Recently came back from a long trip and the last thing on earth we wanted to do was the 6 loads of laundry we left behind or the ultra dirty clothes still in our luggage. I printed up the groupon for 40 lbs of laundry for $20. Heaved my laundry into my car and headed down. They open at 7am so it was really perfect before work to get those clothes off my mind. Weighed in at the intake and a nice woman said she'd call me when they were done. I was new so I left my phone # and address on a sticky note at the counter. The whole day passed and I never got a phone call. Late in the day before I left work, I figured I'd give them a shout. A different girl answered and confirmed my clothes were done. No call. but hey they are done! I got there and they had already put my clean clothes in a laundry carrier to make it a litle easier to get outside to my car. Because I had gone over the 40 lbs ( yeah tons of clothes it was embarrassing almost) Easy checkout, processed the groupon without any issue and they have a tablet POS system so you can sign with your finger and get an email receipt! Quarters, dollar bills, and a credit card all worked. I had a hard time figuring out how much detergent to use. My guess seemed close enough. The machine was very tall, over my 5'10" head. I didn't find the step stool until after I started it. There is a step stool to find. However, I have never seen anyone working there, and the phone goes unanswered. With no supervision, some customers load up driers and leave, blocking others from using them, which is especially a problem when half the driers are not working.

I'm sure the staff used it as directed, but the blanket still came back stinking of scented detergent/fabric softener. So stinky that it has made the coverlet and sheets on the bed stink too (even after washing them).. So obviously they don't have a washer/dryer set aside for those who prefer not to cover their laundry (and thereby themselves) with chemical scents that are bad for their health, the environment, and their clothing/bedding. Everyone, please switch to an unscented detergent and oxygen bleach, stop using fabric softener (which is not only unhealthy but destroys textiles), and try wool dryer balls.

I like this system a lot, as I don't have to worry about certain items being more expensive and I know what I'm going to be paying without waiting for someone to come and weigh everything. My husband and I have done some testing and found that the bags come out to a little under twice as much cost as doing the laundry ourselves at the laundromat. It depends, though, if that time is worth it to you. It is to us. ONLINE ORDERING: They have a nice online ordering system. You can specify days/times and locations for pick-up/drop-off. On that first menu, they also have additional services for around $4-$6 fees such as stain removal, special delicate wash, same-day service and other things I've apparently never used because I can't think of them. SERVICE: Service has been prompt. Clothes has been delivered well-folded, although packed in a plastic bag rather than a paper bag (so things do get wrinkled) and nothing lost as of yet. I order the unattended drop-off/pick-up and I like that I get email notifications when that has happened. If it is a day I'm off work, I actually do head home to bring in the laundry (tip for management if you are reading this - putting undergarments somewhere hidden would be appreciated; the bags are clear!) UPDATES: *March 2016: So far great service. Highly recommended. *July 2016: I've had two white items come back recently with stains. A few days later: Good response from Laundry Party (Ben) via email that attests to how much they do seem to care about customers.
