Located behind the affiliated Hopkinson's Butcher, Hopkinson's Deli is one of two excellent delis in Lymm village centre. Its competitor has the added pressure of also being a bakery and so perhaps has a less relaxed atmosphere. In quality though, there is nothing between Sexton's Bakery and Hokinson's Deli. The only difference is stock and service. Being a dedicated deli means that Hopkinson's can focus its efforts on providing more choice and more relaxed customer service.
To eat in is a little expensive but as a takeaway lunch option Hopkinson's equal to anywhere. Among other things they serve a wide selection of sandwiches, fillings, meats, chutneys and vegetables, all perfect for the health conscious person in need of a satisfying lunch.
If you've got the time and money it's also a lovely place to stop and have a cup of tea, as the affectionately decorated interior gives you the feeling you're sitting in a place that really appreciates quality and atmosphere. Whilst the service can sometimes be slow the quality is always good, as the tension between the two competing delis keeps each one striving for that extra edge.
Basically a delightful little place that'd be a shame to miss. read more
