Here you'll find everything monogrammed--towels, cups, purses, plates, headbands, anything you can imagine. Need a baby gift? They've got baby stuff galore. You can also find paper plates that look as nice as china, as well as fun napkins, cups, and all kinds of other gift stuff. You will pay a bit more than, say, a Hallmark, but let's face it--the selection and quality at Hot Pink is a thousand times better than a retail chain! I was able to pick up an adorable candy dish. Not only did the store clerk wrap it up for me she also included the candy I had picked up at another store allowing my gift to be complete. Hot Pink is awesome. the only reason I took a star off is that it's very crowded and sometimes hard to navigate, especially if there are a lot of customers. Actually, it's impossible to navigate if there are a lot of customers. They have an awesome stationary selection. I can find something for pretty much any occasion. I'm a stationary snob and hoarder. I have far more stationary than any normal human being and more than I'll ever possibly be able to use. But I can always find more that I just have to have in Hot Pink. They also have an awesome assortment of candles. They have a lot of different brands and sell a million different scents. If you or someone you know like candles, you'll find something here. You'll find far more than you'll ever need. They have all kinds of gifts for all kinds of people. There's always something that you'll love. Actually, it's very dangerous. Hot Pink is a stationary and gift store, they specialize in things appropriate for a baby or bridal shower because they have lots of baby and bridal themed items like stationary, and invitations already prepared. This place is also the mecca of all things monogrammed. They have pink and blue monogrammed napkins, candles, baby bibs, stemware, tote bags, and linens. I wasn't too crazy about all the monogrammed stuff, but I did fall in love with some polka dotted notebooks....that's the trouble with places like this, they are bound to have at least one thing one can't live without. My sister did her Christmas shopping here in early October knowing she would be having surgery in December and unable to shop. I received a gift from her but it was a duplicate. Since I received it on Christmas and it was purchased in October the store refused to give me store credit and stood on their 60 day return policy. I explained it was a Christmas gift and I had not received gift untIl after 60 days of purchase. I had the receipt, the tag was on the item, and they still had the item in the store at full price. Both my sister and I have shopped at this store since they opened as they have great merchandise but neither of us will be back. read more

I loved the store! Amazing selection of gifts, scented candles and other things that I would love to own. The only con is the prices, which are quite high. $28 dollars for a scented candle? They truly have an eclectic mix of items for any woman's tastes and there always seems to be something new or something you never noticed before. Service is outstanding; they'll actually have a salesperson walk through the store with you to help you pick out something your wife will really like based on what you describe as her taste or favorite things. This is a very cute stationary place in Brentwood. I love all of their colorful and polka dotted items. However, Hot Pink is very expensive! Some things are moderate but I don't believe you can go out of that store without spending less than $15.00! Anyway, the staff is very friendly and wonderful. Hot Pink is a cute little gift shop in Brentwood. They have a little bit of everything -- bath stuff, candles, linens, stationery, Tervis Tumblers. I'd say it's a great place to get a baby shower gift or a wedding present. I picked up some nice kitchen stuff for a friend of mine that she really enjoyed. They were a pair of metal fleur-de-lis salad tongs. I got them a few years ago and didn't see them when I stopped in yesterday, but there's plenty of other stuff to look through. I know that Hot Pink is a popular store, but I find their merchandise too overpriced and a bit impractical. It is hit and miss for me honestly, but maybe that's because I'm particular about the gifts I buy for my friends and family and I also know the value of a dollar. They have very cute Matilda Jane-inspired aprons for ladies who enjoy cooking, but you can find very similar ones at T.J. Maxx for half the cost. I have patronized the store for years, and the owner who knows me and worshipped at the same church I did for many years, was recently extremely rude to me because my 4 yr old daughter was quietly playing with a pair of sunglasses in a clear case that was at my daughter's eye level. She actually took them away from her and said, "These break really easily." Why did she have 20 brightly colored pairs of them in a container by at her eye level? I sincerely apologized to the owner, but she never acted like she accepted my apology. I was baffled! Also, I find their staff to be phony and a bit snobby. For example, I bought an overpriced dish towel with the state of MS embroidered on it. It was a Mother's Day gift for my mother, and both my mother and I were born and raised in MS. I lived there until I was 23. When I went to the register to pay for it, the clerk said in a very rude and condescending tone, "You do know that's Mississippi, right?" I was stunned, and replied, "Yes." When she asked whose name to put on the gift, I said, "Mom." I think she realized that she had offended me. Plus, to top it off, I spent almost $90, all of which were special gifts for friends and family, and they never even said, "Thank you." Very poor manners, indeed. All of the staff should take some etiquette lessons, and remember that they are there to serve the customers, not behave rudely to them. They have lost my business. I never want to go in that shop again, and after today, I will not. read more

The product was still in stock but they would not process an even exchange bc their system showed the product was purchased too long ago...even though it was still in stock at the same full price, and they wouldn't have lost any money on it. I've tried shopping at Hot Pink on 2 occasions, but was disappointed each time. Most of their merchandise is cutesy, whimsical; but everything is way too expensive.They do carry a few Seda France candles, but their stock is limited, and the candle I bought was actually dusty from having been on the shelf for so long.The merchandise is not displayed to its best advantage and everything seems hodge-podge. Everything is arranged on tables that are placed very close together. I worried that I would bump into something or knock something over. You will definitely be in someone's way all the time. I didn't find the staff particularly friendly or helpful, especially after I recoiled at the price of their plainest stationery. Nothing in Hot Pink's inventory is so special or unique to make a trip there worthwhile. The soaps and candle brands they carry can be found online, so don't fight the Brentwood traffic. read more
