaves the space dirty, dumps setup on single bar staff, and nickel-and-dimes clients. I have screenshots and photos to back up my statements if management wants to try and dispute this review. Look elsewhere in the Lehigh Valley if you want a stress-free event that you don't have to micromanage.

They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.

I didn't go, but my wife asked if I wanted anything off the menu. I cut meat out of my diet so finding alternatives when eating out sometimes can be a challenge. I can say I haven't eaten meat on a daily or weekly basis for going on 3 years now. Have l slipped and eaten meat?Let that craving for meat consume me. Hell yeah I have, I'm not perfect and I can admit that. So as I'm looking at the menu here at Fegley's B.B.W. I came across their "CHUNK VEGAN STEAK" and asked my wife to order that for me. Now I've had some imitation steaks before, but when my wife came in with this Chunk Vegan Steak. I opened up the container and from just looking at the appearance of this Chunk Steak I was totally taken back and honestly thought this piece of meat was real. I then cut me a piece and proceeded to eat. WOW! Talk about a great tasting vegan piece of steak! I actually told my wife "babe I think they made a mistake and put a real piece of steak in my meal. I was so taken back by the taste of this steak. I offered my daughter a piece and when she ate it she burst my bubble and said she could tell it wasn't real. As a meat eater she has keen taste of real meat. I on the other hand would eat this chunk vegan steak in place of a real steak anytime. If you're ever hungry and want to eat out and aren't a meat eater. I would recommend this Vegan Chunk Steak at Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works to anyone who isn't a red meat eater. Now as I rant about this vegan chunk steak the whole meal the asparagus the potatoes were delicious. The people in the group said their food was delicious also. I called the next day and had to express myself and compliment them on this fantastic fake steak. I'll definitely be going back for some more! This place does food the right way!

Beer wise I had a Main 2 Main pilsner which was average and a Coconut Silent Partner, which is - "Silent Partner, our chocolate stout which is rested on organic Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs, is then infused with coconut. The deep chocolate, roasted and caramel notes blend well with the slight sweetness of the added coconut." I thought the Coconut Silent Partner was above average and very well put together.
