We recently hired Hotard to transport our many out-of-town guests throughout our wedding day. We had a somewhat complicated itinerary to follow (with one shuttle transporting the wedding party and the other making a couple loops to pick up and drop off guests), but they nailed every step of it. The shuttles were clean and comfortable and the drivers were friendly and helpful - we couldn't have asked for a better transportation experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Kristyn Williams at the Hotard office for answering my many questions during the wedding planning process and managing the changes we had to make. She always responded to emails promptly and professionally, and she was truly a godsend to have as we worked through the logistics of the day. They both arrived early and took extra time to help guests with special needs. Didn't ride one, but their bus driver accidentally went into a turning lane and recklessly cut across 3 lanes in the middle of an intersection to get out of it during rush hour in Tallahassee. The driver nearly crashed into me and I had to slam my breaks and drive my car over the curb to avoid it. Don't trust your life with these drivers, just pay for a better service. All drivers have been very professional and wonderful. Coach was always on time and in the right places.

Also had Monquelle Davis and Mack Moore as drivers. Monquelle dealt with the traffic related to French Quarter Fest with aplomb. Never seemed perturbed although people were changing lanes and blocking intersections like crazy. Also dealt with the cramped conditions at NOMA. Mack got us rolling to the WWII Museum while everyone else was milling about. And he dealt With the safety of his passengers and the traffic well. Kudos to ur operation! read more

Hotard Coaches should be your transportation provider of absolute last resort! My wife and I recently hired Hotard to provide transportation to and from our wedding in New Orleans. While the buses did show up to the pickup location on time, the drivers then ignored our wedding planner's driving directions and ended up taking their own route which caused the start of our wedding to be delayed by almost an hour. When our wedding planner confronted the drivers about this incident, they were dismissive and rude. Additionally, on the return trip from the venue, one of the drivers was over an hour late arriving back at the venue stranding nearly 40 of our guests. When we confronted the driver about his tardiness, he provided some unintelligible excuse about having an issue with his phone. Finally, and perhaps most egregious, when we raised these issues with Hotard customer service, they brushed us off and noted that these sort of things happen and did not in any way compromise their service. If their modus operandi is to provide subpar service with surly drivers, then they did in fact execute on their customer service proposition, although I can't imagine doing so will enable them to flourish for very long. Bottom line: avoid Hotard at all possible costs! read more

We chartered a Hotard bus for a recent Mardi Gras "Mystery Bus Trip" and the experience was excellent. The driver was professional, the bus was clean and fresh smelling, the air conditioner worked really well. The bus arrived full of fuel and the holding tank for the restroom was empty - these are things I checked as last year the bus line we used did not check these things and the "full" light on the bathroom came on within an hour of starting our trip - we had to stop for fuel midway - and to top it off, the driver actually brought his wife with him. I am happy to say that none of that happened with Hotard. I would highly recommend them! read more

We rented a Hotard Coach to take our out of town guests from the hotel to my daughter's wedding venue, and I am so glad that we did. Hotard kept in touch with us the months leading up to the date to check if we had any changes or questions. On the day of the wedding the driver called because he was one guest short and did not want to leave anybody behind. From the beginning planning phase to the end of the event, Hotard was excellent. Communication via email was always prompt, detailed, and friendly. The buses were on time, in excellent condition, and our bus drivers were friendly, professional, and patient. We had two 55-passenger buses for a group of high school seniors on graduation night. They were a rowdy crew but nothing phased Lionel and Otis. I wanted to take a moment to write a review regarding the fabulous bus drivers that were assigned to us in New Orleans. We had a large group of 128 passengers from Agoura High School, Agoura Hills, CA from April 24-28th. We had a total of 3 buses and all of the drivers were fabulous! All performing their jobs with the highest professionalism as well as giving our group the best care. Our students and chaperones appreciate the kindness and care the bus drivers showed each and everyone of us!. They really helped to make our trip a fabulous experience! Dorian, our bus driver on bus 3, went above and beyond to enrich our experience by requesting a better bus, by sharing local information and by immediately responding to our needs, always! A beautiful human being with an amazing attitude! All the passengers on Dorian's bus were absolutely thrilled when Dorian presented us with a gift of a special Music CD containing a playlist of all the passenger's favorite music. The CD included a picture of the group as a CD cover. We know this took a lot of personal time for Dorian to put together and we appreciate the kindness and gift. We all adored Dorian and could not have had the same New Orleans experience without Dorian's involvement! As you know, a bus driver who is part of a long term trip, can make or break the experience and Dorian as well as the other drivers helped to make this trip a trip of a lifetime! I cannot say enough nice things about Hotard Coaches. I had a group of 25 older adults in New Orleans for a long weekend and thought it would be a nice touch to add a bus for going to and from all of our activities since it was a longish walk to our destinations. I found Hotard on Google, and gave them a call to get a quote. I talked to Rudy and knew this was the company I wanted to with. He was courteous and helpful during all of the planning. When we got there, our driver, Arnold was a gem. He was on time, every single time, and was always a phone call away if I needed anything. He showed up every morning with smile and was eager to tell my group about New Orleans and answered all of their many questions. On Saturday, Arnold pleased every member of the group by acting as a shuttle for the day. He didn't have to do that, but was happy to help out in any way. This is the second time I have planned a trip with a bus, and I can only say that I wish Hotard had an office and an Arnold in every city. read more

I hired a 55-seat coach from Hotard for my destination wedding reception in New Orleans and overall it was a great experience. Our bus driver was friendly and very helpful in figuring out all the logistics (departure time, return time, etc). As for the bus, it was nice, clean, and comfortable. My guests definitely enjoyed the transportation after taking advantage of the open bar at my wedding. I would like to add that prior to hiring Hotard, I searched online and even went through the recommended vendor list provided by my wedding venue but the options seemed to be WAYYYY out of budget or the buses looked like they were not very well maintained. I'm glad I found Hotard as it was definitely great bang for my buck with reasonable prices and top quality! read more

Went on a Hotard Bus tour in Baton Rouge as part of my American Cruise Line River Cruise. My Window had tint damage and was so fogged up that you could not see out of it. I could not change seats because the bus was full. I told the tour guide and he said he would get some windex and clean it before we took off. He never came back or cleaned the window. After the tour I approached him again and shared my disappointment as a one time visit to that city. He apologized and said Hotard would make it up to me. That also did not happen. After several emails and a phone call to the tour co.NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. In my opinion they do not care about customer complaints. Did you ever go on a tour bus where you could not see out your window?? Me either. read more

So just got back from a 5 day New Orleans and Lafayette trip with 116 students and 12 chaperone /teachers. 3 buses!! I cannot say enough great things about my drivers! They truly are some of the best I have seen in awhile! Brymon Brooks, Derrick LaBeaud and Dorian Byrd. They treated the kids with respect and really interacted with them! They all three worked so well together! Brymon was my lead driver and went over and above for me. One of the girls left her wallet on the bus after we got to the airport. My daughter arrived in New Orleans with a HUGE group of older teens and young adults, in the middle of the night. She dropped her phone out of her pocket, seemingly lost forever. I set up Find my iPhone so if it was turned on, it would instruct the finder to call me. That is exactly what happened! The gentleman who cleaned the coach called me and said he found it and that dayshift would call when they got in. Dayshift did indeed call, and Latasha was ever so kind to make arrangements to get the phone back to my daughter. She also made sure that I knew that the phone was picked up!
