    Gin drink and hazy ipa
    Averrell H.

So I went into this place with high expectations and for the most part I was very satisfied. Food was amazing .we got the honey hot and also the pickle ranch pizza. They were both phenomenal. The place was awesome, tons of inside and outside seating. Plus live music on the Friday we went . The service was fast and friendly. Only problem was the beer. I love me a good lager but the beer all tasted the same and the ipas were a little to bitter. But I'd definitely go back cause the mixed drinks were delicious

10 out of 10 - no notes. Wishful Thinking is a win! The beer is good, the pizza is AMAZING, the space is welcoming, hipster-pub, and the staff is friendly. Opt for a bar stool, a table in the back room, or some out door seating out front, and have yourself a time at Wishful Thinking. I really, really like Wishful Thinking's use of locally sourced ingredients, and they're all listed on the menu! They have a full bar - so if beer is not your thing, this place is still a solid hang. In addition to their own beers, they had a couple of guest taps from other great local breweries. If pizza isn't your thing, they have other menu items to peruse. Granted we visited on a Sunday, shortly after they opened at noon, the vibe was very laid back. No loud blaring music, no TVs, no riff raff - just an enjoyable lunch. TLDR; Lagers: delicious Pizza: a decadent savory treat - rotating specials- thick crusty beauties Parking: residential street parking Seemingly ADA accessible (no stairs to enter, at least) Worth a stop!

I went here for the first time the other day. I've known about it and driven past it many times. I went with kids and sat outside. We got pizza. My wife and I got beer. The seating was picnic tables and it was shaded so it was nice. We ordered food at the bar and it was brought to our table quickly. Food was pizza. It was a focaccia with toppings. It was fantastic. Kids loved pizza fries. I only tried one beer, but damn was it good. I will be back here.

Tomato pie with added mushrooms and onions

First visit this past Saturday. The place was fairly full with a large bar (almost too large) taking up the front space and a dining room in the back where there were a bunch of families, children, so nice to see some separation. Service was quick and friendly. Easy to order at the bar, hand over your card and they hold onto your CC until you close out at the end. I was starving, but didn't want to eat too unhealthy, so I opted for the tomato pie. Based on the menu, I was expecting this pie to be the same as all the others (8x10 square pie made with local flour, cut into six slices) and while it was 6 slices, it was not prepared like any of the other pies I spotted. No Detroit style pan and more rounded with plenty of sauce. I added mushrooms and onions (each $1 additional) and neither were warm or cooked, so just some raw mushrooms and huge chunks of strong white onions, so nothing special to add to the experience. The beers were good. They are new, so a few guest taps available while they crank out more of their own. Their house hazy IPA was solid and I sampled a couple of their lagers and certainly tasty. I'll gladly return when I'm in the area and may have to ask more questions on the food I will receive to be certain I am happy with my meal for the price. Welcome to Bethlehem!

Delicious. Detroit style was really good. Had 4 pies to sample. The hot honey pepperoni was perfection. White was a close number 2. We had tomato and the classic. One and two were so much tastier, but all were great. Beers were great too. When in the area I would say a definite yes. Parking is tough. You'll find a spot.

    "Sense of Source" YUM!!

Excellent craft beers and food! Thanks Wishful Thinking Brewing for re-education on pouring a proper beer with foam. Love the "Sense of Source" beer on draft, pairs well with your amazing pizza! The salad was fresh and delicious as was the cheese platter! Feels like you have been open for years despite only being open for one week! Selling out on pizza is a great sign! And thanks for your commitment to fresh dough to ensure every pizza is great! Imagine hard to plan for such demand having just opened. Great work on a quick ramp up! Already one of our favorite craft brewery pubs with great food being huge bonus! Excellent bar tenders and staff! Great bar and great Bavarian style picnic tables in the back room! Keep up the great work!

Wish I lived in Bethlehem. This brewery is in my top 10. The food, service, and vibe 5+stars. Ate a Festivus Pie- deep dish Detroit style delish pizza pie. Local food ingredients and amazing foam filled glasses of great beer. Please take a quick detour off 78- you'll be so glad you did!

She was welcoming, friendly, attentive, informative and professional. We were pleasantly surprised with brunch menu and specials. We ordered the half carafe of mimosas. Just the right mix of champagne with a tasty orange juice in flutes. I ordered a breakfast entree, which did not disappoint. A plump veggie omelette filled with fresh grilled mushrooms, peppers, and cheese with a side of breakfast potatoes-delish! My friend was equally as pleased with her eye catching and palate pleasing Cobb salad - perfectly sized portion of mix of fresh greens(good portion of romaine), fresh hard boiled egg, picture perfect avocado, delicious grilled, tasty chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing. We opted for booth seating in the bar area( plenty of natural sunlight). There is a large dining room and outdoor seating (we chose A/C yesterday, due to high humidity). They also have an extensive list of their brewed beers on tap, samplers and the like.... which they are known for. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch( available every Sunday). Definitely, will be going back.. again and again. Extensive menu!

They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.

Our waitress was wonderful and I wish I could have remembered her name. She was engaging, informative and provided professional, friendly service. It was Summer restaurant week but we opted for à la carte and ordered from the appetizer and sandwich sections. I opted for the Blacked Chicken Quesadillas. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful and complicated all the other normal quesadilla ingredients. We shared the perfectly GBD fried cauliflower and opted for the buffalo sauce. Great choice. My niece chose the Roasted Turkey & Brie sans the bacon. She said they use real oven roasted turkey and not deli slices and enjoyed it immensely. We both took half our orders to go. I would definitely return when we are in town because I saw several other menu options I want to try.

Beer wise I had a Main 2 Main pilsner which was average and a Coconut Silent Partner, which is - "Silent Partner, our chocolate stout which is rested on organic Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs, is then infused with coconut. The deep chocolate, roasted and caramel notes blend well with the slight sweetness of the added coconut." I thought the Coconut Silent Partner was above average and very well put together.
