This is definitely a frequently visited spot for me...(1) It is close to home (2) The Staff is absolutely FANTASTIC (3) It supports other local businesses. Most recently I dropped in to test drive their collaboration with Blocker's Coffeehouse Biery's Peruvian Coffee Porter. This beer was mind boggling good Strong Flavor & Ultra Smooth finish. Looking forward to enjoying it again and again. Bonus find was the Food Truck Cone Appetit who was onsite that night as well.

Tasty beer and a nice atmosphere. Friendly folks too. I lean towards the IPAs and the Revolution is a very good one!

Great brews, check to see what is on tap. They have a great selection but it is based on having stock. Worth a night or day out to visit!

Are you allowed to take snacks?

In places that do not provide snacks or food trucks or say, there are food allergies, it’s ok to bring snacks. However, as often taprooms need to make money as do food trucks, it’s better to support them by purchasing what they offer. Typically…

They do a great job creating a tropical, laid-back atmosphere, with a tiki bar and a nice outdoor deck that really adds to the vibe. The beers and drinks tend to be on the lighter, fruitier side. There weren't any IPAs on tap during our visit, so if you're an IPA fan, the selection may be a little limited depending on the day. There was a food truck on-site, and we ordered sandwiches. Unfortunately, the food truck service took forever, and the sandwiches weren't exactly worthy of taking a picture of. Definitely not the highlight of the visit. There was also a band playing inside the bar area, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, you couldn't really hear the music outside, so if you're sitting on the deck or in the yard, you wouldn't know there was live music happening inside. One thing I really liked is that the place is very family- and dog-friendly. Dogs are welcome throughout the yard, grassy areas, and even on the deck, which is a big plus for us. The family atmosphere is nice, although there were quite a few kids running around, jumping in the creek and throwing rocks, with what seemed like little to no parental supervision while they were in the water. That may be something to keep in mind depending on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for. Overall, it's a nice spot to grab a drink, hang outside, bring your dog, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The tropical outdoor setting is definitely the biggest draw. We'd come back for the atmosphere and drinks, but probably wouldn't make the trip specifically for the food.

We had pizza, hummus plate and pizza bites. Everything was perfection. I think they make the best thick crust pizza!

They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.
