The people there are really fun to talk to! Great customer service and most definitely would come here while visiting Jackson, Ohio.

Follow the BaldWhiteGuyReviews on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/BaldWhiteGuyReviews…read more If you follow the BaldWhiteGuy, you know that my absolute go-to Mexican place in Washington CH is El Dorado Mexican Restaurant/ Washington Court House Location, even though I literally have to drive right by El Cañon Mexican Restaurant Washington Court House to get there. But last night? We decided to mix it up a bit. I know, I know... living recklessly. I might even stay up past 9 PM this weekend. EL CANON 1381 Leesburg Avenue, Washington CH https://elcanonwch.com Conveniently located right in the shadow of Walmart (so you can go buy sweatpants immediately after you eat too much), this place is actually nicely decorated. They've fully embraced the culture. Bright colors, painted tables and booths, and enough margarita choices to make a liberal arts major forget about their student loans for a few hours. We found a seat right away. Drinks ordered: Waters for both of us. Because we know how to party, and in this economy, I'm rationing my beverage budget. Then the appetizers started. Listen to me carefully. The chips and salsa guy came out of nowhere and made a noise I have never heard come from a human being. It shocked me. It scared me. I thought we were under attack. He was running around screaming like he had Tourette's syndrome, and I guess he is known for this! He is VERY into it. I was thinking maybe some government-funded medication might help the guy out, but anyway... you definitely get dinner and a show. The menu is extensive. Seriously, I suggest doing some pre-arrival homework unless you want to sit there and read the menu for 20 minutes while everyone else starves. There are way too many choices (which can be good, I guess). I just relied on the pictures like a toddler. Eventually, I decided on the Burrito Veracruz. * "Free" Chips and Salsa: What you've come to expect. Mediocre, I suppose, but effective. * Cheese Sauce: Decent. Had a bit of spice. But $4.49 for what amounted to about 15 chips worth of dips seems a bit excessive. Highway robbery. * The Burrito: Rice, Chicken, Shrimp, Chorizo, Cheese sauce and... the controversial item: PINEAPPLE. It was really good. Super filling. The flavors mixed together really well. If you think pineapple doesn't belong in Mexican food, you're probably one of those people who think the government always knows best. Fight me. I would absolutely order this again. My smoking hot date went with the Camarones Ala Diablo. For those of you who skipped high school Spanish to go smoke behind the bleachers, let me translate these Mexican words for you: Camarones = Shrimp. Ala Diablo = The Devil. Devil Shrimp. Sounds like a terrible heavy metal band, but it's basically shrimp cooked in a red chili sauce. The verdict? She liked this better here than anywhere else she has had it! She loved that the shrimp was grilled well and had a bit of "crispiness" to it. It packed a bit of heat, but not that "shit in the creek" heat where you regret all your life choices the next morning. Great atmosphere, despite the periodic heart attacks courtesy of the screaming chips and salsa guy. Rating: 5 out of 5 BaldHeads ‍‍‍‍‍ Food was good - service was decent. If you're in the mood for some cookie-cutter Mexican, stop by. They will deliver. Smash that share button and help a bald guy out! #OldMan #BaldWhiteGuyReviews #WashingtonCH #SupportLocal #ElCanon #ChipsAndSalsaTrauma Random Question of the Day: Question: Does pineapple belong in a burrito (or on pizza), or is it a complete crime against humanity? Sound off in the comments, I want to see the drama!
