Now, I was completely traumatized over my favorite store closing but the Columbiana Coach store starting courting me as soon as my store closed. I received emails and a phone call. I'm convinced my name is flagged in the system and they knew to pull out all the stops for me ;). Anyway, I purchased a bag on the online site and wasn't happy with it and decided to take the hour trip for an exchange instead of paying to send this very large bag back with insurance. They were having a 25-30% off sale for purchases and there was no better time to pick up something new. I went in specifically for that new Swagger bag in green but of course it was sold out. I knew I wanted that bag and to my surprise the color I wanted and the color that is sold out online was sitting there glowing above Mister's head. It was the only one left. Johanna was very knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase. It felt like old times; Mister sitting in his designated spot (any chair available) and me with the Coach glow waiting for checkout (yes, we have a routine). Johanna even knew my favorite associates (Lorna, Erin and LaToya) from the Augusta store. The store is beautifully designed and I love the brown bags and gift boxes. Coach has stepped their game up the past few seasons (along with the prices) and I think the brand is going in a positive direction. It's no wonder my first purchase of the season would be called swagger. The collections I've seen so far have plenty of swag. Poor Mister. I'm sure he thought his wallet was safe after the Augusta store closed, was probably sitting there thinking about the C notes that are going back into Coach store circulation.

Academy is a good sporting goods store, but I would probably emphasize the "Outdoors" part of its…read morename when coming here. I came in to look at some golf equipment, but their selection was quite limited. If you're looking for "outdoors" merchandise like hunting gear, fishing gear, coolers, guns & ammunition, etc. this is a great store. If you're looking for specific gear for a particular sport like basketball, baseball, football, or golf, I'd probably pick another option like Play It Again or Dick's.

I declined any special treatment, as that is not what I'm looking for or intended to receive with my review. I increased the 1 star to a 5 star based on the quick response and the concern about my experience. After speaking with her, I will give this place another chance. Original review: I've never felt so unwelcomed while shopping for clothes. I walked in WANTING to spend a few hundred dollars because I needed a cute last minute outfit for a bbq. One girl said, "hello" and literally she was the only one. A lady employee crouched on the ground to find something for another customer next to me, blocking me from moving forward and didn't say anything. Nothing. No apology, no offer to help, nothing. It was an awkward silence while I waited for her to finish. The girl who said hello, asked to start a dressing room for me, but never came back to me to tell me where the room was. I figured it out by the dress hanging on the door. I needed another size in a dress I was interested in, but no offered to help. Not while i was in the room, and not even when I got out of the room. I figured I would just get it myself. They had maybe two other customers in the store at this time. As I was walking towards the rack to look for the correct size, I saw an employee about 2 feet from the rack I was walking towards. She looked at me with no smile and walked away. Didn't say anything at all. While shopping around, they offered another customer drinks, but didn't even acknowledge me. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but that was absurd. I spent about 20 minutes in that store and walked all the way around and had items in my hands to buy, but I left them. I don't like saying that people are discriminative, but I am hoping that my race didn't have anything to do with this situation. This was my first and last time in that store. It's unfortunate because we live right down the street. Also, unfortunate for them because I'm about to meet 40 army wives or service women who all just moved to the area at bbq.

I came in knowing I wanted two different styles. Once they figured out what I was looking for they went through the whole store looking for my size and the styles they thought I would like. Their kindness and patience never wavered. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. They were super professional and efficient. They made me feel like I had my own personal assistants. I highly recommend you visit this store to restore your faith in true customer service.

When I told them multiple times I didn't need their help I could see them complaining about me from a couple feet away. I had to leave although I picked stuff out because I was so stressed. Some people enjoy having a sales associate help with finding sizes and styles, I do not and wish they would've respected that. I will never go back in there.
