My 420th review on Yelp. 7th person to review HOTBOX farms in Huntington, Oregon (Pacific time zone). Since this is my 420th Yelp review, I found it fitting to review a dispensary! The items that are sold here are illegal in many states and very illegal to bring over the border-- buyer beware. I am sure they're the same at every dispensary. It's a nice drive from Boise and I go with my friend who is an avid partaker. They have so many items/methods and friendly service! If this is somthing that you participate in, I encourage you to take the nice drive and visit this establishment. read more

This is for Ontario Or location. I give Hot Box Farms 1 star because I can't give zero. I went to window soon as I walked in. Got a number and mentioned I was going in rest room before shopping. As soon as I walked into shop I was stopped by old guy in purple who told me I had to go sign in. I said I had a number but he said he didn't believe me. How rude!! I am extremely honest and don't appreciate being called a liar. He told me again to go sign in. I asked what did I have to sign? He wouldn't or couldn't tell me. Just kept telling me to sign in. Sign what?? Then a kid with a broom and dust pan stepped in (he had been out front cleaning when I first entered building and saw me go to desk). He also kept telling me I had to sign in. Since he had already seen me I didn't understand why he wasn't telling the old guy I had checked in. So I was getting more and more upset because they kept telling me I had to sign in but wouldn't tell me what I had to sign! I showed my number to kid and turned to shop. He ran off then came and back and said my behavior was unacceptable and I had to leave. I said fine and wouldn't be back and the kid said they didn't want me back. I don't appreciate abuse and harassment when I go shopping. Nobody else has to sign anything before entering. Why was I treated differently? I am a senior disabled woman with C-PTSD and Bipolar 1 and Anxiety. Plus entire body full of arthritis and scoliosis plus other things. I have had a headache for over 40 years. I just wanted to get something to ease all pain. Mental and Physical. Obviously this is not a company I will ever buy from again. There are other and better places. I also know this company doesn't allow Service Dogs and I have one that always goes with me. It is illegal to deny a Service Dog. Doubly sure I will never go back. It is also true the quality you get is not what you see. Went with friend who likes it but I was only looking. Not even worth a look. read more

I visited today and was denied service because apparently I said something that is not allowed in the course of making a purchase. This was not explained by the girl behind the counter. She was very unpleasant and was not helpful. AKA- Pot Nazi. Went down the street and made my purchases at 420ville. There the staff explained to me what I had said that caused the Pot Nazi to refuse to sell the edibles to me. Will no longer go to a Hot Box dispensary after being treated so poorly. read more

Not a great experience. Maybe it was a bad day but the lady who helped me was condescending and not at all helpful or friendly. I'm from Washington, and I'm accustomed to really great service, info, and selection at my favorite dispensaries. This place offered pretty much the opposite experience. Thankfully we're heading home so I'll stop at the first place in Washington and I guarantee the bad taste in my mouth from this place will disappear into vapor. read more

I was there first part of Sept. There were so many employees there I thought I would great great service. Not really. Everyone was in such a rush. I went in for a specific item for pain and was talked into a lotion. STRIKE OUT!!! The guy said it would be perfect and he used it all the time. The lotion didnt even come close to helping. I used it faithfully for 2 weeks and decided it was a huge waste of money. If you know what you want and what works, dont rely on anyone else for an opinion. Go with what you know. read more

I go the dispensary by the Interstate for easy access. I've been impressed with every sales associate when I'm in a hurry as well. Worth the 90 minute drive. Great staff and location. Different concept than most and they make it work well. The staff makes that place Rich! I return regularly now for smaller amounts. I honestly pray Idaho take a closer look at a little tolerance, especially with all these state kids that could drink at 18 until the 90's running everything now. A couple of friends and I went in to get some great deals. I got a $90/oz of stargazer and a blackberry kush oil tank for my o pen. My friend got some purple train wreck and Dabs and everything got us wrecked! But my cartridge doesn't work and I live about an hour away so we tried to fix it, it doesn't work and I paid 50$ for the blackberry kush cartridge so I'm very disappointed. If the cartridge worked it would have been 5 stars. read more

This little place is amazing. Not only was it my first time paying a visit here. It was also my first time in any type of dispensary. That being said of course i was full of questions and the kind gentleman that was helping me had no problem answering them with a smile on his face. I will for sure be going back and will refer my friends and family to them. read more

Do not buy your flower product from this place! They show you flower and it's awesome with large, nice looking buds. Then they prepare your order in a separate area behind the counter. You do not receive the product they showed you. You receive tiny buds full of stems. I'm not sure how they can get away with this or why I haven't heard others complain about this. Be smart and go to 420ville. The staff are friendlier, more knowledgeable and you get the product they showed you. They package it right in front of you. read more
