If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is the place! The steak tacos were AMAZING! Well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and the tortillas were fresh, and so were the onion and cilantro! My kids had the steak quesadilla and it was also really great! We are so happy to have found a good Mexican restaurant locally (as it seems like it is hard to find great Mexican food in Ohio), and their prices are very fair! The chips and salsa were also spot on. We tried the cheese dip, and it was ok, but the salsa was great if you don't like spicy salsa. Just the right amount of cilantro and it was so fresh! Found myself here by accident, a near by restaurant had an extremely long wait, so decided to test out the waters here as they did not seem crowded. This place you order your food then find a seat. I had the torta and it was great. This is a small place, but the service is fast. Nice booths to sit at. Chips and salsa accompanied. The bread was soft and had great flavor. The steak and chicken were cooked well. They had a delightful tomatillo hot sauce that was a perfect pairing. Found by accident, but will be back! read more

Service was great but food is overrated. I got a steak torta and the steak was chopped in so small of pieces that it was dry. They told my wife that the cheese dip wasn't spicy but it was full of jalapeños. The server said it didn't have jalapeños in it but you could see it was full of them. They must be giving their own ratings. I went there when it first opened and didn't car much for it but with all the revues I thought I would try it again and get something different. Still not good. This is a family run Mexican restaurant in a shopping center. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We ordered four taco's to go. Two carne asada, one chicken and one carnita. All four were well prepared and very flavorful. We will be back when traveling thru Ohio again! read more

We were on our annual look-at-the-fall colors tour in Hocking Hills area and decided to have Mexican food for lunch. Great idea! And great choice. This small strip-mall restaurant sure fit the bill. Hubby doesn't eat meat so he had a bean burrito lunch special. The burrito was huge and he said the best he's ever had. I ordered two tacos. One chicken and one pork. They came with cilantro and onions on top. They were superb. Fresh and filling without overdoing it. We were also served chips and salsa with two sauces on the side. Tacos from Heaven. Some of the best restaurants are tucked into the most unlikely settings. This taqueria, buzzing along in an elderly strip mall, transports me to Mexico in a single bite. Cheese-free, small, soft, double corn tortillas are loaded heavy with delicious meats--pollo, pork and steak--finely chopped onions, parsley and fresh cilantro. Get three of each and take some home. Two sauces--a robust hot red chile and a milder guacamole green that is to die for. I ordered a steak torta just to see what the fuss is about and was knocked out by the thin, fragrant fresh-baked shell packed with carne asada, provolone and peppers. Hearty but not bread-heavy; perfect. Refritos are first class, with whole and mashed pintos in a creamy base, and the rice is tasty, orange and fluffy. There's ample seating in hand-painted booths. On my second visit I ordered takeout, enough for four meals at home, and paid $30. The proprietors are absolutely lovely. Go. Eat. Tell your friends. You can top it off with a delicious boba tea right across the street. Worth the drive from anywhere. read more
