One of my native El Paso friends would always talk about how much she loved this place, so of course we had to stop in for a drink. They have an assortment of amazing sounding drinks that..... Are only available early in the day. Whomp whomp. That was a bummer. So we just had standard vodka sodas. The aesthetic is fun and the vibe was welcoming. It was a fun quick stop.

Words cannot express how much I love Hope and Anchor and the amazing service they give our community! They also have an amazing ambiance that makes everyone feel welcome and a part of the Hope and Anchor family. The restaurant next door (Sabor Tooth) also has some amazing food that just works perfectly with the drinks at Hope and Anchor. I take all my out of town guests and friends to Hope and Anchor and they always want to go back!

I've been coming here for years, now. I'm not so much a regular, but the bartenders do recognize me when I sit down at the bar. It's nice to see Phil (a longtime bartender here) and chat with him in between my hiatuses. I gotta tell you, this is a fantastic chill spot, with great music and a very relaxed crowd/atmosphere. The drinks they make are top-notch, with many of the mixes they use made fresh, in-house. These mixes are fantastic. They make every drink here unique, from those haphazardly thrown together at many other local bars. And these drinks are reasonably priced, with daily drink specials. Of particular note is 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', where you custom order a bloody Mary with a huge variety of choices, and they bring you a grilled cheese sandwich with every drink. Too cool. The restaurant Sabertooth is next door, and you can order Sabertooth food at the bar, and the restaurant will bring it over to you. The staff here is great and can make you ANYTHING you order, and make it correctly...so that you really enjoy your drinks. With great service, ingredients, music, ambiance and vibe, this is a no-brainer for 5 stars. I love this place and will continue to be a loyal patron of their delicious bibations.

Been here twice and while both times it was early in the night, the place was laid back. The outdoor patio is a huge plus and nicely done. The bar extends from the inside to the patio and the entire back is glass which really makes the entire place have a very connected and open vibe. Guinness ontap is currently $3.50, haven't had anything else but prices are probably moderate. I agree the jukebox is well stocked with some good music and both times we were there, the selections playing were neither too old or crap. The only thing missing is a firepit out back.

Hipster, cheap beer, great ambiance. Tough to get a cab and large area outside tough when it is cold. Would go back again in the Summer

Good music and great patio makes for a night time or midday escape. Food next door keeps me here.

My friends and I had dinner at Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar on Friday, May 1 during BTS weekend in…read moreEl Paso, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing -- everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You could tell a lot of care went into both the menu and presentation. What really stood out, though, was how attentive and genuinely kind our server was throughout the evening. Even with how busy El Paso was that weekend, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. If I return to El Paso in the future, Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

For starters I would say this spot was simply okay. I would bring some friends here for drinks and…read morevibes but I wouldn't come back on my own accord. For starters the atmosphere was so cute. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.

While in El Paso, I was looking for an interesting place to have lunch. And stumbled across the…read moreangry owl. So I decided to give it a try since it's only a couple miles down the way from my hotel. Easy drive up the hill to get there, place was super easy to find. You cannot miss their logo. Ample parking in the lot so you don't have to worry When you walk in, it's a cheery little sports bar. Now from the exterior. I would have thought that this was a chain restaurant, the signage was pro and the outside of the building led me to believe that this was definitely a chain like Chili's or other restaurants. Restaurants. Like it's definitely not, and I love that about the place! I was seated right away in a table so I could check out the whole restaurant. Plenty of seeding on either table tops or high tops, not to mention bar seating. Plenty of options on the menu, I opted for the cheeseburger with bacon, and I also added hatch chilies on it. Asked for the fries well done. To drink, I had an iced tea. The iced tea came out first and was definitely cold but I got to say it was a little weak. Not sure what that was about, but it was still definitely drinkable. The burger came out and let me tell you it was freaking huge! I mean the burger with all of the toppings almost overpowered the bun. I couldn't really pick it up because the bottom bun was sort of falling apart so I cut it in half ate half of the burger with my fork and the other half with my hands. I will say this the burger itself was perfectly seasoned. The bacon could have been a little crispier but it was still very delicious. It came with fries and a metal bowl and those were seasoned great as well. For dessert, I decided to have the margarita lime cake, because it sounded amazing and looked amazing when it came to the table. Table however, the cake itself was very dry. It almost had the consistency of a tres leches cake except this did not have the tres leches so the cake itself was a little disappointing but it came with whipped cream and did have a layer of filling so that definitely helped. Bottom line? This was a great place to grab a bite to eat for lunch. It's got good ambiance. It's God solid Service and just needs a few extra tweaks to make it a five-star! Go check this one out for sure!
