Best physical therapy place to go to! 100% recommend for before & after surgery…read more There's always plenty of parking. The disability ramp is near their glass corner (parallel to Mile Square Park/Warner Ave). Designated disability spots are available, but regular spots are often closer to the ramp and front door. If you park near the front entrance, note there are a couple of curb steps with dirt, just a heads-up for anyone with lower body injuries (like I had). The entrance is at the door with the suite number. The other door by the exercise room is just for airflow. I accidentally entered through there my first time! You don't realize how good a place is until you've been somewhere else that's subpar or just plain awful. Before surgery, I went to another PT office for ROM. It was okay, but the strong cleaning chemical smell stuck to my clothes and bothered me. I never had that issue at Hope PT. I came to Hope PT unsure if I'd get surgery and wanted to strengthen my leg first. My consultation was with Alex, who was friendly and informative. During prehab, David worked with me and was fantastic: empathetic, hands-on, and helped me trust the process. Drew and a Japanese PT (sorry, I forgot her name) also helped with exercises. I love the vibe here. Staff get along well and there's a strong sense of camaraderie. Even though I don't need a translator, I noticed Drew (not Vietnamese) had learned some Vietnamese phrases. That's fun! Other PTs are native speakers: Mike, Alex, and David, and I think that helps serve the local community. Others also speak Spanish, so the staff here are very inclusive and diverse. After building strength, I still had instability and locking from my injury, so I chose to have surgery. Because I switched insurance networks to get the surgeon I wanted, I was sent to a random PT clinic nearby. I went pre-surgery and... wow. The PTA didn't seem to have read my file. She asked basic, redundant questions and told me not to bend my knee at all because it was "dangerous." That made no sense. I was already biking and doing ankle-weight exercises at Hope, and I literally drove myself there pain-free. I had to explain my situation several times in front of other patients, which felt unprofessional. They had barely any seats in the waiting room, and three were taken by a patient's kids. With my knee injury (which isn't visibly obvious), I barely got a seat. Their chairs were old, flat, and too low for someone recovering from knee surgery. That alone was bad enough, but then I realized the place was on the second floor. A terrible setup for someone post-op. I gave it a second shot, but both sessions involved long wait times (20 to 30 minutes), and lying on their hard treatment beds gave me back pain within 10 minutes, both times. My back never hurt at Hope PT. Only good thing: it was 10 minutes from home. But I'd rather travel farther for better care. After that experience, I asked my surgeon's office if I could go back to Hope PT. Thankfully, the referral was approved! I'm now back post-op and couldn't be happier. I had my post-op consult with Mike, who was friendly and helpful. He even showed me how to neatly roll my ace wrap. I'm now working again with David, Drew, Alan, and others. I feel like I'm in great hands. Compared to that other place, I really appreciate how clean, spacious, punctual, friendly, and well-equipped Hope PT is. There's lots of equipment, space to move, and a great environment for progressing through my multi-phase ACL recovery. So glad I made the switch back!

My mom doesn't speak English, and I help translate, but Laura was incredibly attentive to both of us. She carefully observed my mom's movement and reactions, asked thoughtful questions and never made us feel rushed. Even with the language barrier, she quickly understood what was going on. She took the time to explained everything clearly and showed where the pain may be coming from. By the time we got home, my mom already felt noticeably relief. That surprised us as this was just an initial evaluation. There are many skilled professionals out there, but it's rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients. Laura is exactly that. She brings empathy, patience, and dedication to every session. She even makes early morning appts something we look forward to. We're truly grateful to have found her and feel confident in her care.

Obviously 95% of the work is on you and how much you do at home, but they'll guide you and encourage you. The administrative side of it was easy as well. At each visit, I paid my $25 copay and, for the most part, received one-on-one treatment with a physical therapist. After the initial 5 weeks, I was still experiencing some pain and decided to continue treatment. Unfortunately, the quality of care seemed to decline from there. I would sometimes see an actual physical therapist briefly at the beginning of the appointment, but then I would be passed off to an assistant and essentially work through the same exercises and movements on my own. There were times when I felt I was barely being monitored, including whether I was using proper form. The billing experience was even more frustrating. I later learned that my $25 copay did not cover everything I was being billed for. When I questioned the additional charges, especially since my appointments seemed to consist of essentially the same treatment each time, I was told the charges were based on the billing codes entered by the physical therapist. I contacted my insurance company to understand why these charges were not covered. My insurance company attempted several times to contact the billing department to clarify the charges but was unable to reach the appropriate person. Eventually, I stopped hearing anything about the balance and assumed the issue had been resolved. Now, several months later, I received a collection notice for the same balance I had been trying to resolve in the first place. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing, particularly because I made an effort to address the charges before they ever reached this point. I see that other people have had positive experiences with this location, but unfortunately, mine was not one of them. Between the decline in the quality and attentiveness of the treatment and the way the billing issue was handled, I would not recommend this location to anyone I know. I'm sharing my experience so others know to pay close attention to both the level of care they are receiving and exactly what is being billed to their insurance.

They have lots of help (ie interns) and helped me with a stubborn back problem and painful rotator. When I first arrived, I was stiff and bent over in pain due a muscle back issue. They ran me through a vigorous 1 hour session, twice a week and included a series of resistance and stretching exercises, bands and weights. After the session ended, I found myself exhausted and later toward the end, invigorated. There were times when I walked out thinking I should go out to the basketball court and challenge anyone to a full court game. I'm 69 and delusional. Still, it showed me the value of a strong stretching and resistance program on a continuous basis. At least that's what I learned from it. I tip my hat to Brittany, Nathan, Sidney, Anish, Kristen and the others who helped me. For me, the location was ideal (close to home) but if you're looking for a great staff who have the patience of a saint but the perseverance to get you to push yourself so as to reach your goals, pick these guys!
