He first drove us around Portland and explained the geography of the city, then we visited Pittock Mansion, where he shared a bunch of interesting facts and history. Next, we went to the International Rose Test Garden, where we got to walk around and literally stop to smell the roses. Afterward, Peter continued showing us around Portland and sharing interesting facts along the way. Since we had a little extra time, we also stopped at Mt. Tabor Park, and we ended the tour with a visit to Voodoo Doughnut before Peter dropped us back off at our hotel. Overall, we had an amazing time! I just did a day long float with Bryan at Riverwise and had a blast! Bryan is a wealth of…read moreknowledge when it comes to fly fishing for Steelhead and Salmon. As a new-ish fly fisherman myself, it helped so much to ask him all my questions and get valuable insights about my home waters here near Portland. He taught me how to spey cast, which was great because I no longer have to worry about getting snagged on my backcast and spent more time fishing instead of untangling or rerigging. One other thing I appreciate about Bryan is his genuine love and concern for the environment. He often picked up trash from other fishers as we visited various spots along the river. I didn't want to deal with Ubers, plus multiple Uber XLs can get expensive. I also wanted a private car that we could play music in. We had a GREAT experience! I emailed with the company for months beforehand, they communicated well and gave me a quote with no hidden fees. Our driver, Zhieco, was super nice and professional, he opened all the doors for us every time we got in or out, and when we asked him questions he was chatty and good company. The SUV was very spacious and the actual ride was very smooth. Zhieco arrived early to pick us up which was appreciated, and there were no issues at all. Definitely would recommend!!!:)
