Security and staff are quick to process and get you in. May want to pregame as drinks are a bit spendy here. Restrooms set off from the floor with dedicated entrance and exit to make the traffic flow good. Good smaller venue to get up close and personal for a show.

The high ceilings make it seem huge. The stage is large and spacious too. They had this red billowing curtain covering for the opening acts before the main band. Sound was great. Also the lighting effects for the different songs was good. We were quite close to the stage so had a great view. Great show! Restrooms are in the back and even though at the end of the show the women's had a long line but it moved fast. There are 17 stalls so that definitely helps move the line. There is a merch counter and a bar. The bar closed at the end of the show, so if you're looking for drinks or water make sure to get them during the show. Overall we had a great time!

Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit could perform in a bathroom and it would be stellar, but both of their shows this past Friday and Saturday night were phenomenal! The Wang turned out to be a great venue. It is a beautiful historic theatre, but entry (including security) was easy and stress free. The band sounded amazing! We expected a "seated" audience, but as soon as the band took the stage, the entire audience remained on their feet swaying and enjoying the music and vibes. While I enjoyed this environment, I can see that elderly attendees, shorter patrons, or those with difficulty standing for 2+ hours might have been disappointed. No awful parking issues like Gillette or the Xfinity Center, better views than TD Garden...I'd love to see more rock concerts at the Wang!

Very loud space and could use some more seating for the event, but was a fun gathering for ISDA hosted by LSEG. Cool venue, contains both the Wang and Shubert Theatres. An extraordinary gift in 1983 from Dr. An Wang, founder of Wang Laboratories, ushered in the era of The Wang Center for the Performing Arts and lead to a total of around $10mm in donations to help restore the theater in the 1980s.

I'd been wanting to try burlesque for a while, and Rogue offers the Sassy, Classy and Brassy burlesque 101 class at Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) several times a year. They made what could have been an uncomfortable experience baring myself (literally) to strangers fun, sexy, and positive. These ladies are professional, sassy, supportive, and funny to boot! After my class, I became more involved in the burlesque scene and have helped out at several shows since then. I've even had the chance to compete in two of Rogue's Lucky 13 amateur shows, which are usually held every 3 months or so. Contestants have the chance to workshop their routine, no matter what stage of progress, to two Roguers for feedback. And let me tell you, if you're not used to performing, it's HARD. Especially when removal of clothing is involved! But these ladies are so supportive, and offer really encouraging, thoughtful, and useful feedback. You can tell the troupe puts a lot of love, sweat, tears, and sometimes (fake) blood into their work. I also love the diversity within Rogue; troupe members really embody a lot of different characters and archetypes, and manage to come up with creatively sexy routines that sometimes challenge us, as an audience, to think outside the box, usually make us laugh, and always make our hearts pound. I'm so proud to say I'm a (small) part of it.

Attended a show there in the summer and while the show was great, the venue is in horrendous shape and they don't care. First, they claim to be ADA compliant. That's pretty much a lie. They're wheelchair accessible, *IF* they remember to open the door that leads to the elevator, and ALSO to unlock the door that leads to the venue, HOWEVER, they very often forget one or both of those, but also, they do NOT have an accessible restroom!! Saloon, down the hall, allows use of their accessible restroom, *IF* they're open, but they have cut their hours, and were not open during the aforementioned show. No warning, just no ADA-compliant restroom. This is BAD. I have emailed the venue FOUR TIMES and have been completely ignored. So here we are. A place that used to be quirky but cool, is now just a little craphole that sometimes manages to book good talent. I would definitely advise my friends who produce shows to find elsewhere. Communication is important. So is accessibility. They do NOT care. I was going to be nice and give 2 stars, but you know what? With their willingness to refuse to talk about/include accessibility, they can take their one star and shove it.

I've been part of the goth community for over a decade, and one thing I've always believed is that appearance alone shouldn't determine whether someone is "alternative enough." The whole point is to exist outside of rigid social norms, not create new ones. My group arrived fully aware of the dress code: all black or clearly on theme. I was dressed head-to-toe as a man-eating spider clown, and my friend who is a baby bat wore black cargo pants, a black lace top, and some of the best black-and-white clown makeup I've ever done. Yet we were turned away because they were wearing brown Converse. We accepted the decision without argument, but were met with a snarky attitude that made us feel as though we were stupid and should have known better. Maybe it simply wasn't the bouncer's best night, but decency and respect should be at the forefront of the job, especially when interacting with people who are already complying and leaving without issue. What made the experience so disappointing is that spaces like this are supposed to be for the outcasts, the weirdos, and the people who don't fit neatly into a box. Instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and not good enough. That's the exact opposite of what a community like this should stand for.
