This is one of the best breakfast bagel spots in south jersey. I always get an egg bagel with pork roll, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The bagels here are pretty delicious, but some of them sell out fast so it's good to get there early or call ahead - especially during the summer time. They're usually pretty quick and efficient when we order with them. They are a little small so if it's busy, expect to wait outside for them to call out your order. We have also enjoyed their lox and cream cheese sandwich, as well. They do have a good variety of cream cheese spreads for those who like sweet or savory flavors. I'm always looking for bargains and I was quite put off by the $2 price tag but the fact is, they are so large and dense that a 1/2 bagel is the equivalent of 1 Manhattan Bagel AND they are of superior quality. Chewy and satisfying at room temperature or terrific toasted. Even the toppings are better. If anyone has had an onion roll or bialy, they use that type of onion instead of the standard dried variety topping. It really makes a difference. I get a half dozen, cut them in half and freeze. Visiting the area and told this place is legit because the specialize in bagels specifically. The take credit card and and very busy on weekend mornings. There is a 20-25 min wait for your order. But there is a flow of people. I am excited to try my order. Make sure you speak up when your order. It's loud, small and crowded. They take credit card. They also have a loud speaker outside so you can hear your order and not have to wait inside. He has its packed/crowded. Prices appear to be rather steep. Parking is plentiful because most of the stores on this strip mall are closed. The bagels are large! I am not used to no onions or capers with my lox's. When I called, the girl told me they charge for online ordering but because they didn't inform me they would reimburse me the $9.44. When I open the door the smells reminded me of Sunday morning breakfast growing up. They had a breakfast and lunch menu, but I ended up going with the special "bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel". Sounds simple enough but I found there a ways it can be screwed up. Anyone who likes a breakfast sandwich knows some places use fried eggs others scramble them. Some cut the sandwich and half others leave them whole. I like my eggs scrambled and my sandwich whole with a lotta bacon. I'm sure they would've done it my way if I asked. They make it with fried eggs and they cut the sandwich in half, but it was still pretty good. I have no complaints. The staff is very friendly and they have a nice selection of bagels, special cream cheese spreads, muffins, cookies and some other baked goods. I have to come back this way next week and I am definitely stopping for a sandwich and a cuppa coffee. read more

It would be dangerous if I was within walking distance of this place. I love having a local bagel shop again, and I'm very pleased so far with the dozen+ bagel orders I've gotten here. The bagels are chewy, flavors are consistent, and they are very enjoyable. For anyone who freezes them to make them last, be sure to order them fresh in the morning so you aren't freezing a slightly stale bagel (and it's so worth waking up early for these!). There were a few small disappointments with this online order-- we got a jalapeño instead of a cinnamon raisin (they look very similar from the outside) and the sesame was a bit flat-- but bagels are bagels, we'll eat them! This place used to be good, the food is great don't get me wrong, but if you ask me they are price gouging. For my platter they charged me 53 cents for jelly with my toast. And they charge to cut the bagels. And service fee to use a card. This week I got coffee and a spinach and mushroom omelette platter at a nearby diner. It cost me an even 15 bucks. At Hot Bagels I spent 15.50 for the same omelette platter, no coffee. At these prices you can get a nice sit down meal at a diner and spend about the same or even less. read more

Man I really liked this place and they had some of the best bagels outside of new York I've ever had. I got their everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese and it was thick and delicious throughout! I really enjoyed the place as well but they were super busy with a lot of stuff out of stock. There is no question - Hot Bagels and More is the only South Jersey Bagel shop that creates chewy NY City style bagels!! All the other shops create bagels that chew like a kaiser with a hole in the middle! It is all take out but great breakfast selections with an amazing array of bagel options. Get one of their punch cards and eventually you get a free dozen or free sandwich! They are fast and efficient and you can call ahead. My only word of warning is if you are buying one of the specials watch what gets rung up on the register. This morning I could have easily been taken for extra coinage but aha "caught ya!" I made my order through DoorDash. I chose this place because of the Yelp rating and I was sadly disappointed. The delivery came very promptly. The following were ordered: chicken fajita omelette with a bagel and cream cheese, home fries on the side, and a potato omelette sandwich on a bagel. NONE of the food had any actual taste. The use of salt on any of the food is non-existent. The home fries are completely bland and soggy. The bagel quality is definitely there (mainly the reason why this is a 2 star vs 1 star review) but execution on the rest is what makes this falls apart.
