I have a love-hate relationship with this concert venue. What I love is the gorgeous sea side location, all of the fresh air, the plentiful bathrooms that rarely have lines, the multitude of nearby parking options, the variety of restaurants in the area, the fun photo backgrounds, and the sound is always good. However, the sight lines here are just so bad that I've often opted to see bands elsewhere. There just isn't enough of a slope to the floor to be able to see over the person in front of you. We were most recently here for the BNL show in 7/25 and our seats were in the front row of section 6. This wasn't too bad for sight lines - far better than being in the middle of a section. However, the best views were found by standing outside of the seating area. Great show anyway and there are lots of things to like about this venue, just wish the sight lines were better.

Great view from middle of venue

I love this venue! Intimate yet open. Loud and clear with great bass. Views all around as it is right on the water. It is larger than other local small venues, but the seating and breathing room are a worthy trade-off. Guest services was very polite, and signs showed they had everything you'd need in an emergency (Tide sticks, feminine products, etc.). Instead of waiting in line for opening, we ate across the street with a clear view of the line (check out my last review!). When we got in, the crowd thinned out, and they had a great setup to grab merch. It also seemed you could grab merch outside the venue, though I would not expect that for all artists. I would recommend coming early, as they had one main merch booth in the venue. It was well staffed, though, with at least 3 employees keeping the line going. They have great photo spots near the water and in front of the stage. If you'd like, the aisles were large, and you could take a pic in front of the stage with no issue before the concert. Right next to the stage was an opening near the water, and the smoking area also had a pretty good view too (not a lot of smokers at our concert, but it depends on the audience.) The food smelled good, and they had a good variety of drinks, but no way am I paying venue prices. That is the name of the game, though, and it will be the same at any concert venue you go to. Feel free to bring an empty water bottle or, in my case, a sealed water bottle, as they have a refill station near the restrooms. My other issue is not many artists I'd want to see head here, but when they do, I'll be there!

Great outdoor venue for the summer!!! It is small and intimate, and right on the water. The stage is set up underneath a tent so once under the large Pavilion you will have shade, and basic seats to watch the concert in. Several bathrooms are located in the venue, that are easy to access and clean (so many that you probably won't wait in line). The best part about the venue is the area circling around the stage. This area contains all the vendors for food, drinks, and clothing. You can leave your seat and still see/hear whoever is performing, it is a GREAT setup. Parking in Seaport can be difficult, so just plan accordingly. Really cool "vibe" that will have you coming back (weather permitting!).

Section 2 row S seat 5. I'm on my tippy toes with my arm up as far as it will go to the sky. Buy tickets A through E in this section.

HORRIBLE venue if YOU'RE SHORT & everyone is STANDING. Think of your kiddos too. There was a lovely mom and dad who took their young son to the Goo Goo Dolls with protective headphones on. It was his dream to see them live. His parents held him up while he stood on the chair. He and his parents still didn't have a good view. I'd say his mom is 5"5. The chairs aren't stable. And adults are not allowed to sit on them. Technically no one is but nobody complained. If you want to bring your 7 years plus child to a show here, get close to the stage and have them wear protective earphones. Also, the band will probably have a soft spot for your child and reach out to them. The venue is pretty much flat. So even if you're 5"6 you are craning your neck with 6ft + people. Or wide & tall people. In order to truly see anything you need to be as close to the stage as possible. This means Section 2 rows A through E. Venue protocol for the actual concerts: START exactly WHEN they START. They END exactly WHEN they END. Clockwork. THERE IS NO ENCORE!! I don't feel a show is a show without an encore. I'm not going to this event again. This broke my heart. 3 minutes after the Goo Goo Dolls played Iris, the crew were breaking down the stage. I was in shock. POSITIVES A) It's right on the HARBOR. It's right off the PIKE. PARKING TIP (you're welcome) GO DIRECTLY THROUGH Spot Hero or another SEPARATE PARKING BOOKING SITE!!! Ticketmaster/LiveNation/venues will have a directory to the local parking offerings. They offer TWO hours before the venue opens and only ONE hour after. For the SAME exact PRICE I parked for 24 HOURS! I don't want any of you having a blast & then receiving a ticket, boot, or tow. Have fun in Boston. This way you can roam around care free. And, you don't have to deal with traffic because you can come and go as you please, B) It's a small COVERED OUTDOOR venue. C) PLENTY of RESTROOMS. The opposite of Fenway. Even with the intense heatwave & everyone chugging water & drinks like crazy. D) Guest services provides things you may need like Tide Sticks, hair ties, bandaids, feminine hygiene products. All FREE. E) Safety is their priority. Yesterday the weather was in the RED for Boston. We were allowed to bring in up to a gallon of water! I brought in 50 ounces of a sealed water bottle. Normally it's 30 ounces. They urged us to bring neck fans and water mister bottles. My fan didn't do much. But bring a spray mister bottle. Not a pre made Evian can. A see through bottle that is empty to get through security. I bet $ you can bring a neck fan & mister even if it isn't a major heatwave. F) The staff are welcoming and friendly. As long as you abide by the guidelines for bags etc.. you're cool. G) Variety of vendors. You can bring your food to your seat no problem. Just do it plenty of time before the acts. I used to love this venue decades ago. It was run differently. People sat down for rock concerts and you could see. I saw the Goo Goo Dolls during their Dizzy Up the Girl tour and it was outstanding! Not anymore. It's like a different planet. There were several encores! Do NOT Take the T Getting there by T is extraordinarily time consuming. UNLESS YOU LIVE RIGHT ON THE T. I mean walk down your street. Don't bother. I went to see the Goo Goo Dolls when I was living right on the T and took the T in.

First item to note, the cell service really sucks here. Be sure to screenshot your tickets or save them to your iPhone wallet so you're not stuck without them. Secondly, there is a strict bag policy but I found the info online before the show & was able to find a bag that would comply. We parked on D street around a 15 minute walk away. It wasn't too bad but we didn't bother trying to get closer. There are food & drink booths but the prices are pretty steep. I stuck with expensive water. We had great seats in section 2, row W. It was a rainy night but it was comfortable under the tent. The venue is right on the harbor and I'm sure would be great on a beautiful summer night. The bathrooms I saw were not handicap accessible. Not sure if there were other ones. Overall, I'd definitely come here again. It's a small venue and must easier to navigate than some of the arenas/stadiums.

I went here for Slash's Serpent Festival. I really liked the venue for the most part. I made the mistake of purchasing VIP access, which was very underwhelming. I enjoyed the vendors out in the main venue much more. Seating was good. Staff was helpful. Sound was mostly good. I do not know about parking, as we walked from our hotel. But, its Boston, so I imagine parking is both limited and expensive. I would definitely go here to see other shows.

Very nice small venue for a concert by the Boston harbor. Looking forward to going to mor concerts here.

Adore catching shows here, mainly because the vibe pretty laid back for a large venue. The harborside locale makes for nice breezes, and even the uncovered seats in the way back have ideal sight lines to the stage. Tickets for relatively high demand acts are reasonable, and the super tallboys of domestic beer average out to $10/pint. Still stupid, but not as stupid as other venues. Clean, widely available bathrooms; COVID screenings (either vax cards or rapid testing results) are mandatory, and the staff are not jerks - providing just the right level of ushering when the crowd starts to get wild. You will likely need to stand the whole time - no stadium seating and of course, all it takes is one or two folks near the front to start (and maintain) a chain reaction.

I saw Hozier here. I was in section 2, row M. We had an excellent view, but the view was relatively good from anywhere in the pavilion. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The seats were pretty comfortably sized. It's relatively easy to get to for concert venues if its size in the area and a nice semi-outdoor vibe for a summer or early fall/late spring concert! (Needless to say, Hozier was incredible live!!)

One of the best venues around. Great light shows and sound. Great vendors all over like a festival. Parking options nearby. Thanks for making Goose and JRAD a super fun time. The pavillion kept us dry in a hell of a rainstorm too!

I've seen pictures and a video marketing promo and it looked like a good time. Purchased tickets on line for three adults took a screen shot of my receipt and Boston bound we went. Arrived earlier than anticipated so walked Fanuiel Hall and the area. Too early so many things were not open at 9a on a Saturday. The doors opened at 10a. While waiting I attempted to open the app needed to get your tickets and lo and behold the app crashes before we even get through the door. Thank God I took a screen shot of the receipt. Doors open and three families ahead of us go I and get checked in. Then it was our turn we were an hour early, no problem. The app crashed and I can't get my tickets, no problem reservations under our name! Done! Got our hands stamped and off we went. First exhibit was the moving eyes, then the crooked room then the hotel plunge. That closed when it was our turn, they needed to wash the floor. No problem we've got so much more ahead of us. The exhibits are for all ages although I think younger minds might not fully what is going on. A woman with her three children had a three year old who hated it. Highly recommend if your looking for a spot right on the water and a view if Boston Harbor. Located at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Downtown Boston. Beautiful setting. Outdoor seating. Our Waitstaff, Michael, Gemma and Antonio are attentive, friendly, professionally and courteous. The menu are "small plates" and perfectly proportioned for just a bite and drinks. We were a party of 3 and got a chance to try the different selections in the menu. First off the mini lobster roll wasn't exactly mini. Packed full of lobster meat and for the price of $18 was the best deal on the menu. Easily would have been $30 elsewhere. Tasty and refreshingly perfect. Also ordered the Buffalo wings, wagyu slider, scallion pancake flatbread, truffle fries and the fruit pops for dessert. All were excellent, absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. Compliments to the Chef! Also, free live music concert is available on the barge on the water Tuesdays through Fridays. Great take for a summer evening and night on the town.
