Staff reached out months prior to find out our son's names and then Father Christmas himself handed out personalized gifts to every child using their full names at a Christmas gathering. Even for the adults was a once in a lifetime experience. Skiing from this hotel location is a Breeze. Couldn't be a better location. The views are incredible. You can walk from the station with your luggage, it's not that bad. If you rent a car they also had parking available too! It has everything you need: amazing rooms with views, a restaurant, bar, spa, a FREE laundry room, gym. I knew coming here it would be my time to relax and not really do much as I was traveling other places before. I picked this hotel for many reasons, but basically what I listed above was it, and once I arrived, everything exceeded my already high expectations. I had room 106 and it had the LARGEST patio ever. It came with a double swing, patio seats and table, and where do I even begin with the amenities in the room. A fantastic bluetooth speaker, bathrobes, slippers, coffeemaker, cups, wine glasses, etc. It was the most comfortable room ever. Spa was hands down just as gorgeous as it looks. Seriously message me if you want me to gush more. If you plan on wanting ZERO plans and just hanging around taking advantage of the hotel, this is your spot. The staff worked so hard- Dominique I saw you each morning for my FREE (included) breakfast and she was so attentive and sweet. Roger, my massage was AMAZING. Fabulous technique! I want to hug everyone who was there for my vacation 2/21-25 THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you're on the fence, you shouldn't be! BOOK THIS NO MATTER WHAT you will feel right at home! They even gave me parting cookies at check out, like for real, you guys are just magical.

The swimming pool is nice to enjoy as a family. They also have a kids play area. Loved their outdoor patio with the beautiful views. I am taking two stars off because the housekeeping never took the towels that I kept on the floor to be taken away and replaced. Instead of replacing the towels that were on the shower floor, they folded the wet towels and put them back for us to use instead of giving us new ones. Also, their hotel restaurant adlerstube - has really bad service. The blond lady is extremely rude, they kept us waiting to order for a really long time. Finally food arrived and it was really good but again no one came to check if we needed anything. Also the check never arrived , finally waiting for a good 20 minutes I went up to ask to pay. Food was good but because of the service it ruins the whole experience . The hotel needs to be mindful of this and make sure they are looking into it.

For starters its kinda off the beaten path in Interlaken, you can walk to the main area, but it's not a very nice walk, I'm glad we had a car. Then there were the rooms...oooooh man were they in MUCH needed renovation, and we paid extra for the private bathroom, yeah it was a make shift bathroom in the middle of the room and it didn't smell right. We were simply hungry tourists walking around trying to find dinner at a time that some may deem, "late-night" in Wengen. We walked into the hotel restaurant and were told that we need to go to the bar and wait until a table is ready... understandable, and not a slight in any respect. It is a small town, and we made no reservations. We are directed to the bar where we order a Pinot Grigio and get a merlot instead - that's okay, luckily we are both okay with red wine. Shortly thereafter we are seated and scolded by the manager (wearing an out-of-season-white blazer and dark denim jeans) for not making advance reservations. We were informed that it's rude to just walk in and expect a table in Wengen at this hour (8:30pm/20:30) We need to make reservations in advance in this village. Yes, we know, thank you for the public scalding... We then order a three-course meal consisting of salad bar, main course, and dessert. Among the two plates offered at the salad bar are a "large" and a "small." My husband and I, along with a pair of fellow tourists from the UK, erroneously selected the "large" and were promptly reprimanded in a public fashion by the management. Needless to say, we passed on the salads and ate only the main course. We asked to forgot the desert and take the check...and were then presented with the full amount of the three-course dinner with the check. These interactions all felt very awkward, rude, and we will not return to this restaurant...the waiter did his best, but the "manager" (out-of-season-white suit coat and denim) initiated all of the awkward and rude interaction. We told our concerns to his face and he then ran off like a little baby-child and was never to be seen again...he literally disappeared like Casper. Baby Yoda is more mature than him. Baby Yoda is also cuter. Baby Yoda would also NEVER wear a white blazer with dark denim in the dead of winter. We are such laid-back travelers...we've been all over Europe, Asia, and North/South America...For us to feel the need to write a review is EPIC and should be read.
