I first became aware of Hot Spot Airsoft by watching their YouTube videos, showcasing their various products. Irritant/Kinetic co2 launchers (stock & modified), parts, accessories, co2 and more, Hot Spot Airsoft has everything needed for the hobby. Acquiring a Mercury Rise Intrubuster Gen 2 this past March, an extended barrel was on my list for parts to purchase for it. The only option available was from another YouTube content creator, with a premium price attached to it. Waiting till hopefully more options became available, Claudio at Hot Spot Airsoft, posted videos on his prototype barrel extensions for the Intrubuster Gen 2, which he 3D prints individually and were testing for upcoming rollout. After a few videos, he finalized the design, a 10" & 6", and gave an introductory price for the first 50 customers, which was almost half the cost of what the other YouTube content creator's barrel extensions were. I quickly jumped on the early bird promo, and soon had my 10" barrel extension in my possession. The 10" barrel extension is simple to install, and my Intrubuster Gen 2 has now had a devastating power boost. I'm quite happy with my purchase, especially when utilizing the promo for the first 50 customers. Unfortunately, Hot Spot Airsoft's physical store for 30 years caught fire and has been permanently closed. Fortunately, however, they still do website & phone sales. Email communication has been met with quick responses. I chose UPS for shipping, and the shipping time was about a week. If you're looking to get into the airsoft/co2 launcher hobby, Hot Spot Airsoft has got you covered. They have great prices on stock and modified launchers, along with everything else needed. I have been in the store 3 times with my son who is new into air soft, we walked out 2 of the 3 without buying anything. My son who is 12 decided to go to the store without me to purchase a new magazine. when I got home and found out the store sold him a box of 8 instead of 1 or 2. I was furious. They up sold a 12 year old and talked him into buying a whole case and said that was all they had, and could not sell the magazine individual. I took my son back to the store to return the case of magazines, for a refund. is seems they only exchange for store credit. and the " store manager / owner" decided to break up the case and sell them individually for $19 each, any other place on line was $16 each at the most. so we were stuck there trying to purchase $90 worth of shit. we bought 3 of the mags for $57 he tried selling my son a red dot sight for $50 that is $32 on amazon. and he tried selling him a used pistol, but kept saying its brand new and you are saving $30. The people here have zero personality! Please do yourself a favor and go to Ricochet Tactical in levittown, its in a weird place, but the service and selection and knowledge is far superior see Shaq he at least has a personality and knowledgeable. read more

do not go here!!!! i brought my co2 container here to get refilled. on my way home the tank exploded in my car while driving on the highway, imagine how scary that is!! we called the store and spoke to the manager and he had no concern for our safety in the car and put blame on the container rather his unqualified worker!! read more

I normally deal with long island air-soft but lately their selection has been small because of the holidays so i figured id check out hot spot. They have a lot of stuff but its cluttered with junky products.The staff seems friendly until they sell you something that doesn't work properly. the return policy is a joke and i wouldn't suggest buying anything there unless you know its exactly what you want and theirs no chance you will ever need to return it even if its broken when you get it. read more

If I leave a gun here to be fixed i know it will be done right, much unlike the service at strike force sports. Their selection has expanded so they have tons of guns now. They might not have a lot of equipment, guns, or parts all the time because it is constantly be sold as soon as new inventory comes in. But when they do have things in stock, they sell quick. The first time there was not fulfilling. They don't answer all my questions about things, just seem annoyed. There are no Crosman products, no replacement parts, no discounts for orders below $1000 minimum. Prices are double or triple for same on internet. I ended up leaving empty handed and feeling badly. I normally order in through the internet for myself, I own quite a collection of airsoft guns that I have dedicated a whole closet to them and my gear, but when my 16 year old son wanted to get into the sport as well. I thought why not, id take an hours drive into long island and take him to a store and decide what he wanted in person. After a few weeks of him saving up his money, I took him to Hot Spot Airsoft, the first thing I realized when i step in to the store, is there is not a large selection which was explained as since they opened a store in Connecticut they have lowered their stock in the long island store, things were not well placed in the store and they had maybe one person actually working the other guys were talking with friends in the front of the store. When my son wanted information about the different guns, the guy had his head in the clouds giving very bare boned information, and when my son finally made his selection, the guy took about 15 minutes to get it from the back aswell as the fact this guy had just had a really bad attitude problem, he was very rude and pushy. I think it was because my son was 16 and Airsoft is really meant for older individuals, but you know what a paying customer is a paying customer especially with his father with him. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone, their atmosphere is so negative, they are very expensive and I was disappointed with the selection. I personally prefer and recommend Airsoft Gi in California, even though it has to be mailed in and it takes a long time, they are always very helpful and have a larger collection than Hot Spot Airsoft who on their website have a large list of gun's but it always seams like half their stock is out of stock. read more
