I was experiencing the worst neck pain of my entire life last week and it was really making my day-to-day tasks unbearable. For 6 whole days I was taking cabs to work because walking hurt too much, I couldn't sleep and no amount of tiger balm and advil seemed to be helping. A friend suggested a massage, but I had never been for one before and was doubtful that it would really do much of anything. Regardless, I started searching around for a RMT and after reading the wonderful Yelp reviews, decided to give Gesund a shot. Despite being completely out of my element, my mind and worries were immediately put at ease upon entering the premises. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. My RMT, Yvonne, took the time to figure out where I was experiencing pain and explained what she was going to do to help me. She made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that she genuinely wanted to alleviate the pain that I was experiencing. It's remarkably evident that she loves what she does and that's she is exceptional at it. After my massage, Yvonne showed me techniques that I could do at home to continue treatment on my neck. She even sent me an e-mail recapping these techniques for my reference. By the next day my neck was almost 100% better and I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be returning to Gesund and I highly recommend it!

A good massage: - Starts on time - You get the amount of time you paid for (lots of RMTs start late and/or finish early) - Targets the areas you requested (I've had massage therapists ask me what areas I'd like to focus on. I usually say the "mid-back." They ignore that, and give me something I didn't ask for). - Adjusts the pressure based on my preference. Tanya delivered on all that and more. As a bonus, she has snacks in her clinic. All in all, I can't recommend her and her clinic enough.

Therapists at TSC will do traditional Shiatsu and also Acupuncture .They also use "moxibustion" and now have added a very interesting Japanese oil massage. Some of the therapists are RMT or have the acupuncture certification. The therapist I see most often (when she is available) is Chiho Yamaguchi . Thanks to TSC.
