Stopped in late on a Saturday night with my hubby for wings. Our normal spot (Hen House) was closed, so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best with Hot Chicks and they did not disappoint (food-wise). Even the fries were good. Nice to have a back up wing spot. We placed a to-go order and waited inside. The order did take a while to prepare, and I guess that's good because they were fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive. Music was blaring and on-point initially, but I ended up having to wait in the car because it became too explicit. The bar is small and clean. Some can be grungy, but this one looks well-maintained. They have a modern-day juke box which was cool. I also seen a sign that they have a karaoke night for those who like that sort of thing. When we came there were only like 6-7 people there...all at the bar. There is additional seating. Plenty of TVs to watch sports on the walls. Like another reviewer mentioned, this is definitely a bar first and eatery second. Keep that in mind if this spot is bookmarked. So, I finally got around to visiting this place myself as opposed to just sampling their food to-go. And I have to say...this place is quite alright. Nothing special, with the exception of their unusually low priced adult beverages. That, plus their apparent propensity to attract customers who don't mind starting their drinking before noon. But...to each their own, right? Before eventually reviewing this place, I wanted to try more than one dish here. So far, I've had their Philly cheesesteak and their cheeseburger. I've yet to try their hot wings at some point. But from what I've sampled so far, it's all harmlessly fine. Granted, I make a much better cheesesteak at home, I'm not gonna hold that against them. Besides, their fries are effing amazing, y'all! Seriously. The only thing I don't like is how sometimes they tend to over salt them a bit. Otherwise, there's just something about the texture of these things that just....satisfies the rustic side of my palate. The service: dear Gawd, is this woman attentive! I swear, she must have been checking on me every 5 minutes. Literally. And I'm all for attentive service. But this got to the point of being borderline annoying, honestly. All I ordered that day was a cheeseburger with water. Like I said, it wasn't even noon yet, so I had no intention of ordering any real drinks at that time. We stopped in on a Tuesday around 8pm wanting to eat some wings! We saw that this place closed at 10pm so we figured we still had enough time to dine in. When we walked in, we noticed that the bartender was the only employee working out in the front. There were no other employees tending the dining room area, so he had to tend both the bar and the dining room. The sever quickly looked at us when we walked in, but didn't say a thing. We figured it was a "seat yourself" type of deal, so we sat down at the nearest table. The menu was already at the table, so we grabbed one and began to look it over. About a few minutes later, the server (after he was done chatting) decided to finally walk on over to greet us and take our order. We placed our order right away since we were both starving. 20 piece wings (10 asiago parmesan & 10 lemon pepper) One order of fries Two Dr. Peppers After we received our food, a family of three walked in to dine in. It was very obvious that the server was not having it. He looked very upset that this family had walked in. Our drinks sat empty for a while. I had no more ranch and I waited around hoping that the server would decide to come around and check up on us. I did see him standing around checking his phone and hugging some drunk guys at the bar though. The family that came in at 9 looked very disappointed. I saw them each give the server a look like, "bro are you gonna come and check up on us?" We were only checked on twice after getting our food. Our check took ages to arrive and at that point I was so done with this place. The wings may you ask? THEY WERE NOT GOOD!!! The Asiago Parmesan wings were DRENCHED in salt. These wings do have potential though, but they need to calm down with the salt first. The Lemon pepper wings were a disappointment. (they claim it's a customer favorite) Where was the pepper may I ask? All I could taste was the lemon. Did they just squirt some lemon on these? They should be renamed to lemon wings! Oh my God these wings are so good. The owner told me he cooks them fresh! Most wings are 1/2 cooked and then cooked again to save on time he doesn't do that and you can tell by the taste. So good and Karen makes the tea yummy just right. Very clean place and friendly read more

My husband sincerely likes their wings so I wanted to ensure he got them for his birthday. Keep in mind I had already had a bad experience with them before, BUT because he likes them so much I decided to give them another shot. I called and placed the order for the next day, I also paid in full. I ordered 2- 50 piece trays (100). When I showed up to pick them up a young girl appeared confused. She did not know how to go about the problem and kept repeating to me that they did not have an order in place and if I wanted to I could wait but since the "chef" was so busy I would have wait 30 mns to 1 Hr. I had a surprise party going on so waiting around was not an option. I let her know I had indeed placed the order and showed her proof of payment. I also let her know who took my order. She then said "well, you can wait or talk to the chef but that's all I can do if you want the wings. But like I said there is no order for you". Her attitude did not help so I asked to speak with a manager. She called him over the phone. I went over the issues with him and he said he would come to the location to ensure I got my order. He also said he would make it up to us. I explained to him I had to leave and I would have to ask one of the guest to pick up the wings. I also told him he could call me Monday as at the moment I was already too frustrated and I had guests awaiting to surprise my husband. The gentleman never called me. My phone did not have any miscalls from him the following Monday or a vc mail. A friend of us was able to pickup the $130+ order and got it to us 2 minutes before my husband arrived to his surprise party. It is fair to say there wings are indeed very tasty, BUT customer service skills is a ZERO, poor communication and lack of urgency to follow up with a frustrated customer. I'm giving this place a 5 solely because it deserves recognition it clearly lacks and it seems like there should be more updated reviews. We got the chipotle raspberry, exorcist habanero, snickers, and lemon pepper wings If I had any critiques it'd be the lack of blue cheese and the fact that their ranch could be made better. (I'm a dip snob, sorry) The snickers wing is amazing and creative, my husband wasn't a huge fan but being a lover of sweet and savory it combined my two favorite things. Chipotle raspberry was meh but the habanero and lemon pepper wings made up for it in flavor. Found this place easy as it's literally next door to the circle K gas station and about 3-4 minutes from my house. I have to start by saying the customer service here was TERRIBLE! We walked in and just STOOD there looking dumb for about 3/4 minutes trying to see if there was a different location for the register as the girl who was behind the bar WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE US! The place is really small, they don't have regular tables at all. It's definitely a sports bar with bar tables and an actual bar. so why in gods name was there a child actually sitting AT the bar while this man was being served beers I have NO IDEA lol but that's none of my business. Anyway so I had to stop the waitress as she was about to pass us WITHOUT acknowledging us and asked her where we ordered from. She told us we order right where we were standing, she hands us a menu and walks away. About 5 minutes later she still hasn't come back but now there's another woman who is behind the counter, and like the first one she too is not acknowledging us so I LITERALLY had to WAVE my hands while saying "hello" to try and get her attention, mind you we are STANDING near the bar, not sitting, not looking at the menu we're standing ! After getting her attention she comes over takes our order tells us it'll be out soon and that's it. We go sit outside to wait for our food. While waiting for our food outside on the tables the restaurant provides (only two) a dang bird that's on top of the building let's out a whole round of poo about a foot away from me. It was so close both my sister and I felt little poo drops on our legs what was even funnier is the dang bird kept coming close to the edge of the building, would look down at us than would walk away he did that about 3 times before we didn't see him anymore lol. So after almost being killed by falling poo I go inside to see if our order is ready cause at this point it had been about 10-15 minutes. Not only was our food not ready, yet again I was completely ignored. The first woman who "helped" us never apologized for not coming back didn't even say anything smh....after standing there for about 5-7 minutes without so much as a word but they were CLEARLY greeting other customers I felt myself starting to get extremely upset....she finally came over to say that they were still working on our food. I was not about to walk back for a 3rd time so I asked if they could just bring it out when it was ready and she did. We got it home and dug in. We asked for extra crispy and they delivered. They were extra crispy not soggy at all! We both got the 10 piece, she got all flats with lemon pepper flavor (basic ) I got honey hot (so freaking good !!!) and spicy lemon. It comes with one sauce and any extras are .75¢. It was kind of expensive though our meals were about $16 with no sides no drinks nothing. The waitress said they're up charging because of the wing shortage so it was about $2 more than they normally are. Longer story short would definitely order again but never stay and eat. Only phone orders from now on which is what we tried doing but their phone lines were busy for over 8 minutes straight (that's how long it took us to drive from where we were coming from) so hopefully next time they'll actually answer their phones so we can place an OTP order. read more

Great wings. Period. I like the fries, my wife didn't (she's a fry connoisseur). We got nachos and those were good as well, though not exactly something to write home about. The draft selection is minimal, but they usually have at least one rotating tap of some smaller, more delicious beer then the standard light fair. They have NFL Sunday Ticket and MLB extra innings as well (arena down the road doesn't have the MLB package). I drive about 20 miles to this place just for the wings. If the other posters think the wings are bad they should try Wings R Us they have dried, shriveled up wings with that crunch you might be looking for. Hot Chicks has meaty good sized wings. The $9.59 hot buffalo wings are not worth the price, you barely taste the sauce the only good thing about it is the size and how well is cooked. The main problem was how long I had to wait . 30 minutes for 10 wings. Even the gentleman sitting on my right who'd arrived first got his food the same time as I did. Really hit or miss here. The traditional house burger was amazing, and the wings have been decent for the most part. Once we tried the lemon pepper wings and they were drenched in lemon, most went to waste.
