Best physical therapy place to go to! 100% recommend for before & after surgery. There's always plenty of parking. The disability ramp is near their glass corner (parallel to Mile Square Park/Warner Ave). Designated disability spots are available, but regular spots are often closer to the ramp and front door. If you park near the front entrance, note there are a couple of curb steps with dirt, just a heads-up for anyone with lower body injuries (like I had). The entrance is at the door with the suite number. The other door by the exercise room is just for airflow. I accidentally entered through there my first time! You don't realize how good a place is until you've been somewhere else that's subpar or just plain awful. Before surgery, I went to another PT office for ROM. It was okay, but the strong cleaning chemical smell stuck to my clothes and bothered me. I never had that issue at Hope PT. I came to Hope PT unsure if I'd get surgery and wanted to strengthen my leg first. My consultation was with Alex, who was friendly and informative. During prehab, David worked with me and was fantastic: empathetic, hands-on, and helped me trust the process. Drew and a Japanese PT (sorry, I forgot her name) also helped with exercises. I love the vibe here. Staff get along well and there's a strong sense of camaraderie. Even though I don't need a translator, I noticed Drew (not Vietnamese) had learned some Vietnamese phrases. That's fun! Other PTs are native speakers: Mike, Alex, and David, and I think that helps serve the local community. Others also speak Spanish, so the staff here are very inclusive and diverse. After building strength, I still had instability and locking from my injury, so I chose to have surgery. Because I switched insurance networks to get the surgeon I wanted, I was sent to a random PT clinic nearby. I went pre-surgery and... wow. The PTA didn't seem to have read my file. She asked basic, redundant questions and told me not to bend my knee at all because it was "dangerous." That made no sense. I was already biking and doing ankle-weight exercises at Hope, and I literally drove myself there pain-free. I had to explain my situation several times in front of other patients, which felt unprofessional. They had barely any seats in the waiting room, and three were taken by a patient's kids. With my knee injury (which isn't visibly obvious), I barely got a seat. Their chairs were old, flat, and too low for someone recovering from knee surgery. That alone was bad enough, but then I realized the place was on the second floor. A terrible setup for someone post-op. I gave it a second shot, but both sessions involved long wait times (20 to 30 minutes), and lying on their hard treatment beds gave me back pain within 10 minutes, both times. My back never hurt at Hope PT. Only good thing: it was 10 minutes from home. But I'd rather travel farther for better care. After that experience, I asked my surgeon's office if I could go back to Hope PT. Thankfully, the referral was approved! I'm now back post-op and couldn't be happier. I had my post-op consult with Mike, who was friendly and helpful. He even showed me how to neatly roll my ace wrap. I'm now working again with David, Drew, Alan, and others. I feel like I'm in great hands. Compared to that other place, I really appreciate how clean, spacious, punctual, friendly, and well-equipped Hope PT is. There's lots of equipment, space to move, and a great environment for progressing through my multi-phase ACL recovery. So glad I made the switch back! read more

Hello, I debated whether to make this or not because its not me personally but I bring my mom here for her safety I will not say her name. I think it is so disrespectful that the woman (Elizabeth) i believe thats her name can see you walk in and she is just on her phone scrolling. She has legit made my mom wait for her until she is done with whatever she is watching on her phone instead of helping her. We have literally had to turn to the two people on the side to help us and it's so uncomfortable. I think when people are older and have a hard time walking if they come to you, you have to give them your attention ASAP! We are currently working on finding a different place I think this Friday was my last straw. read more

I have been coming here twice a week since December. I have tried at least 4 other PT places and well, I won't lie this place isn't the bestest (like has room for improvements) but it is really good. All the therapists are friendly, they talk and joke around with each other and with patients and thus it sometimes feel like you are getting your nails done. But I think that is to ease the tension because some of the patients are in for very serious injury where you can hear ouies. My therapist is John and he is very helpful and super friendly. He is always dependable and he always has good things to say. He is also super observant and would tell you things like he saw me walk and ask if right side is bothering more today. It is always packed here so once in a while when there are only 3 or 4 patients around it feels much quiet and nice but seeing a lot of patients doing different movements like walking sideways or bouncing balls is interesting to watch. Getting first appt for assessment took under 2 weeks but after that, sessions are always available even on the day of. I really like this as Ive been to PTs where you have to wait over 3 weeks for a session because therapists would quit every week. With all the neck back and arm pains I usually cant sleep at night sometimes even with sleeping pill but I feel relaxed here and take naps here during sessions. read more

He's the best and when I started coming into their office back in November, my calves were in really bad pain. 10 was the worst now I feel less pain and like a brand new person. Mr John is the best of best along with his assistant Andrew. I give them 20 stars plus. They both care about patients, are very professional, and very kind and hard working people. Excellent place for Physical Therapy. I had a lot of pain and I needed help because I have a deep torn meniscus root tear and also bad inflammation from an injury from working out. I used to be on a cane for months and was limping. After seeing Dr Mike and staff I have seen improvements from all the things Hope staff have had me doing. Dr Michael, Al and Drew are amazing. They care so much and really are so nice . I no longer need a cane and am going back to do Zumba at 24 hour fitness. I now feel way better and am so lucky. This is my first time needing to go to physical therapy. I've been coming here for a few years now since I had a compound fracture of my left ankle. I had a 6-in plate and five screws put into my ankle due to this injury . It was over a year since my injury and I started having complications with the hardware that was in my ankle so the doctors agreed that it was time for it to come out. It was like night and day discomfort in my ankle after having a hardware removed. The large screw had broke which is common cuz those two bones are meant to move and most times it's okay to leave the hardware in unless you're having unforeseen circumstances of additional pain I had fully recovered. The therapist I had was John he was amazing, very informative and even if I wasn't working with him directly at the times doing my exercises he would notice if I was walking by or something he would make comment on noticing something and ask if something else was bothering me . He even was surprised how quick I recovered and got back to full range of motion. I am now going there for my left shoulder which is almost Frozen I am working with John with that as well. I think he's an amazing therapist as well as it's I think kind of cool once we know what exercises we need to do we do those and then work with the therapist. Even with everything with my therapy was going really well but the front office has something to be desired. I recently mentioned my concerns with Michael and regards to the front office and he's aware of certain staff members not being all that approachable. Obviously I'm at the first one to mention how it is to deal with the front office. I know they get really busy and everything since I have worked in an office environment before I can get kind of crazy but there's no excuse not to call people back for days on end. I mean how many times does a client need to call before they get through to somebody it doesn't matter what time of day it's the same story. And this is only gotten worse with them getting more clients. I'm glad they're thriving since Michael said they're the only practice in a 5-mile radius that's family owned. So I know that's a struggle probably but still the office needs to get it together. I only gave as high as I did for stars due to the therapy staff being amazing. read more

Over-the-top quality care! Everyone is very sweet and knowledgeable. I've been coming here for a few months for two different issues my neck and my back.The aide starts you off with heat to help the concerned area then you move to workout and stretches. Afterward, the PT joins in and helps with mobility and increase range of motion as well as information with managing pain. I came in to have a review of my neck as it was tilted to the left and really stiff. I ended up having Michael Cao as my physical therapist. He is great. I feel like I have improved 69-70%. I don't have as much stiffness in my neck. I am also able to turn side to side and up and down a lot more. I would recommend this physical therapy. The people are nice and work well with each other as well as with scheduling appointments for clients. Keep up the great work. read more

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Hope Physical Therapy. The level of compassion and empathy is beyond compare with any other physical therapy facility I have ever experienced. My 93 year old father was referred to Hope PT by two different doctors for rehab on his knee. He is at an age where he has bone on bone and due to other health issues no one will do surgery on him. I have been taking him to Hope for 3 weeks now and he is getting stronger each day. John, his PT, and all the PT aids are so patient and attentive to my dad. They make sure he is safe at all times and a sure he is doing the exercises properly which I really appreciate. They also make sure he gets into the facility and back to the car without any problems as well. I know in the future if I ever need physical therapy this is the only place I am going to go to. Cookie cutter approach and half the visit is waiting for the physical therapist to work with you. You spend more time with the aids showing you basic exercises and pressing a timer, then walking away. You're on your own most of the visit. Very distracting with the staff chatting among themselves while watching and commenting on whatever is on TV. I don't understand why there is a no shoes policy. This is a place to exercise and rehab. I would understand if there were gym mats, but it's all carpet. I have chronic leg/knee issues, and this goes against any recovery efforts. Receptionist lady is not friendly. I've been here pre-covid as well as during the pandemic. There is no social distancing. Only difference is that they moved two tables to another side of the room. Still very crowded with shared equipment. Physical therapists wear the same pair of gloves throughout the day while moving from patient to patient. read more

I needed physical therapy after a bicycle accident and the physician recommended Hope Physical Therapy and I had a great experience there! Everyone there treated me with great care, and made me work hard in a friendly environment. On each visit I was given exercises to do and then Mike would work on me - giving my muscles a thorough and great workout! I looked forward to each appointment and made fast progress. I have one issue that I want to continue working on, so Alan made videos of my exercises so that I can continue working on this independently. Six weeks ago I limped into their office. I have terrible nerve pain in my upper body since i was 20, and the pain got worse and spread as the years went by. Multiple physical therapists (7), were unable to suggest any exercises to decrease my pain, but after 2 visits to this place, the pain decreased enough for me to get through a whole day of work without too much problem. I think it's due to both the more advanced exercises they came up with for me, as well as the detailed evaluation of my work ergonomics and the fact that the physical therapist checks jn with you at the end of every visit, rather than every six visits as in other places. read more
