We checked in at arrival and waited over 15mins in the car without anyone telling us they were ready for us and to come in. Nope. So we went inside. Guess what? They knew we were there, knew we had an appointment and had just decided to ignore us. We confirmed they knew we were there and the lady at the desk said "I've never done that and we don't do that here". Wait! What?! For context - "that" is a hair follicle test. The test is listed on their website and you have to select it in order to make the appointment. According to their website, this is a test they perform at the exact location I scheduled an appointment at (you sort locations based o service needed, so......). If all that was frustrating enough, she didn't even care enough to offer any assistance in figuring out how to get the testing done or which lab could help. Unbelievable. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of time, gas and energy.

Arrived without an appointment but still seen within 15 minutes. For longer wait times, they even had those call coasters like at the restaurants, that you can shop inside Safeway but coaster will light up when it's your turn. That's pretty cool! The phlebotomist was extremely nice and professional. Her blood drawing skills were excellent and barely felt the blood draw stick. Plenty of supermarket parking space and easy to get to. This will definitely be my new go to lab draw site!

Unnecessarily difficult to schedule appointments. I have had repeated extreme difficulty…read morescheduling with UC Health Breast Diagnostic Center. This time is the last time. They hold up faxed in orders for days, over physicians in network and then triage them incorrectly to put in orders in the system. This is the second time in six months they have messed this up and then internal processes prevent resolution for days and days. In my case I have both in network and out of network physicians and most of my recent history is with this facility, so the patient is not a priority, only the doctor. My Dr. faxes in a specific request for an urgent right axial ULTRASOUND and they enter a diagnostic MAMMOGRAM followed by an ultrasound. Literally takes 6 business days of me calling and then they resort to saying they have to call my doctor back! Just lost my business because you can't read a simple doctors order. I am over it entirely.
