Food was warm, the service was fast, I ordered to go didn't stay in but I don't know what's going on with their TVs they all had like a blue tint on them. The chili fries were ok I think if they used more shredded cheese than can cheese it would make the difference from ok to good. The Hawaiian dog was good I think too much onion on it compared to pineapple, I would expect more pineapple than onion, over all though good dog. The al pastor on top wasn't skimpy so they do give you a nice portion on it. Maybe adding some type of sauce to it so it's not so dry though would make it great. read more

We've been to both the restaurant and the food truck parked off Rich Beem and I feel like the food truck food is better. Hot dog can use a thicker hot dog but otherwise it was really good. The carne asada tacos are also really good, the red salsa is spicy but delicious. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant when going to another restaurant in the same shopping center area and so happy I did!! As your walking in you are welcomed with a very hip version of Mexican music which was nice. You are then presented with the vibrant theme. Since it was our first time here I didn't realize you are suppose to choose a place to sit and then a server comes over..so we went to the counter and that's when he told us we can choose where we want to sit and he started going over the menu. (Our waiter spoke so quick I had to have him repeat himself lol) We ordered the Hawaiian dog with sweet potato fries and a Super dog with regular fries. For drinks we ordered a Mango michelada, glass of water and a Jamaican alfresca. The drinks took a few minutes to come out and then about 7 minutes later our food arrived...honestly it could have been longer but we were having great conversation it didn't seem long at all. Once our food came I was so excited because they presented the food very well! Onto the eating portion!! both dogs were delicious and the sweet potatoes fries were AMAZING!! Just the right amount of crisp to soft ratio and they added powered sugar on top as well that didn't even need to be on them but was a great touch. The condiments that were already placed on each dog was prefect!! The bun was also just right. I can't stand a wet bun and this one wasn't at all. The hot dogs aren't that big but with the bread and the condiments it will fill you up!! The drinks were also really great!! All in all we will be back to try other items!! We were in the mood for hot dogs and this place came up with awesome reviews. We pulled up and it was really busy at 9pm.. We step inside, sit down, and the very friendly waiter comes on over and gives us a menu. There are about 6 different hot dog choices, I believe 4 bratwurst choices, and they also have hamburgers and tacos. Oh and appetizers too!! There is also a huge drink selection both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Our order consisted: One el doggy hot dog: traditional Sonoran hot dog with beans, bacon, green salsa. It is on the spicy side. One el chick dog: grilled chicken pieces with corn and cheese and what I believe is sour cream. Was a little too salty. One order of fried zucchini: crispy and hot! Pieces are big. Kiddo got the loaded fries its canned cheese and weinies with beans she said they were good but would've preferred if she could've picked the meat as she would've gotten steak. The German dog was loaded with veggies on top of an amazing braut in a nice warm delicious tasting pretzel bun. You ever heard the saying "you better butter my buns?" This place butters those buns with this amazing orange colored sauce. The braut my husband had wasn't extremely spicy but it had the perfect amount of spice and the coleslaw that came with it was on point. I almost forgot to mention the Agua frescas here are AMAZING. So there is a bit of a backstory behind how me and hubby and I ended up here today. It was supposed to be sushi night at kona grill. BUT.. I forgot my wallet with both of our credit/debit cards in it at home approximately 30 minutes away. So by the time we fought traffic to get home kona was about to close. Thus making the second trip back pointless. We were both kind of mad at me not gonna lie. Any who the hubs who is kinda on the hangry side tells me to pick something close and "cheap". Welp this place came up on yelp and I also work basically across the street so I figured hey why not give it a try. So upon opening the door we were greeted with BLASTING cumbia music. It had a very quinceneria vibe to it. Not in the fun open bar type way either. So we order our drinks and then dorinachos for an app. The appetizer came about 5 minutes before the drinks. OK weird right and no water either (that we did request)? As we were snacking really really mediocre nachos the saving grace arrived table side. The red beers. They were very good I had the mango and hubs had the clamato BOTH of them were on point. Totally yummy. Back to the nachos think bright yellow cheese from a corner store topped with some random ass beans. It was supposed to come with salsa but apparently it is to be requested even if it's on the item description! ? Wtf. *also I noticed in the menu it said winnies instead of weenies. I guess nobody bothered to proofread the menu before printing it. Lastly the main staple of this place. The "winnies". We ordered the German and the Chipotle bratwursts. I was not a fan at all of the sausage. The casing was so thick and chewy it grossed me out. The grilled veggies were good but it's kinda hard to mess that up. The pretzel bun was soft but when you picked ,it up to bite it it basically disintegrated the bottom of the bun.It was Really messy. The bill ended up being 43$ so for that price we should have just gone elsewhere and eaten something decent. At least worth the money. Went during lunch time and this really hit the spot! There was only one other person at the time I came with my mom and baby, so we were waited on almost immediately and our food came out very quickly. Portion sizes were much bigger than we expected, so we had a lot of leftovers. All our orders came out accurate and were so delicious! They also had music playing that kept my 1 year old dancing and entertained the whole time. Wow, so awesome that we come all the way from the West side just to eat their food. Get their micheladas! I get mine sans alcohol. They are HUGE and so tasty, well worth the price. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We love their special hot dogs and their tacos are delicious. One thing I do recommend is printing out a receipt with the list of food that each table has ordered and giving it to the customers. I like to see what I am paying for so I am not accidentally double charged. One thing that happened to my hubby when we went the first time was that the glass mug broke when he lifted it off the table to take a sip of his drink. The bottom of the mug cracked and completely broke off! The waitresses were quick to come over and clean up the liquid that spilled all over the place. They were super nice but also gave us a look as if to say "what did you guys do to our mug". LOL. We had to explain that it just broke on accidentally. This is a great place to catch great American food with a Mexican twist! The server gave us a great warm welcome especially for it being our first time.
