The timing was awful as I was set to start driving to Boston right after work for my daughter's wedding. Not only did they take me right away, but they were able to replace both break lines before my shift ended. I can only imagine how disruptive it was to their schedule. They could have charged me triple what they actually did and I would have happily paid. It would still have been cheaper than two plane tickets and a rental car with less than 24 hours notice. The woman on the phone was shockingly rude -- talking over me, blaming my insurance for "lying," giving attitude when I simply asked for an update, and acting annoyed that I even needed help. I genuinely wish I had recorded the call. If this is who answers your phones, fire your dispatcher. The timeline speaks for itself: * Called at 7:30 AM * Got a confirmation text at 8:02 AM saying arrival would be within 45-75 minutes * Tow truck didn't show up until 10:15 AM When I pointed out the delay (calmly), she cut me off mid-sentence blaming the insurance and dryly asked if I wanted to cancel -- after I had already waited over an hour in the winter. Absolutely unprofessional and honestly disgusting. And the kicker? Yelp is full of the exact same complaints. So clearly this isn't an off day -- it's who they are. McCoy Services and the dispatcher wasted my time, my money, and treated me like I was an inconvenience instead of a stranded customer.
