Of course it's a big chain but in Pittsburgh there are a massive array of places to buy nice men's clothing. I needed something in a pinch so we were glad it was here out in the suburbs and service is definitely friendly.

I came in to book rentals for my wedding next year and the service that I received from not only the regular employees, but also the store manager was absolutely disgusting to say the least. In the past, I hadn't had many bad experiences with this location but they seem to have cleaned house and completely redid their staffing. Josh didn't seem to know what he was talking about, Mike wasn't very helpful and couldn't give me direct answers to any questions, and the manager Jenn on this specific visit was just very rude and passive aggressive. I went in with my fiancé knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had spoke with someone at a bridal show in January and had randomly visited the South Hills location during a shopping trip about a month ago and decided to actually look at what was offered for rental packages. We were very pleased with what was offered and just needed to make sure that our groomsmen were okay with renting what was going to be needed and see if everyone actually needed to rent all of the pieces or if they had a suit that was similar and just needed a shirt, vest, etc. When we went to the Robinson location, we spoke with a few people, including the store manager and she brushed off all of what we had wanted and made our plans sound small and stupid. We ended up not booking with Men's Wearhouse and went to Top Hat Tuxedo in Fox Chapel, where we were met with overwhelming support and kindness - unlike this location. I can tell that the manager walks around on a high horse and i'm not sure why. The store was dirty, the staff was undertrained, and the manager was rude. I hope other people have better experiences than we did, but yes, a 1 star from us, and some advice to any engaged couple seeing this - DON'T BOOK HERE. The manager will make your feelings and ideas for YOUR wedding feel invalid and small. It's your wedding, not hers and not her employees. If they treat you the way they treated us, go somewhere better. Top Hat Tuxedo was great.

Lots of deals too - follow to get the most bang for your buck! Some stores have this super cool Integrated dressing room that knows what you bring in, and you can push a button to have someone bring you an alternate size/ color, etc. Hopefully they'll all have this soon as it is very helpful, and efficient, especially for someone who is shy to bother people

I've also spent the last three years working from home, meaning that I really haven't had a need to buy jeans in quite some time. But finally the day has come: I'm around people more often and leggings just don't always cut it, depending on the activity or setting. Bonus challenge: I've lost weight so I have no idea what size pants to buy without trying them on. That was the scenario I found myself in when I decided to go to Old Navy. Historically I was actually a loyal Kohls shopper, but not only were their sales minimal that day (i.e. this former regular had sticker shock) but only a single pair of pants I tried there looked decent on me. (Real talk, when your shape is too big for one size but too small for the next size up...it's a bad day for your self-esteem.) After that disappointment, shopping at Old Navy was a much better experience all around. The store felt brighter, less cluttered, and better organized. Bonus, Old Navy knows its audience: it has lots of signage around the store explaining exactly how each pant style being sold would fit/sit/flare/etc once on. I saved so much time skipping the styles I just have no interest in/know will look bad on me. I left Old Navy with two jeans and three shorts for a reasonable price (heck yeah, summer sales), and all of them fit better than the majority of items I'd tried on at the previous store. So yay: I once again have jeans for when I need them, and I have shorts for those really hot summer days too. (But I'm still throwing my leggings on when I can - they're the best!)

Duluth Trading Company is a retail-store chain that sells clothing, shoes, and accessories for men…read moreand women as well as some travel gear, tools, etcetera. This particular store is in Robinson Township. My husband for years has really liked their thick leather belts and their comfortable underwear, and more recently he has started to buy their shirts and bottoms. I really like their shirts. These products are so durable that they last for many years without getting holes, torn threads, or other damage. The prices are moderate and are reasonable for the high quality. During our past visits to this store, employees spoke nicely with us, offered assistance, did not pressure us to buy anything, and promptly and accurately rang up our purchases. Most recently my husband bought two pairs of shorts that cost only a total of $59.

It was great for keeping his frequently used tools organized and within easy reach. At that time, the items were geared for people working in the outdoors. Think of being outside working construction in Duluth, Minnesota during winter and the need for heavy duty work clothes and accessories. The company has greatly expanded since then to include women's clothing and miscellaneous outdoor items. This store is about an hour drive from my home, but was worth the trip to do some Christmas shopping. The building is behind the Robinson Town Mall, but easily found. The store is well lit and everything is attractively displayed and organized. The prices are on the high side, but I can say that what I have purchased from this company has lasted. The underwear is famous for comfort and always good for husband's Christmas stocking. As for me, I picked two of the long no-tug t-shirts for hubs to wrap up and give to me. I usually order online but a trip here was a great way to get things off my gift list. Sales staff were very friendly, except for one cashier who was impatient with how people lined up to checkout. She reminded me of the soup-nazi from Seinfeld. Lol, she'll probably be much nicer after Christmas .
