I love that everything here was proven with data and that there really was a man, Jesus Christ, that was crucified the way the bible is written! This shroud is a replica and from what I saw it will be on display here until 2030 with hopes of getting renewed. We all loved it! I highly recommend it!

I had made an oath and felt genuinely called to go pray. When I arrived, Mass was already in progress, but I only intended to quietly join for a few minutes. As I walked in, an older woman at the front stopped me. I was wearing a hat, which I planned to remove once I sat down, but before I could do that, she told me I wasn't allowed to enter. I asked why, explaining that I just wanted to pray and be part of the service. She refused and told me I couldn't come in. Then, she went as far as to physically hit my hat and told me I was being disrespectful. I asked again if she was seriously denying me access to join the Mass and pray, and she said yes. She told me to go to the chapel instead if I wanted to pray. I've never experienced anything like this before especially in a place that's supposed to be open to anyone seeking God. It felt wrong to be turned away like that when all I wanted was to pray and express gratitude.

I vote for equal human rights for the LGBTQ community BUT I draw the line at changing what the Lord commands for his children and for the church. What has been a constant reminder for myself is the old church saying: "The Church isn't a museum for saints but a hospital for sinners." In a strange way, our imperfections are a clear indication that God is leading and not us. "I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32) With St. Barbara, being my main parish, I definitely resonate with some details shared with a particular review here. I understand, have seen, and even dealt with some difficulties myself. With that I'll say that I am happy that the parishioner has been able to find a "landing spot" at Blessed Sacrament and would like to reassure them (and anyone reading) that we have a younger generation of leaders coming up who are currently sincerely (and imperfectly) fighting the good fight and pursuing holiness at St. Barbara. Until then, I'll also second what that reviewer had to say about Blessed Sacrament. It is led by a great pastor and a strong Youth Ministry team. Any leader who comes from their Anchored Youth Ministry is solid in faith and compassionate by default. I find myself coming here to be a participant to get my own nourishment and would highly recommend everyone else to as well. As for the Mass. Highly recommend. 10/10 would do it again (every week of course)... at any parish in our One, Holy, and Apostolic Catholic Church (all Masses are the same after all).

Why do they always want MONEY…read more Anywho I asked if I can get tiny bit of ashes so I can have my sister can put it on him. He is NOT able to walk or get in a car. He has trouble with his legs. Person who answer the phone told me. That it's not allowed to give ashes out. I told her covid time I did he tiny cup of ashes due to both of my parents where sick with covid. Now I can get any for my dad for ash Wednesday. Unless I pay someone from the church to give to him. My dad is on hospice my mom passed away 4 months ago. You would think catholic church would step in and help. My parent been going there for YEARS. we had few wedding held there. So glad I don't go there anymore.
