    Multnomah falls.

Really nice tour. All the stops were worthwhile. My favorite was Maltnomah Falls. We spent around 30 minutes there, which gave us plenty of time to go on the bridge and walk around. It was raining, and they provided umbrellas, which I thought was a nice touch.

Pete was wonderful! Very informative/great energy. Felt super comfortable throughout the tour (and that's coming from an anxious solo-traveling girlie). Book the tour, it was so worth it!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Peter, the son from the father/son run business, was our tour guide and he was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. His booming voice, impressive knowledge of the sites on the tour, and fantastic personality made this tour something special for my son and me. I highly recommend this half day tour (Columbia River Gorge Tour) to anyone who is interested in seeing the scenery just outside Portland.

What a great experience! My boyfriend and I visited Portland for the first time and I booked this tour so we can have a better idea of things outside of the city. I am so glad we did. Pete was hands down the most memorable part of our trip. He picked us up from our hotel in downtown and the adventure begun. This man has an answer for literally any question you may have, on or off topic. An information booth...a walking encyclopedia! He loves his home and is very in tune with much of its history. Prior to our tour, I reviewed the itinerary, but I feel like we saw 10,000 things more than just that. So many waterfalls! SO MANY! We passed by so many title towns and neighborhoods on the way to the primary locations and it was just so interesting to see how different things are there as opposed to our home in LA. Not to mention Pete had a story for us along the way for many of the spots we passed by. The scenery was so breathtaking, not to mention being as up close to the waterfalls as we were able to be. There were 2 small optional hiking routes we opted into and it was extremely doable (I'm not a hiker, or active at all, so take it from me - you can do it!) Long story short, we highly recommend this tour. It would not have been the same had we not have been with Pete, we were very lucky to have come across him and this amazing tour. Clean vehicle, safe driver, great car, personable, polite, on time (early), 5 stars all around! THANKS PETE!

Review for the Columbia River Gorge Tour They offer several tours but we chose the Columbia River Gorge Tour. I had booked this tour online two weeks prior to flying to Oregon. Confirmation and receipt was immediate. Communication was great too... originally, we were confirmed for a Saturday but Pete, owner, called me and asked if we could change the date to Sunday so we could double up with another couple. We didn't mind so we agreed. When Pete asked me where we were staying I might have given him a little scare when I said Seaside. Seaside is some 80 miles from Portland and he probably thought he would have to drive there to pick us up. I assured him that we will be driving to Portland and even be at the same place as the other couple. Pete was prompt at picking us up at said location. Immediately, he started telling us stories and historic facts as we left Portland to take us to our journey of the Columbia River Gorge Tour. We stopped at several places including these beautiful sites: * Bridge of the Gods * Bonneville Dam Fish Hatchery * Horsetail Falls * Multnomah Falls * Shepperd's Dell * Latourell Falls * Vista House at Crown Point We had plenty of photo opportunities as Pete gave us enough time to enjoy the scenic sites and waterfalls. We even did a little hiking. This was a nice personal tour, there were only four of us and we didn't have to do any driving and contend with the traffic and struggle looking for parking spots. The beautiful weather during Memorial Day weekend brought many visitors and tourists out to the falls. The tour was about 4 hours long. There is a morning and an afternoon tour you can choose from. Bring camera (optional) and wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking/hiking on uneven trails and terrain towards the waterfalls. Great experience! Would book with them again. Thank you, Pete! Review #1381

We booked Oregon Tour Co. through Trip Advisor. Everything went perfectly. Peter phoned us the day before to confirm our pick up location and time. The tour itself was fantastic. Peter was the perfect guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy chatting with everyone throughout the trip. The Falls Selections were the best. We look forward to booking the Oregon Tour Co. for future tours.

May 2023 We highly recommend Oregon Tour Company! We requested a private tour for four with specific sites, including the Columbia River Gorge and the incredible Multnomah Falls and others along the drive, lunch in cute Hood River, then Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. Pete and Peter Woodburn, father and son, put together the perfect 6-hour trip with Peter driving and showing off everything of interest or beauty along the way, while explaining interesting history and details that I'd never known, even after 25 years of living in Portland. The duo trace their family back to the Oregon Trail era, and their love of the area, knowledge, and enthusiasm really make the tour a special day, to be a great memory.

The Oregon Tour Co. is a son and pop business that has been rated one of the best tours in Oregon over the past decade. They have multiple options for yours that include Mt. Hood tour, Oregon Coastal Tour, Vineyard/Winery tour, the Columbia River Gorge Tour and the Portland City tour. My fiancé chose the The Columbia River Gorge Tour to visit the most beautiful waterfalls Oregon has to offer. Our tour guide Peter was hands down one of the best tour guides I have had in any past tours I've been on. Peter knew his facts about Portland, Oregon, the animals in Portland and understands the wildlife and nature when exploring the beautiful wanderlust Oregon has to offer. Peter was able to answer any question we had about Portland and Oregon in general. Peter and his family has been living in Portland Oregon for over 4 generations and his knowledge is filled with fascinating facts about Oregon. Peter truly shows how much he loves and cares about Oregon and the nature that makes Oregon unique. Our tour was only us two and two other visitors who were also from California ironically. Our experience felt like a private tour experience! Peter knows his way all along the mountains and we were able to stop at every waterfall that Portland Oregon has to offer, including the famous Multinomah falls, the unique Horsetail falls, and our favorite on the trip; the Latourell falls. Peter also showed us unique Mo emery's including the Bridal Veil post office (2nd smallest functioning post office in the country), as well as the beautiful view of the Gorge River from the Vista Viewpoint House. Words and pictures could not describe the true beauty you witness on this tour from the waterfalls, to the unique towns you pass by, and the amazing views you get from the Vista House. This tour was worth every penny! Peter also picked us up from our Air B n B as well as dropped us back off. Peter was seriously an amazing guide who made my fiancé and I's overall trip highlight. I wish we were around for a couple more days, so we could take advantage of other tours the family company takes visitors on! Bottom line.... this is a MUST! I absolutely recommend this tour or any other tours Peter guides! He truly loves Oregon and showing visitors and tourists understand and take in the beauty of the natural wanderlust known as "The Gorge."

If you ever find yourself in Portland wondering what it all means and whether anything beautiful…read morestill exists in the world, I suggest you take the Full Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour with Infinite Oregon Tours. I did. It reminded me that the Earth can still knock the wind out of you with its splendor. Also, the van had air conditioning, which helped. Our tour guide, Cameron, was something of a poet laureate of the Pacific Northwest. He communicated with clarity and warmth before, during, and after the tour, encouraging us to reach out for restaurant tips, activity suggestions, or perhaps answers to life's larger questions. He was also a masterful driver, piloting that oversized tour van with the precision of a brain surgeon threading a needle in a windstorm. The roads were narrow, the turns tight, and yet we floated along like a leaf in a very friendly breeze. We were picked up right from our hotel lobby, which I found easy & efficient. The van was indeed full and perhaps a little cozy, but we were strangers together for only a moment. Camaraderie forms quickly when you're chasing wonder. Our first stop was Ecola State Park. If you've ever looked out across a vast seascape and felt something stir in your gut that wasn't just breakfast, you'll understand. Green cliffs dove headfirst into the Pacific. We hiked along trails that flirted with the edge of the continent itself. Also, if the site feels familiar, its because a few scenes from The Goonies was filmed there. Then came Indian Beach, our first touch of sand and sea. The Pacific was doing its eternal breathing in and out, and we stood in awe. Next was Cannon Beach, where we had ninety minutes to roam, eat, and pretend time wasn't real. Cameron gave us a narrated lap of the town, tossing out recommendations like a benevolent game show host. Our group found seafood that tasted like it had been caught moments before and ice cream that somehow made you nostalgic for a childhood you might not have had. The afternoon brought us to Haystack Rock, where we gazed upon it from different angles like museumgoers admiring a sculpture that just so happened to be part of the Earth's own anatomy. We wandered tidal pools that teemed with creatures: sea stars, anemones, crabs, fish, alien and familiar all at once. It was like watching the planet whisper to itself. The return to Portland took about ninety minutes. We were dropped off back at our hotel, full of stories and maybe even a little wisdom. The tour does require walking over uneven ground, so if you have mobility concerns, be aware. That said, Cameron showed great compassion and made adjustments for a fellow traveler who needed them. That kind of care is rare and beautiful. In about nine hours, we saw more beauty than some people see in a lifetime. If you're short on time but hungry for meaning, this tour is a hell of a good place to start. Five stars. No question.

The Oregon coast is very beautiful and the coastal town we stopped in for lunch (Cannon Beach) offered lots of restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities. At one stop we were surrounded by moose, who casually strolled along posing for photos while eating. The weather on the day we went was absolutely perfect and everyone in the completely full van got to know each other a little bit. It was a very enjoyable trip that I really recommend as a way to see the Oregon coast.
